The book was not horrible the book just never done it for me, read with no excitement, really flat, and no matter how you spin it, it stayed flat...concept was there, but just never made it to the finish line...There are several surrogate books out, the best was by, Erosa Knowles Promises Kept...These two characters could not even seem to relate to each other so this my opinion, please make your final decision tompurchasevb
This is definitely how you do a short story. This was really a good read and worked so very well. The two main characters are so likable that you overlook what brings them together. There is romance at work here, because often in these stories they go right for the jugular. That is not the case here, well written and executed. This is a sexy romance at its best.I would love to see more of Zane and Ciara in a lengthy story.
I liked the storyline. But the description of the heroine kept changing from milk chocolate to dusky. I would like to see more of this couple from before up until the time they get together.
I am a sucker for love stories!! I loved the story plot especially when the attitudes towards their interracial love came to the surface, it made the love between Zane & Ciara that more realistic. I'm ready for part 2!!
I enjoyed reading Billionaire's Black Surrogate: BWWM Romance, all about Ciara Blunt & Zane Maddox who meet after she pass's a variety of tests to become his surrogate baby momma. You see an ad was placed in Craig's-list looking for a young women who was willing to play as a girlfriend to a billionaire in exchange for a child and one million dollars for a three month period. Ciara called the number because her mother need some specialized medical care and the back medical bills were killing her. So she called, and became a surrogate to a thirty year old billionaire. The author wrote a very interesting story, and the characters made the story come to life. Read this book it will make you laugh, cry, sigh, shake your head and cum a lot! I enjoyed reading part one and can't wait to read part two!
This is a corny, cliched mess. There is zero personality in the characters, zero chemistry between the MCs and zero plot in the story.
The writing also seemed very juvenile, and like the author was just recounting a story instead of creating a story. The dialogue was also whack. If a woman comes up to you talking crap like 'you ain't nothing', 'you're fat', 'you're unworthy of your man', 'you're a gold-digger' AND she has some racial prejudices underlying her slurs.... I think you would say more than 'Stop being crummy'. Like, what?! Oh and she took a swing at you! 'Crummy' doesn't cut it and it made the female MC seem real weak and unrealistic.
It came to a point where I started skimming and skipping parts of the story because I was bored and just wanted to finished. This was unrealistic, fairy tale dribble. I would SKIP this, even though its free on KU.
Love it from start to finish. Ciara was a tough no nonsense type of woman who gave as good as she got. Zane was a straight up alpha male who started off being distant and aloof. With trouble making divas in the mix. The book was a very hot and excellent read. I highly recommend and would love to see more of them.
This was an interesting and romantic book. Ciarra enters into a surrogate contract with Zack who needs an heir. As time progresses, she gets pregnant, they fall in love, get engaged and plan a wedding. Of course there is a jealous woman involved who tries to sabotage the relationship. I recommend this book to all who love romance books.
I loved this short story. I want to know more about Zane and how he became who he is today. My girl Ciara I loved her personality. Too many times the women are written to let people walk over them because they want the man they have. However Ciara is not having that. Can't wait to start the next book.
I would recommend this book to anybody who is looking for an entertaining quick read that takes its time to deliver a good love story. The characters Zane and Ciara are likable from beginning to end. Deserves a 4 star rating.
I did not like the book, it was slow and confusing. The writing style was nothing what I thought it would be. I like to read books where something like this might happen. This however would never happen in real life.
