Apparently I'm on a DNF streak...

I don't like Viktor. At all.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. New series alert. We have stepped into the Mafia world. Viktor Volkov is the pakhan, the boss. In fact he is considered the Devil of Downtown. He is ruthless, but respected. It’s time to diversify the business. One business that he has his eye on a gallery. Everything was coming together and then it happened. A calculated hit. Before Viktor knew it, his world had changed and he did not know who to trust.

Eddie Luck is an artist. A sculptor and a Little. He was getting ready for his first gallery opening. Eddie was excited. He went to the gallery the day before to talk to the owner and noticed a man that looked a little too dangerous to be there. The conversation did not look like a good conversation. Eddie should have trusted his instincts. Instead, he went back to the gallery after closing to make sure his pieces were ready for the show. The man was back with another man. Then it happened. Eddie was in the middle. A witness and a loose end. Viktor protected Eddie during the hit and took him to a safe house out of the city.

Eddie was a Little through and through. He was bratty and Viktor had to put him in his place like only a Daddy can. I really enjoyed this book. You know I love me some littles. It gives readers all the elements that they look for in Mr. Wish’s books. A bratty little, check. A strong daddy, check. Action, check. A budding romance, check. Everything is there. Viktor had never planned to get into a relationship. He knew what being in his life meant. Would he have to let go of the only person that made him feel again? Eddie had some serious thinking to do as well. Love doesn’t care what’s going in your life. When the time is right, it’s right.

After Viktor saves him from a rival’s bullet, he refuses to let Eddie go, claiming him with a mix of strict dominance and unexpected tenderness. Eddie knows he should run, but Viktor awakens needs he’s never dared to explore. Their intense, forbidden age‑gap relationship deepens even as danger closes in. With enemies targeting the Bratva and Eddie caught in the crossfire, Viktor’s ruthless reputation becomes both Eddie’s greatest risk and his fiercest protection.

This story blends danger, drama, and dark romance in a way that makes Viktor and Eddie’s connection impossible to ignore. Their forced proximity in Viktor’s violent world gives them the space — and the pressure — to explore their Daddy/little dynamic, and watching that bond take shape is one of the book’s strongest elements. I especially enjoyed seeing Viktor soften as he caught real feelings. Beneath the ruthless exterior, those small moments of tenderness made their relationship feel surprisingly sweet amid all the brutality. Eddie’s best friend Robbie was another highlight — chaotic, loyal, and full of personality — and I’m definitely hoping he gets his own Daddy later in the series. This is a dark twist on a Daddy romance, lighter on emotional detail but still full of tension, intimacy, and a compelling push‑and‑pull between two very different men. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

As a fan of Zack’s books, I really like this new series. It seems to me to have a more complex story line, one I quickly got into and engaged with. I enjoyed Eddie and Robbie, they really came through to me as Littles, but pretty brave ones putting their lives on the line when it mattered. Viktor was the strong, silent Bratva type, stoic and stern when he had to be, but I liked his tenderness toward Eddie, the way he softened to open his heart to him (maybe with a push from Tommy to help). Eddie reached Viktor in a way he hadn’t felt in years, filling a need for him in the same way he filled one for Eddie. The story was action-filled, had a twist or two, yet flowed naturally to its just conclusion. The side characters of Ivan and Alexander were important to the story, and I know Ivan’s book is next (in the note at the end), and I can’t help wondering if Robbie will end up with Ivan as his Daddy (or maybe Alexander?). At least it would keep the two boys together as friends and found family. Guess I’ll need to wait to find out. If you like Zack’s books, I think this one will become a favorite, and if you’re new to his writing, this is a good one to start with. At least I sure enjoyed it. Hope you do, too.

This is Book 1 of the Bratva Daddies series. And a FANrastic start it is! Look forward to more from this world.

The characters were very appealing and complex and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and intense and exciting and well paced. World building was excellent and solidly drawn. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!

Eddie is a sculptor about to have his first gallery showing, he is also a Little that has not found his daddy. He happens to be in the wrong place when someone tries to take out, Pakhan Viktor Volkov, also know as the Downtown Devil. Viktor spirits Eddie away to a safe-house, which at first Eddie is not happy to stay there.

Viktor lost his Little years ago and is not sure he wants to go down that road again but there is something about Eddie that brings out his daddy side. This one has more action then romance.

Eddie, a Little sculptor witnesses a murder attempt involving Viktor, a Russian Bratva Pakhan nicknamed Devil. Viktor whisks him away to a safe house where the two become a Daddy and his boy. Mixed in with the usual spankings and toys is a depth unnoticed in many Zack books, emotions tied to the past and caring that touches a cynical man's heart. This is one of his best though there's not much burn. I received a copy of this through BookSprout and this is my voluntary opinion.

Eddie eventually accepts this and returns Viktor's love. I liked how Eddit and Robbie save Viktor when he is taken. Viktor makes Eddie's dream as an artist come true.

Intense! Viktor saves Eddie, then takes him under his protection. They enter into a DD/L relationship that is steamy! There's a lot of adventure and a learning curve for Eddie. A bit dark but Viktor and Eddie are great characters. Good support group. Nicely done. I look forward to more Zack Daddy stories. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Eddie's first impression of Victor is, he's scary. That thought turns into something else when Victor rescues him during a gunfight. The two find they have a lot in common being a little and a real daddy! Great book!.

Eddie is in the wrong place and sees someone try to kill Victor, one of the high ups in the mafia. Victor doesn't know why he saves Eddie, but he takes him with him. The time they're together they get to know each other and start to have feelings for each other. Victor knows he has to find out who tried to kill him to keep Eddie safe. I really enjoyed this book.

This is a Great Book to Read!! Viktor is trying to find out who betrayed him while keeping everyone alive. Eddie and Robbie come in to the rescue to help save the day and find Viktor and Ivan. Will their plan work??? Will Eddie Get his forever Daddy back????.
