The artwork in this series is on another plane. Every page feels like a centerpiece — layered, detailed, savage, and seriously beautiful. Liam Sharpe is doing heavy lifting with the mood and sheer scope. The design work, the lighting, the environments — all of it feels massive and meticulously crafted.
The story, though, isn’t landing for me the way those first issues did. I’m having to concentrate more to keep everyone and everything straight within the broader conflict. The ingredients are there, but this installment felt more like repositioning pieces than delivering a major push forward.
5⭐️ art, no question.
