Bride's Bay Resort
If walls could speak, what tales of passion, adventure and intrigue would they tell?
Bride's Bay Resort: A luxurious playground with a colourful past and a romantic present! Generations of Jermains have catered to the rich and famous at their exclusive, family-owned hotel. Check in each month as love unfolds at Bride's Bay.
Madeline Hopewell, if that's her real name has no memory of who she is or why she's in a Charleston hospital. Her husband, if that's who Adam Hopewell is, wants to take her to the resort where they spent their honeymoon ten years ago. He's hoping she'll recall some of the wonderful times they shared there.
Does Bride's Bay hold the key to Maddy's memory and to the nightmares that haunt her? Maddy knows Adam is counting on this and more.
Among other things, he's hoping she'll remember how much she used to love him!
Constance Bennett wrote also as Connie Bennett. She lives in Tornado Alley and is certainly accustomed to the threat of tornadoes, that also she included in some novels.
4 Stars! ~ Maddy wakes in the hospital with a excruciating headache and no recall as to who she is. Someone tried to run her down in a parking garage. Adam claims to be her husband, and he wants to take her to Bride's Bay in the hopes that she'll remember their life together. It's obvious to Maddy that Adam loves her, yet she can't seem to let her guard down with him.
Maddy can't seem to push the thoughts that there is more to this stay at Bride's Bay than a trip down memory lane. She can't shake the sense of danger, and that the President's holiday at Bride's Bay may have something to do with it.
This was very well written. Suspense, action, intrigue, and romance too. I'm glad this was written as a superromance. It gave Ms. Bennett the opportunity to resolve all the issues surrounding Maddy and Adam in a most satisfying way.
