It's no secret that Kelly Elliott is my go-to author. Each and every one of her books has touched me in some way. Broken Love is no different. This is book 4 in the Broken Series and is the story of Ryder and Ava.
This story is so unique for the fact alone that it started as a reader-write along, meaning Kelly would post a chapter and the readers decided where they wanted the story to go next and Kelly would write it. I opted to wait until the story was finished before sinking my teeth into it. I have to applaud Kelly because writing a story based on what readers decide can't be easy but she sure made it seem that way.
Broken Love is a beautiful story of love and fate. Add in the historical and mysterious aspects and this book is a page turner that you won't want to put down. Well done, Kelly! Another 5 star read.

Broken Love is book 4 in the Broken Series. This is Ava (Courtney & Reed's daughter) and Ryder's story. This was epically written because Kelly set this up on her website as a writer/reader write along where she wrote up to a point and then gave fans/readers a choice of where the story would go. I have never seen that and while it maybe didn't go in the direction of voted for it was still a wonderful story and it was so fun to be involved. I really liked the surprise elements of this story where the past is concerned and without giving anything away I think it added an extra depth to the story that was unexpected and really allowed book 4 to take a life of its own. Totally recommend!!!

This was a good read. Ava runs into Ryder one day and night. Then they see each other again but this time due to an injury they get to spend lots of time together. As they fall in love we see how much Ava and his deceased sister were alike. It was almost creepy but yet nice too.

I buy every book that Kelly Elliott writes as I just know I will love it. Ever since I read Wanted, Kelly has been my favourite author and I always count down the days until her next release.
This book was no exception. I really liked it but I had a few minor issues with the story. I love fast paced books and prefer the author to get straight into the story, however, I felt like the beginning of this story was a bit too rushed.
One minute Ava was engaged to Johnny but straight after he ended their relationship she met Ryder and felt something immediately. Shouldn't she have been more devastated that her fiancée had just left her?
I also felt like there wasn't much a build up with Ryder and Ava falling in love. I like to read about the tension and feelings from both POV's. I really enjoy reading about wanting and longing for each other before they can't wait any longer. Ava and Ryder were all very insta-love.
I quite enjoyed the historical element of this story. It reminded me a bit of Predestined Hearts, also co-written by Kelly Elliott. But when Ava found Kate's journal, why was she the one to read it? Kate wasn't even her family, yet she read something personal before even telling her family that she even found it.
The ending of this story was also a bit rushed and I think the wedding could have been detailed a lot better. Ryder and Ava both forgot their vows! Really? It could have been written a lot better because Kelly has a way of writing such swoon worthy romances!
One great thing about this book is the cover! All of Kelly's books have amazing covers, you just can't help but want to read them!

I think I get Blown away each time I read a new book by Kelly Elliott Author and BROKEN LOVE is no different. This story started out as a reader/author book. we read along the first part and she gave us the options for which way the story went. Then she took over after a while and gave us a story of Love, Loss, happiness and a Bond like know other. Ava just getting dumped by her ex- fiancee she literally runs in to a Handsome Stranger. That Mystery Man is none other then Sexy Ryder. Both are taken aback by each other. Luck would have them running into each other a few more times. What are the odds that faith would have them meet again at Ava's parents ranch. This is where their lives will never be the same again. With her family business wanting to go organic they visit the home of The Montgomery's in Montana which happens to be Ryder's home. We go on and adventure when Ava comes across an old family Bible and letters from The Montgomery ancestors. Ava uncovers the love that was shared from long ago and of a young love that was held in secret. I was drawn into this story my emotions every where but in a good way. I Love this story of pass and of now. Great Read.

Ava literally runs right into Ryder on the street after he fiance decides to tell her that he is no longer interested in marrying her. After a much needed night out Ava wakes up to a pot of coffee and only a few memories of what happened the night before. Ava doesn't have time to try and figure out what happened because she should've left a while ago to get to the family ranch to meet with the new people who are suppose to help her family with their ranch. When Ava finally meets these men she is stunned at who they are. Can she keeps things together until after the meeting to confront Ryder?
Ryder is in the middle of a business meeting at the Moore ranch when someone plows into him from behind when he turn around he can't believe his eyes. The one and only woman who ran into him on the street and knock all his papers out of his hands and then the same woman who he needed to rescue from the bar because she was to drunk to get home by herself. Ryder now knows this is his new clients daughter. And she looks pissed that he is standing is her families back yard.

This book was amazing! It started off on Kelly's website and readers were able to give feedback as to which direction it should go.
Kelly did an outstanding job on all of the characters in this book. If you haven't read the other three Broken series books you need to right now!
Ava & Ryder pretty much fall in love at first site. It is all the extra historical/mysterious things that made this book so unique! I wasn't guessing if they were going to stay together, I was trying to solve the puzzle right along with them!
Amazing, just like all of Kelly's other books.

Well I loved this book! It was so different from the others which I'm kind of glad as it added some new life into the series! I loved Ava and Ryder's story! But I must say the last 3 in the series they all moved super duper quick in their relationships! Why? I know the author was just proving the point that they all just knew they were the one for each other but hey you can know someone's the one and just want to be a new couple for a while right? Anyhoo the other thing that got me in this series- is why is everyone psychic!!! They all can feel someone watching them, or they can feel a presence in a room ect etc etc. ummmm weird! Ok one yea maybe believable but everyone! I dunno just too much over the top....
In a way I'm glad this story held its own and moved away from the ranch and llano and everyone there and I have to say I'm glad Ava and jase did not become a thing like I was worried they would because that would have been ott! But I dunno I did miss the previous stories memories being mentioned a little bit and would have wanted just a tiny bit more!

No cliffhanger

Editing errors throughout. A good book but needs better editing.
I have read every book by this author and while a lot of her books follow the same types of stories I find she always finds something new to add to them so they don't seem too alike. This book was no different.
Ava and Ryder meet when they accidentally run into each other on the sidewalk. While they both feel an instant attraction they both keep walking. Little do they know fate is definitely at play.
They not only see each other again at a club but run into each other a third time when Ryder comes to consult her family on making their farm more organic.
Sparks fly and while I don't want to give too much away you can rest assured it is hot!
Throw in a mystery, crazy coincidences that make you want to believe in ghosts and things get really interesting!
Overall another cute story from this author. While not my favorite in the series it is still a good read.
Can't wait to read Nate's story. Have a feeling Jennifer might be next though.

I enjoyed Ryder and Ava was ok
time line wise this story happens basically at the same time as Loving You (Jace and Taylor's story)
I'm not sure if I was ready to be done this this series and so the last two where hard for me to get through or if it was the story itself. I did enjoy the 'mystery' aspect of the story, it made it interesting for me. There were a few time a scene was set up and i expected something to come out of it and there was never a follow up on the conversation/incident.

Another wonderful addition to the Broken Series. This time it is Ava's story. Walking away from the man who just called off their wedding as they are picking out the cake it supposed to be an unhappy time. However, when Ava literally bumps into the man of her dreams her life takes an upturn. Falling in love with the right man is a scary time, but true love cannot be denied. Every single chapter made the book one of my all time favorites. Kelly Elliott always seems to take her readers on a journey that not only is better for her characters but for the readers as well.

Ava is one amazing young lady. She’s such a good combination of both her parents. And Ryder, he’s just, amazing too.
This book will make you laugh, snort from laughing, cry and ugly cry. But the love through it all and the happiness at the end is astonishing. There are so many thought and emotions that you will go through with this book it will leave you breathless.
Ms Kelly you done a great job. Now we just need to finish it off with Jase and everything will be completed.

Broken love is not broken
Kelly never disappoints! The Broken series is just as amazing as all her other work. Just be prepared once you start reading you won’t want to put the book down. Ava says some of the funniest things & Ryder is truly swoon worthy. Also, Nate just adds the perfect humor! I feel that we will see his own book in the future or at least I’m hoping!

She didn’t have any of the magic that her other books have I thought that the sex scenes were annoying but no I need them they help me fall in love with the characters and appreciate their relationships better. It just seemed a little lazy.

I had a hard time starting this book. But not long into the book it took a turn that I didn’t expect. It became more of a mystery and that kept me totally engrossed. I was so happy and stunned when I finished reading this one
