Why this book so heavily revolved around Laney leaves me at a loss. She was a grade-A hypocrite and everyone allowed her childish behavior just cos. She didn't deserve everyone walking on eggshells for her (view spoiler) She let Jenna feel enormous amounts of guilt for an entire year and when everything was said and done and all of Laney's dark came to light everyone was so quick to forgive and for

The third book in the North Star Series, this is the book fans have been waiting for. Jenna and Kellen’s path to love has not been easy. Their history is messy, emotional and full of heartache and betrayal. Despite all their ups and downs, Jenna and Kellen have finally found each other. Now, they must prove they have each other’s backs and fight to stay together, fight their demons and fight to really see what lies beneath the surface.

I had to wait almost 2 weeks to read this and it nearly killed me.
We finally get to see Jenna and Kellen be together. Although it's not as easy as it should be. Kellen still hasn't faced his history and its affecting their relationship. Throwing in the fact that he's meeting his family and learns some uncomfortable truths about his mother and it's a rollercoaster of emotions.
Jenna is still feeling guilty and Laney isn't making it any better. I never quite understood why Jenna allowed Laney to t ...more

I might be biased because I love everything Tracey Ward has written (I seriously told her I would be happy to even read her grocery list)...but this series and especially this book get 5 stars from me!
I love that we finally get to dive in to the heart and soul of all that is Kellan, his past, present and future. Reading as Jenna slowly and cautiously peels back layers and Kellan tries with all that he has to let her in and to love her the way he feels she deserves to be loved is heart wrenching. ...more

5 stars!
Oh my! Just a few days ago I re-read Knockout and Brawler and was eagerly waiting for the third book in this series. I read somewhere that it was supposed to be published on September 17th, but then I saw Madeline Sheehan announce on her Facebook page that Ringside was live YESTERDAY and I was so excited to read it! The final book in the NorthStar Trilogy by Tracey Ward made me both cry and laugh uncontrollably. An amazing ride with a delicate balance between heart-rending and humorous moments and characters. It's been hard to write a review because I have no idea how to put how much this book affected me into real words. The love story between Jenna and Kellen isn't conventional, it is hard fought for and hard won by and Ward has done a masterful job makin ...more

This is one of my favorite book couples by far!
Kellan & Jenna just made sense together...
Kellan coming to grips the best he could involving his time in foster care,
Jenna's selfless patience all throughout their journey.
yet i thoroughly despised Laney & her "Kardashian-esque" self entitled personality.

✨5 Stars✨-Amazing (couldn't put the book down-dangerous addiction),
A WOW OF A READ
Book written in dual POV; This is a 3 part series; book 1 written in Jenna's POV, Book 2 is not a continuation but a replay of book 1 but filling in the gaps written in Kellen's POV, so there is new information it's not all just a repeat leading to this one, book 3, a conclusion to what more becomes of this story. More questions are answered and loose ends are cleaned up for us readers.

*** Starts a few months before the airport and surprise proposal at the end of book 1 & 2*****
Finally, we got to see Kellen have his breakthroughs, face his demons, visit people he has never knew about, speak with a man from his past and be the man he always wanted to be before the dark. Remember the coma well he will remember things when someone he never met will trigger his mind and getting the truth. Surprise Surprise! I actually love this.
This book took a turn for the best.
What can I say?
I'm glad I didn't give up on this series.
I've finally warmed up to this couple. Though I liked them both before individually separated. But now they seem real nice together.
Tracey Ward I'm sorry for ever doubting you. ...more

Bravo!! I can't put into words how much I loved the North Star series! Each book was brilliantly written. I loved everything from the beginning in Knockout to learning about Kellen in Brawler and getting a chance to witness Kellen and Jenna coming together in Ringside. I cried, laughed, yelled, and cried again in Ringside. I felt the progression between Kellen and Jenna was just so believable by expressing all of their heart ache and pain. I waited so long to finally get a chance to read the las

Same channel, same characters, but we finally get some new information. It's not your typical ending--the characters' problems don't all go away. I just wish that sister did. She's a one-dimensional evil through three books. It isn't clear why the main character keeps walking into her traps, right up to the closing scene.
Despite one-dimensional characters and poor editing, the author managed to pack a lot into this book. She could have done her readers a favor and spread some of it around, like ...more

3.5 stars. I love this indie author's writing. I love her funny, realistic characters who remind me of people I know, or people I want to know and hang out with. Kellen and Jenna are characters I feel I've known for a long time. Their beginnings are pretty awesome. Pretty intense. These books can be stand-alones but until you have invested a little emotionally into these characters this book will seem a little like you've missed something. I like closure, I like when things come full circle in a

This was my favorite in the set!! The way it was written was better, more solid in my opinion. The scenarios were just amazing, realistic, and flawlessly presented. Tripe to Ireland? amazing!!! The foit, the family dynamics, the accents... brilliant! Well done Tracey! This is a novel I will likely read again and again because it just... Spoke to me and helped me through some of my own demons. A plus plus!

Awesome ending to great series!
Really loved this series although I couldn't read the first to books back to back. Wait a week it gives it a better perspective on Kellen without that sense of de ja vu. Love books that really aren't cookie cutter and speak to the growth of the self. Check this series out and Tracy's other books if you are looking for something with some meat to it. ...more

This book helps tie up some of the harsh situations in the previous books. I couldn't get up the nerve to read knockout after reading Brawler, but this book was dual POV so I was able to get Jenna's thoughts in this book.
I really needed (ok wanted) an epilogue. I want to see everyone is okay in the years to come. Also wondering if there's a story for Callum and Sam. Those two left me with questions... ...more
