Even though Gwen wasn’t in love with her last boyfriend, Mac, she’s still smarting by being dumped by him and then having him run off and get married immediately after. She’s having the worst birthday ever until she gets enough liquid courage in her to go after the neighbor she’s been ogling for months, Dominic. Knocking on his door and taking what she wants for once leads to a steamy physical relationship, but there’s something different about Dominic and her heart becomes hopelessly e

Normally I adore the Danvers series,  but something about this book completely irked me.  I was ready to DNF even at the 94% mark but thought I should be able to power through the last 6%. Thankfully I did as that was the most enjoyable part but statistically that's not a good percentage to like versus not like.

I just loved the two characters, Gwen and Dominic. After her tragic romance with Mac ending so bad I really thought there would be any hope for Gwen at all. Although Dominic was best buds with Mac both of them realised that they had a chance of getting to know each other better.

I really enjoyed this book so much. After loving the entire series and knowing each and every person that I so enjoyed this and every book of the series. A lot of romance and fun for all!!

I really liked this book in the Danvers series. It had a lot of heart. And I laughed so many times. Megan & Maddy were just too funny. I also really liked seeing the romance develop between Gwen and Dominic. Bring on the next one. Based on the excerpt in the back it looks promising.

This book was really funny. Dominic being the romantic one really had my heart. I can say that this book also kept my cracking up with Megan & Maddie. The things that came from their mouth would make any parent want to duck and find the nearest wall to hide behind. All-in-all I enjoyed it

This book was awesome.....great job Sydney Landon. I would love to know where the authors get the ideas for some of their characters because some of the characters in this book were off the charts funny. Gwen is down on love because she can't seem to keep a man long enough to get a relationship off the ground. Dominic fell for Gwen at first sight & seeing her around their apartment complex & the office building they both work in has him all tied up. She was dating his best friend until h ...more

Gwen and Mac have been dating for a while and their relationship has yet to get past 2nd base. Gwen is getting fed up with Mac's lack of interest in sex with her. Mac has had a thing since childhood for Ana though Ana is seeing someone else but when that relationship falls apart Mac drops Gwen like a hot potato and pursues Ana and marries her in a couple of short months. Dominic and Mac roommates, Dominic has been crushing on Gwen for as long as Mac has been dating her. Gwen has been watching Do ...more

This was my first Sydney Landon romance (Jess at Bc reviews and recommended series), but I was able to jump in mid-series and enjoy. Kudos to Landon for that! Liked Gwen, and Dom was a fun, alpha hero I could get on board with easily. To a newcomer it was insta-lust but apparently this was brewing a while and Gwen had just suffered a humiliating break up in book 6, so I was rooting for her.

I did enjoy this story, it had some really funny moments, especially when Gage was around and Shannon's daughters Megan & Maddy were hilarious too, plus it had some hot moments between Gwen and Dominic which I really enjoyed, however I did get a bit frustrated with them at times, especially when they sought out there friends opinions or jumped to conclusions about each other rather than talking things out. Even though it made the overall story more realistic, it did start to bug me!! but I w ...more

I'm a big fan of Danvers series and I don't know I completely forgot Gwen was in the last book lol. So it was a pleasant surprise when I saw she was the heroine. The whole gang is in this book and it was great to see them. The familiarity with the characters is there, banter was free flowing and so were the hilarious antics. I did feel like if you hadn't read the previous books you would miss out on how everything fits together.
Gwen and Dom have a fast-moving romance. While I like insta-love, D

I really liked the first couple of books in this series, but then the books just devolved. I've continued reading the series because of my fondness of those first books, but each time, I wonder why I continue. BUT this book is back to the fun of the first few books! I really liked this one. Granted, I felt the ending could have used a bit of finessing, but the rest of the book is so strong, I will forgive that.

I admittedly skimmed a few parts of this book, because I just couldn't handle the cheesiness. I love a happy ending, but there was zero conflict in this book and the characters were waaayyy to perfect to be real. Just bland and dull all around.

It was ok. I was actually enjoying the story until we hit the forced, romantic angst portion. No communication, assumptions, misunderstandings, meh. Ended up just being an ok read.

Ugh, this book was so disappointing and that just makes me really sad. I was so looking forward to Dominic's story because he was such a great character in the last book and I loved everything about the sexy, funny and tough guy. I even liked that he was a softie in the beginning of this one and that he was so caring and devoted to Gwen.

What I hated was Gwen. She started out as a great character for me. I was rooting for her after the whole Mac debacle and wanted to see her find her HEA. I was

Ok, so Dominic and Gwen. There is definitely chemistry and the way they connect at the beginning was the best part of the book. From that point on, the book became so boring. There was no reason to keep reading. The only conflict was regarding whether or not she was pregnant, which just wasn't enough to keep me reading.

Dominic & Gwen
THE BEST ONE YET!

Just when you think the Danvers series can't get any better, Sydney puts out a new brilliant book. This one seemed even more edgy and racy than any of it's predecessors. Normally I would categorize the Danvers into the Contemporary Romance genre, sometimes even Suspense, but holy hell, this one could easily be looped in the Erotic genre also! Oh. So. Damn. Hot.

Dominic has been on my radar for quite some time. I don't know exactly w

Wonderful. Again

Anyone else want to head to Myrtle Beach? Thanks to Sydney Landon's Watch Over Me, another drop-dead gorgeous hottie has just been happily snagged by his perfect match. Doesn't mean I don't want to head there with a high-tech camera.

Dominic Brady. There hasn't been one man since Weekends Required that hasn't captured my heart, and okay, done a little more than that. This ex-Military, delectable specimen with talented fingers loves. Loves his family. Loves to cook. Loves his job.

Another fantastic book by Sydney Landon. She did a phenominal job and now I have to wait for the next one already. Boo, but in the meantime let me tell you a little about why this was such a fabulous book.

Gwen had the unfortuante timing of being someone's rebound or in her case, make someone jealous relationship. She's still reeling from that a little bit when she decides she's going to chuck all her self-preservation out the door and make her hot as hell neighbor, her hot as hell one night stan

I'm starting to feel like a broken record, but yet again the Danvers bring to me to my knees. This time though, we swing slightly left field and into the world of East Coast security and the 3 alphas who own it. We had met McKinley (Mac) during Always Loving You, and now it is Dominic's turn.

Dom has had a crush for the girl next door for months, but when best Friend Mac started seeing her he knew he had to let it go, that was until his previous love wanted him back. So he hatched a plan with Ava

I was given this book for my honest review

“Whoa, darling, hold still before you break your neck,” said a husky voice right before a set of strong hands encircled her hips—her naked hips. “You’re going to bruise this beautiful body, and I’ll be forced to like it better.” Dominic

Dominic-hot and so so sexy

Gwen-pretty and very smart

This is book #7 in the Danver’s and can be read as a stand alone

*Minor spoilers, 0 if you have read the blurb for book 8*

I have been a fan of the Danvers series for a little over 1 and a half years. I didn't remember Dom and Gwen to be honest, but the author explains in the beginning who they are, so I was able to continue with the book quite easily. I remembered Ava and Mac's story and the fact that I wanted Crystal and Gage to be together. I was glad that Gwen, Dom, Ava and Mac were able to work things out eventually. The part about Gage and Crystal disapp

Sydney has done it yet again! You were introduced to Gwen when she briefly dated Mac. You knew that she didn't belong with him and you were just waiting for the break up. Dom sat in the background having wanted Gwen since the first time he saw her. Problem Mac is his best friend! When things fizzled between Gwen and Mac, Dom told him he was going after her. Thing is Gwen made the first move thanks to alcohol courage. They hit it off from that time UNTIL....Gwen started backing off because she wa ...more
