I read Life With Unix in the mid 1990s. I still own a copy and I suppose you could still find some value in the book. At the time I read the book I learned a lot, I had just discovered Unix. There are some bits of history in the book that some might find interesting. For it's time the book was awesome and it spurred my enjoyment with Unix.
A Unix manual for the underworld...or something. This is the Unix manual that will tell you all the things the others won't. Worth reading to all those who use Unix or one of it's many childer... Also a good reference for Unix folklore.
