Why this book so heavily revolved around Laney leaves me at a loss. She was a grade-A hypocrite and everyone allowed her childish behavior just cos. The third book in the North Star Series, this is the book fans have been waiting for. Jenna and Kellen’s path to love has not been easy. Their history is messy, emotional and full of heartache and betrayal. Despite all their ups and downs, Jenna and Kellen have finally found each other. Now, they must prove they have each other’s backs and fight to stay together, fight their demons and fight to really see what lies beneath the surface.

You can’t help but fall for the tortured Kellen. Despite the bad boy persona, he is simply a man who wants to feel worthy of love and be able to give the one person who understands him better than anyone, the love she deserves. Kellen needs to learn to let Jenna in. He wants to be the person who loves her wholeheartedly and if Kellen is to be that man, he needs to come to terms with his tragic past to give Jenna a future. Jenna is amazingly supportive of Kellen. She understands him like no one else ever has. She is perfect for him. She is such a passionate and honest character. She proves to Kellen he deserves someone who doesn’t run, someone who cherishes him and the love they share.

I still couldn’t bring myself to like Laney in this book! At times we see glimpses of the sister Jenna loves, but most of the time I wanted to give her a right hook so she would just stop whinging and give Jenna and Kellen’s relationship a chance. I loved meeting Callum again, he’s hilarious and I adored Kellen’s Irish family. Their scenes showed Kellen how a real family loves.
Tracey Ward writes amazing characters. They’re complex, flawed and real. Their dialogue captures the intimacy and honesty in their relationships. I feel like I’m listening in on a private conversation and seeing a side to them the outside world doesn’t get the privilege to see. In the end, they know what it means to follow what your heart really wants, and needs. This is exactly why Kellen and Jenna’s relationship will have you cheering for them from start to finish.

I had to wait almost 2 weeks to read this and it nearly killed me.
We finally get to see Jenna and Kellen be together. Although it's not as easy as it should be. Kellen still hasn't faced his history and its affecting their relationship. Throwing in the fact that he's meeting his family and learns some uncomfortable truths about his mother and it's a rollercoaster of emotions.

I might be biased because I love everything Tracey Ward has written (I seriously told her I would be happy to even read her grocery list)...but this series and especially this book get 5 stars from me!
I love that we finally get to dive in to the heart and soul of all that is Kellan, his past, present and future. Reading as Jenna slowly and cautiously peels back layers and Kellan tries with all that he has to let her in and to love her the way he feels she deserves to be loved is heart wrenching. ...more

Oh my! Just a few days ago I re-read Knockout and Brawler and was eagerly waiting for the third book in this series. I read somewhere that it was supposed to be published on September 17th, but then I saw Madeline Sheehan announce on her Facebook page that Ringside was live YESTERDAY and I was so excited to read it! Tracey Ward delivers again, and I'm happy that there are such great "Life is like a boxing match. Defeat is not declared when you fall, but when you refuse to stand again."

Oh my! Just a few days ago I re-read Knockout and Brawler and was eagerly waiting for the third book in this series. I read somewhere that it was supposed to be published on September 17th, but then I saw Madeline Sheehan announce on her Facebook page that Ringside was live YESTERDAY and I was so excited to read it! Tracey Ward delivers again, and I'm happy that there are such great books in this world!

I'm not sure whether there will be more books about these characters, but so far the story was wrapped up well, and the story arch was believable and multidimensional. The book was still a fairly light and funny read, and I was so happy for Jenna & Kellen! They had fun moments, sweet moments, devastating moments and quite a few other moments, and in every one of those the author managed to convey the characters love for each other. Their fighting spirit. Jenna and Kellen are fighters, brawlers - pretty much ballers.

I enjoyed following Kellen's journey to find himself and the things that make him happy, and likewise with Jenna. It's always a joy to read about characters who take their lives into their own hands and built them and deal with what they're given. It's uplifting and much needed, for me at least. There are way too many people in this world who have trouble being brave, so it's nice to have some reminders every once in a while, even when they are fictional.

I still didn't like Laney very much, and at times I was confused how little Dan sometimes seemed to care about what was happening under his nose, but then again, I kind of would prefer it if I could make my own mistakes without anyone commenting on them so keenly, so I guess I'd actually really like Dan's approach to parenthood. He was there when he was needed, but he didn't butt into every conversation and life-decision the girls made.

I'd sort of like to know more about Kellen's family though, both the Irish one and about his father, but I think the basics were covered and the characters felt real. Although, I'm still curious about Mason as well. Why he's ambidextrous and so on.

Anyway, Ringside is a great story about love and loyalty, commitment to growth. Read it! ...more

Kellan & Jenna just made sense together...
Kellan coming to grips the best he could involving his time in foster care,
Jenna's selfless patience all throughout their journey.

Book written in dual POV; This is a 3 part series; book 1 written in Jenna's POV, Book 2 is not a continuation but a replay of book 1 but filling in the gaps written in Kellen's POV, so there is new information it's not all just a repeat leading to this one, book 3, a conclusion to what more becomes of this story. More questions are answered and loose ends are cleaned up for us readers.

Bravo!! I can't put into words how much I loved the North Star series! Each book was brilliantly written. I loved everything from the beginning in Knockout to learning about Kellen in Brawler and getting a chance to witness Kellen and Jenna coming together in Ringside. Same channel, same characters, but we finally get some new information. It's not your typical ending--the characters' problems don't all go away. I just wish that sister did. She's a one-dimensional evil through three books. It isn't clear why the main character keeps walking into her traps, right up to the closing scene.

This was my favorite in the set!! The way it was written was better, more solid in my opinion. The scenarios were just amazing, realistic, and flawlessly presented. Tripe to Ireland? amazing!!! Awesome ending to great series!

Really loved this series although I couldn't read the first to books back to back. Wait a week it gives it a better perspective on Kellen without that sense of de ja vu. This book helps tie up some of the harsh situations in the previous books. I couldn't get up the nerve to read knockout after reading Brawler, but this book was dual POV so I was able to get Jenna's thoughts in this book.

I really needed (ok wanted) an epilogue. I want to see everyone is okay in the years to come. Also wondering if there's a story for Callum and Sam. Those two left me with questions... ...more
