Good info, more basic that I was looking for. Most of the info I already knew, although it was good to review. The best part of his book is Kalish's support of raw dairy and raw butter (which is really thinks is a wonderful healing food) and other nourishing fats. I think his nutritional suggestions were right on the mark (except the protein seemed a bit low). However, he makes suggestions and doesn't really go into detail on how to implement them. My guess is that it is to encourage more phone consultations, which is not all together bad, but if you are going to write a book, I like action steps, how to information, specifics on products and labs (he did provide a brief, I mean brief list of sups in the back, but not what I was looking for). I would have given it 3 stars, but the promotion of raw butter and raw dairy pushed me to a 4.
