10/11/2016 - Just as fantastic as the first time through. Love this book!

07/10/2016 - WOW!!! This is the best book I have read in a long time. There was something special that drew me in and refused to allow me to put it down, even for a moment, until I completed it. I was sad when this great love story ended. I wanted it to go on endlessly. I hope Amie is considering a sequel or series about the other characters we met in this great read, especially Roxanne's brother. It would be fantastic to b

This novel is definitely one of a kind! I was absolutely in stitches through the entire first chapter of this novel. Louellen captured my heart and my attention with this and kept it throughout this uniquely original tale. The story that she shares with her readers is simultaneously down to earth and thought provoking, while also being completely unbelievable at times. And not unbelievable in a ‘that would never happen’ way, but rather in an ‘oh my goodness, can you just picture it’ type of situ ...more

Read this pre-release and loved it. Two relatable, headstrong characters, hilarious situations and dialog, perfect setting, swoon-worthy hero, and a HEA to get behind. Seriously, great writing and story!

Southern Hospitality
by: Amie Louellen
I enjoyed this contemporary romance by Amie Louellen , and I caught myself laughing out loud a few times. I think she can write about any genes you would want. Yankee reporter Roxanne heads to Memphis, but her car breaks down in the middle of no where, a sleepy town in Jefferson County, Tennessee. She ends up being a suspect and arrested for murder. Her phone don't work in this out of the way town. Malcolm Daniels is assigned to be her attorney. Will he get h

Roxanne Ackerman's car breaks down and before she knows it she is a murder suspect! Malcolm Daniels has been assigned to be her attorney and must "babysit" her for the weekend while the jail is being fumigated. But sparks begin to fly between this unlikely pair. What will happen come Monday morning when Malcolm tries to get the charges dropped and Roxanne must return home? Amie Louellen is an expert at creating characters who the reader instantly falls in love with. Her stories are character-dri ...more

This is the first book I have read by Amie Louellen and I have to say I loved it!!!

Amie has a way of pulling you in to the story, making you feel as if you are part of the story.

This was a quick read for me and I so was not ready for the story to end.

Roxanne is a reporter for a tabloid magazine and she gets arrested for Murder, she is assigned lawyer Malcolm Daniels who is mighty handsome.

When something happens at the jail, Malcom has to find a place for Roxanne to stay for the weekend but ev

On her way to Memphis to cover an Elvis convention, Roxanne Ackerman’s car breaks down, leaving her stranded in Jefferson County, Tennessee. But a broken car is the least of her problems when she ends up arrested for murder and falling for her sexy southern lawyer!

With real and likable characters who’ve had their share of ups and downs in life, Southern Hospitality did not disappoint. I laughed so hard through the first chapter, I cried. I adore Roxanne! And Malcolm…what can I say, he’s on my fa

I loved this story, it was wonderful. Amie has such a way with words that you feel like you are part of the story. It just sucks you in.

Roxanne is a reporter for "I Spy" a tabloid newspaper and is on her way to Nashville when she gets lost. She ends up in a small town and arrested for murder. Malcolm is her lawyer, a very handsome lawyer.

When you add in Truman, Miss Bertie, Pierce, Lila and all the others you have a fun romance you will not be able to put down.

I gave a big ahhhhh when it ended a

Weird little book. Reads like a 1980's Harlequin, but with more sex. Ending completely over the top.

Yankee reporter, Roxanne Ackerman, leaves Chicago in lieu of Memphis to cover an Elvis convention. She gets lost along the way and ends up in Jefferson County, Tennessee, broken down, charged with murder and released on bail to her sexy, southern attorney, Malcolm B. Daniels IV.

This is one of those stories that everything that can go wrong, does. Filled with lot's of drama, you want to say "No, no, no" that can't happen, but in reality, it can and probably does. I laughed so hard at times, I cri

Another great Contemporary romance with suspense written by Amie Louellen. This book made me laugh a lot as well as shake my fist at the characters.Roxanne is a reporter heading to Memphis when her car breaks down in a Jefferson County, TN. Little did she know that she would become a suspect in a murder case. Poor Roxanne beside herself just didn't know what to do but she was determined to help find the killer. Murder and love in the south

A seemingly flighty reporter arrested for murder in backwoods Jefferson County. Too bad she refuses to confess, she says she got lost. Well, legal council doesn't believe her and he doesn't want to deal with her either. She's not part of his plan. He can't seem to stop thinking about her and now he's responsible for her. Can this possibly get worse?
Much worse apparently because it seems like everything is going very wrong and he may not make it past this weekend. All
