This is a gentle guided journaling experience. The book is visually so appealing you easily feel like what you are writing is sacred. Thought provocking topics and creative exercises. This is the type of guided journal that you can do twice a year, once a month or weekly. Beautiful and powerful.

"Journal to the Soul is a beautiful interactive, a unique mixture of self-help and art meant to inspire each reader to capture the sacred journey of his or her life."

This book provides beautiful illustrations and borders to accompany your writing. Some of the journal prompts are fairly simple:

"Write a thank-you note to God, your higher power, or life. Express your gratitude. It is said that whatever we are grateful for increases in our lives."

Some of the journal prompts encourage you to dig deep:

"Write about your dark side- the parts of yourself you don't want anyone to know about, the parts you try to hide from yourself and others."

There is plenty of space to write, with some prompts providing a few extra blank pages. A great journal for beginners or for those who want to explore some sensitive areas (money, parents, etc.) in a gentle and safe place.
