What a fun and satisfying conclusion to this story arc! I thoroughly enjoyed all the twists and turns of the plot and had a lot of fun with Max's antics. This volume has so much going on I was a little sad to see the ship's AI, Mal, take a backseat as that was one of my favorite side characters in previous volumes, but nonetheless, there were a lot of lovely moments in this story and despite disaster after disaster, it somehow all came together quite wonderfully for a very satisfying ending. I look forward to the possibility of Grady and the Professon continuing their adventures in the multiverse together, especially because the author's grasp of the science really helped me to immerse myself in the complexities of the story. I definitely appreciate that.

This series offers a solid and intriguing sci-fi adventure that I feel will appeal to readers who enjoy hard sci-fi, epic battles, and stories with alien contact (both friendly and unfriendly).
