This is a great beginner reader introducing children to Noodles, the dog. Wow, he has a full busy day playing in the snow! On this day, Noodles chases other animals, catches snowflakes on his tongue, makes a snow angel, slides down a hill and befriends an animal in need. This book offers problem solving, ideas to play in the snow and kindness to others!

This easy reader would have worked for us better if dog or puppy was mentioned and used as a word. My daughter is learning objects and I think that if It was Puppy loves the snow it would have worked.

Here in Eastern North Carolina we get snow some years and some we do not, so the children find it exciting. I save my children's book about snow for January, when we are most likely to have snow. I Love Snow features Noodles the dog as he plays in the snow and does all the things children like to do when it snows, like make a snow angel and slide down a hill. It is a good easy reader for beginning readers and a good story for young children to start discussions about playing in the snow. The pictures are attractive for young children and they enjoy this simple story.

This is a basic but very nicely written storybook. A young reader could learn to read from this book having only three to four words per page. Noodle the puppy loves the snow and everything that comes with it! He finds a hungry friend and helps him out showing friendship. Illustrations and simple storyline makes a nice beginner book.

This isn't a particularly exciting book to read. Because it's a beginning reader book it's easy to translate into a foreign language as you. (I do this for my daughter because I have trouble finding kids books in my native tongue).

This book tells the story of a dog, named Noodles, who loves to play in the snow. On this particular day, Noodles makes snow angels, chases other animals, and helps a hungry raccoon get some food. I like that Hans Wilhelm puts rhyming words at the end of the book for children to learn.

This book seemed ideal for first grade. It's something most could read AND wasn't so dull like some other books I know they make them read. And it actually feels like a book. Talks about fluency in the end but the book had good pictures and was entertaining that even I didn't notice.

This is a cute story for beginning readers. It is about a young puppy who loves to play in the snow and does all there is to do in the snow. Kids will love this story and get some great ideas to play outside in the snow.

Finally, Alice loves her school library books again. I think I've read this one 100 times in the past week, at least. A very fun level 1 reading book with a puppy playing in the snow.
