It’s always easy to say what one should have or could have done to change the events in their life, but what happens when it's too late? When the damage is already done? Do I just give up? It’s hard to see a way out when I am lost in a sea of pain and have to face the realization that a chain of bad choices put me in my present state.

I’ve always believed I was a fighter,

Twisted Love is the continuation of the Twisted series. To get the full experience and to completely understand the plot, you must read Bitter Sweet Love first. This was the resolution to the angsty, love triangle between Luc, Dylan and Alexis. I wouldn't recommend reading this review until you read book 1 as there will be some spoilers from the first book.

Starting with the gut wrenching cliffhanger of Bittersweet Love, Alexis is in the hospital recovering from Luc's attack. As she's re

This is and will always be the series of books that stole my heart
I have to have to say I'm bit jealous of Lexi but she got her happy ending and the book was amazing.
This will be the series of the year for me ... It was addictive,heart-wrenching,real and perfect.

Twisted Love is the second book in the Twisted series, following our wonderful main character Alexis White and her crazy life.

This book was a bit of a step down from the first book in my opinion. While they were both written in similar styles I felt like the first book was more wild and entertaining while this book was more grown up and slow. In the first novel we saw Alexis living the university life and dealing with relationship drama. In this book we see the aftermath, which means Alexis mak

Received a copy via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review....

I read the first book of this series and thought it was ok enough for me to want to read the second book especially since the cliff hanger. This book however I was extremely bored with and I had a really hard time reading through it. it really dragged on and the storyline was predictable and dull. If I were you I wouldn't waste my time with this book!!!!!!

This was my favourite out of the series so far. The story continued about Alexis's love triangle and post-abuse experience. I think this was more emotional and raw than the last book.

Alexis is a broken girl who has a horrible past. When I read about the abuse she suffered as a child, I felt her pain. She never opened her heart to anyone till Dylan came into her life. She is now suffering a lose of her and Dyl

I was given this book for an honest review.

This book is the follow up to Bitter Sweet Love. It's about the struggles that two friends have in re-finding each other and allowing their past not overcome their future.

Honestly with both books I could not put this down, and with both books I found myself getting so upset with Alexis that I literally had to put the book down to cool off before I started reading it. This book was very well written. It had me on the edge of my seat and where I may not b

In Bittersweet Love, I was left with a cliff-hanger. I really dislike them but for R.C., I put up with order to read this book.

We start back up again with Alexis in the hospital from Luc's attack. The saddest part is that her mind and her thoughts constantly tell her that everything is her fault; Luc's attack and breaking up with Dylan. She feels that she doesn't deserve anything anymore.

Dylan, however doesn't believe this. In fact, after the seven years they didn't spend together is g

Look, I didn't have as many issues with this book than I did with the first one. But it did fling past issues that I thought would be covered in more detail. The locked-in syndrome - should have been mutalism (a common PTSD side-effect) - was interesting and let's explore this more. Inside, it was given a cursory glance and then we were thrown into changing college majors, dating, etc.

Dyaln also seemed to flip-flop from one thing t

This is the second book in the Twisted series and Twisted Love continues the love triangle that Bittersweet Love started between Dylan, Lexi and Luc. You should read Bittersweet Love first to fully understand the history and story of the characters. It is a well written suspense/thriller that is definitely for the age 18 and over age group due to the adult content and subjects covered. It's full of drama, violence, and sexual situations. I personally love this type of read and can't wait to see ...more

It was ok

This book was not the best I have ever read. It was boring, and monotonous at times. I really wanted to like it, but it just wasn't my thing. To me the story line just didn't make sense. I felt like the actual plot could have been a lot better.

I was kindly provided with a copy of Twisted Love by the author to read and review.

Our road to love was bitter and sweet and faith had a tough journey for us. Fate had twisted our love but when true love was given to you, you didn’t back down. You fought hard and made life what you wanted it to be.

First thing's first, this is book two of the Bitter Sweet Love series and personally I don't think would work to read this without having read Bitter Sweet Love first. While I liked book one I never

Twisted Love is the continuation of Bitter Sweet Love, which ended on a cliffhanger. The book opens with Lexi being taken to the hospital due to severe bleeding and injuries. This is due to the last scene of the first book in which Luc, her husband, beats her severely. Throughout this book, Lexi is overcoming her fears and past scars of abuse from both Luc and her mother. She is

This book was absolutely captivating from start to finish, and I couldn't put it down until I finished it (very late last night). I admit that I did not read the first book in the series, but I easily could follow the story of Alexis, Dylan and Luc. Alexis is in her last year of law school, Dylan is in his residency program as a doctor, and Luc is....let's just say trouble.

The book takes place in Canada with Alexis haven been severely beaten, hospitalized for several days, and suffered a terrib

WOW! Twisted Love is a fantastic ending to the Twisted Series. You must read Bitter Sweet Love first to get the full effect of the intense love triangle between Alexis, Dylan, and Luc.

The story starts right off where book 1 ended with Alexis in the hospital badly beaten from Luc's brutal attack. Not only is she physically traumatized but the emotional trauma has her shut down completely. She's so busy blaming herself that she can't even speak. Her baggage is

*slight spoilers* for Twisted Love

This book was quite the journey. I thought it wrapped up the story between Luc, Dylan, and Alexis well. The first book Bitter Sweet Love leaves you with quite the cliffhanger and I couldn't wait to dive into this to see how the rest of the story unfolds. It leaves us with Alexis in the hospital and she's in and out of consciousne

With a cliff hanger like we were left with in Bitter Sweet Love, I was both looking forward to reading Twisted Love (TL) and a little nervous. Too many times authors write an amazing book one only to be followed by a poorly done book two. This was so not the case. While I loved Bitter

OMG so if that cliffy left you heartbroken the beginning of this book won't heal you....

Again I went back and forth with the rating , it is another busy book and the timeline , even though marked in the beginning , kind of threw me off. Love the dual POV but still feel like we really needed Luc's POV in a bad bad way. He was an amazing man and then he was horribly ruined by his own life, I honestly do love him after reading this book but I think for many getting into his head and feeling his pai

This is book two in the Twisted Love series and you really need to have read book one before you even go near this one. I was a bit dubious when I started Twisted Love as I had found our heroine Lexi White just too annoying in Bitter Sweet Love - the first book in this series. Twisted Love begins at the cliffhanger ending of the first book. Luc, the mafia husband of Lexi, has beaten her to a pulp and she is fighting for her life.

Perhaps being in a three day coma has made Lexi more palatable but

Twisted Love by R.C Stephens is the second installment in the Twisted Series.

You must read Bitter Sweet Love (Twisted Series Book 1) to understand what goes around the love triangle portrayed in this series as I did, after that you’ll be so dip into Twisted Love, that it be hard to make a pause while reading it. This installment is absolutely amazing, and like I said before, difficult to put down.

This is Alexis and Dylan POV, and is one fill with emoting, strength and determination to keep going

This book was a great ending to this twisted love story. The was she had two loves, her first and her understood. The two men of her life are both right for her. The only problem is the mob life of the new love. The mob is bad enough when your in it but to try and get out, next to impossible. The love of her life is bad and wants forever. Is she up to this, is this the best choice for her?
This story really brings all the real life issues to this story. The love the lose the heart break. Lexi had

Twisted Love by R.C. Stephens

Book two in this Series, you must read Bittersweet Love to appreciate Twisted Love and to understand it.

This book starts where Bittersweet Love finished. We get it in points of view from Lexi and Dylan.

Poor Lexi is really going through the mill. She loves both Luc and Dylan but both these men have hurt her badly in one way or the other.

There is lots that happen in this book, and it is a bit difficult to keep up with everything.
You will love both Dylan and Luc but
Okay so let me say you probably should read the first book before you read this one. I did not and was a bit lost but quickly figured it out.

Lexi, Luc, and Dylan have a love triangle. I'm not a fan of these because I'm gonna say it gets old. Lexi is recovering from everything that went down with Luc and reevaluating her life thinking everything she has done and has been done to her is all her fault. Dylan is back and is making the statement he's there to stay.

Lexi has a lot of baggage to work

Jumping right into Twisted Love and all I can say is WOW! i have been rooting for Dylan and Lexi and the direction in which this story was heading, threw me off. I was very surprised and found myself yelling at Lexi a lot for some of her decisions.
The only thing I would say with Twisted Love is that the story seemed to wrapped up too quickly. Other than that I enjoyed the journey the author took m

We start where we ended in Bitter Sweet Love. Alexis is in the hospital recovering from Luc's abuse, I KNOW, she blames herself for the abuse cause she let him in her world but what can you expect with your husband being in the mob, but back to the review Dylan is back for good, she can't push away this

After a brutal attack and a heartbreaking loss. Alexis White falls into a bout of depression and shuts everyone out. Finally forced to face the abusive relationships in her life, she comes to terms with decisions she made that were not in her best interest.

Once again, Alexis is stuck in a love triangle with the abusive man she thinks she deserves and her childhood friend who she truly loves. When Luc's family comes after her, the decision might not be left in her hands.

What a great 2nd book.
It was even better then the first
Lexi White is just simply amazing. She went through all kinds of hell. Then to top it all off she ends up with that asshat Luc Blanchard. I didn't like him from the start. I knew he was shady amd thought maybe he was involved with the mob. I just didn't realize how deep.
Her heart always belonged too Dylan, and trust me I could understand why, He made his mistakes and so did Lexi. But at the end of the day they truly belonged together. I
