*laughs, shaking head* Read this shorty-but-goodie last night and yup, as always, Brad Vance at his finest. Superbly written and gloriously delivered. Could hear Nick's voice so perfectly in my head, see the exchange between him and Kyle like I was right freaking there. Nick was fantastic. So bad I wanted put him over my knee and spank the crap out of him. No, really, i really did love him! Brad put just the right amount of pervy kink to the story to push the boundaries but not go over board. Awesome little ditty. My only qualm? Way too short. Wanted another hang out session between those two! So glad Brad's making a series out of this one, 'cause it hit the mark big time.

Review of Books 1 and 2

This is my second foray into Brad Vance Erotica (not to be confused with Brad Vance Romance). I've read the first two short books and, like my feelings when I read Luke's Brutal Abduction - The Whole Story, the fun the author has writing these definitely comes through when reading.
While the sex is unapologetically raw, filthy and somewhat degrading to Kyle (who is far from complaining), you can already see the affection Nick has for him underneath it all. Aside from the smutty sex, Brad Vance managed to set up the backgrounds of the two men and develop them enough to save it from being a PWP throwaway and have me hoping that one of them is willing to change their plans before their summer is over.

Dam, that was HOT !!
Well done to the Author for managing to give you a back story and create 2 very likable characters in Nick and Kyle, in what was a ridiculously short 'book'....read in 20 minutes
Was totally getting into it, when the story just stopped at 57% !!....a real pet hate of mine
Having said that, the writing was very good and I would definitely be interested in reading more about these 2 if the book was longer

So wrong it's right. Nick is one arrogant asshole but this was a bloody damn kinky hot short story so I guess that's OK (he had me when Kyle sniffed the jockstrap - it's my weakness). I'm assuming there'll be more entries to this series - if my good friends and kind contributors to my shorty-porns collection (Hmm, shall I start a shelf by this name? Will goodreads allow it? Can I be bothered?) get them I'll read them but I'm not planning on rushing to purchase unless they're under a pound.

March 30, 2015From my understanding, Brad has two styles of writing ... erotica (of which this story is an example) and romance ... this was my first taste of Brad's writing in either style and I have to admit that it's not my thing ... now, before I get a slew of abusive PM's, I did read the warnings and I was aware of the content ... my issue isn't the graphic nature of the sex but the fetish it represents ... humiliation as part of kink just doesn't do it for me ... I'm not judging, I'm not giving a puritanical condemnation, I'm just stating a fact ... now that I've had a taste of Brad's erotica, I'll probably avoid it unless a blurb specifically indicates that it is a different fetish than this series is likely to explore ... having said the above, I do think Brad's writing style is something I'd enjoy reading so I'm going to give some of his fluffier stuff a go ... because the story was written well, I would normally rate it ★★★★ ... because GR has a rating system based on enjoyment, I'm leaving the rating blank because I didn't actually like it but I don't want to skew the ratings negatively because objectively, I can see it's a good example of what it is.

This was pretty much as I expected...a hot naughty little read. But severely hate when a book ends at the 55% mark and the rest is taken up by snippets from other titles. This was incredibly short, which I don't have an issue with. Just don't make me feel like I still have half the book to read when the story suddenly ends.

Well, this one didn't do shit for me. Usually forceful guy-on-guy action is enough to at least pique my interest, but this was just...empty. It maybe could've been hot if I didn't feel like things ended right as they should have been beginning...? Maybe? In any case, it was a waste of a dollar for me.

Maybe I'm biased but this story was exactly what I needed. I'm constantly amazed by how much back story and character development Brad can fit into such a short story. Everything about this was perfectly executed. Of course I want to check up on these two in a few years. So hot!!!

Nick definitely had a very strong personality. He liked things to go his way... Always!!
His sexual appetite...
hmmm... For me... Was a little out there!!!..lol
Ughhhh...
The spitting was a bit too much for me... (Thank god... There was no peeing!!..lol Yes... I've seen it before... Just not into it.)
Kyle... He seemed to be a clean cut kid that was looking for a little excitement. Which was ok. He definitely found it in his stepbrother!...lol

But I felt the author really captured the dominance of Nick. And the innocence of Kyle.
Kyle wanting a big brother was throwing me off a bit. Because the stuff he was doing with Nick was not brotherly at all. (there is no blood relations in them at all. They are stepbrothers by marriage only.) I just thought that was kind of weird.
Oh boy... Can't imagine what book 2 will bring!!...lol

This is my first read from Brad Vance.
I enjoyed the story, the sex was hot. Loved Nick and his dominant aggressive attitude. Kyle is submissive and willing to please his big brother any way he can. Great chemistry. My only complaint is it was way too short! Would love more time with these two, just as I was getting into the read, connecting with the characters it was over.

This is a hot little quickie and interesting start to a new series.
We meet Kyle, a young man who has just not been able to find the right kind of guy to be with. Everyone so far has been just a bit too prim and proper. But, Kyle has a new stepbrother, Nick, who is not real happy with his father’s new family, resulting in his moving away.
Kyle learns a few things about Nick though when he finds some of Nick’s things in the garage. Things that lead him to believe Nick is exactly the kind of guy he’s looking for. When a chance encounter brings these two together, we get to see it all play out.
This is a super fast read. The boys don’t take very long to get going, and it seems as though they know each other one minute, but haven’t had much contact in the next. Either way, Kyle is ready to take whatever Nick is willing to dish out. What we were shown so far was really hot, but I am worried it has the potential for disaster. Hopefully that isn’t the case, and I’m hoping we don’t have to wait too long to find out. I’m looking forward to getting a bit more into Nick and Kyle’s heads as we see more of them together. Bring on book 2!

Short and smutty. I liked Kyle, not too sure about Nick, yet. This was like a porn clip but with decent dialogue. If you're easily offended and/or can't separate reality from fiction, might not be for you. I personally don't like dominance and submission in real life, but in fiction, with fictional characters, then it's down to the writing style. Brad Vance seems to have the kind of writing style I enjoy even if the topic isn't normally what I go for.
This is great when you want something quick and naughty.
****Edit*** After reading all 6 parts, I have to say this gets better as it goes on because Kyle and Nick's relationship evolves from purely sexual to something that's sweeter, which was a pleasant surprise. It's a really fun (smutty) series overall for those times when you need a quick fix.

Great Story of two stepbrothers who meet for the first time at the ages of 18 and 21. The oldest brother, Nick, being a dominant and Kyle, being more of a submissive. It's a great story of the beginning of a bond between the two even though it was through Hot Sex. The two giving each other what they both needed and wanted. Some may think this relationship is perverse, but it actually is something beautiful. Brad did a great job in portraying the feelings through the story line with two awesome characters.
