The hulking dominance of cartoonists seem to be=
"Cat People"=
Confirmed loners=
So they can't handle responsibilities necessary to own a dog=
Because they must give too much of themselves=
It's too much interaction that's not when they want/need it.
A cat person can have 50 felines -but not one dog- because the cats don't "need" them too much.
* There are MANY cat owners that aren't "cat people"
