Sometimes a quick errand turns into the weekend that changes everything.
When my boss asks me to check out a potential rental for a work retreat on my way home for Christmas, I agree. It’s only a half hour out of my way. No big deal. Only, as an unexpected storm hits and the snow starts to fly, it becomes a very big deal. I make it to the cabins, but barely.
When I walk in, I can’t believe my eyes. Standing there is Nico, my first love, not that I’d ever told him. I’d been too scared that once he found out what I wanted in a relationship, he’d run away, and I’d lose him completely.
Now, we are snowed in together, Santa giving me the chance to be brave and finally admit how I feel and tell him I’m a daddy and want more than just a boyfriend. If he rejects, he rejects me, but at least I won’t spend the rest of my life asking myself, What if…
A Little Snowed In is an M/M Hallmark-esque holiday romance set in the world of Found by Daddy. It features a daddy living his dream, the one who got away and showed up at his door, lots and lots of snow, only one bed, a roomful of stuffies, finding the acceptance they always longed for, enough cookies to make Santa happy, a second chance to finally communicate their feelings, true love, Christmas magic, glitter, stickers, adorable stuffies, new beginnings, and two men discovering that the best Christmas present of all is each other.
A Little Snowed In is part of the DKAG Christmas Daddies Season Two holiday romance series where Christmas magic is real and yuletide wishes do come true. A little Snowed In takes place in the same world as Found by Daddy.
I love second chance romances and this was real nice. Nico and Paxton finding each other after awhile apart...not knowing how the other felt...but feelings are still there. The snowstorm was fate. Brought to wonderful sweet people together to find love. Oh plus a little daddy/boy kink added a little spice to this sweet romance. Hardly any angst...just a sweet holiday romance.

A Little Snowed In by Della Cain and Kaytea Kat is part of the DKAG Christmas Daddies series season 2. This is the story of Paxton and Nico. I really liked their story. It was sweet, full of feels and very well written.
My lower rating is more for a neutral rating than it being bad. I think this was a good story, but the way it went just wasn’t my style and I had a really hard time finishing it. I didn’t want to DNF it though since I did get it in exchange for a review. I did find that closer to the ending, it was a lot easier for me to enjoy, so I am glad I kept reading.
Now for my reasons why, and obviously these are just my personal opinions and preferences.
For the first approximately 51% of the book (up to Chapter 11), I really felt like Nico was the Daddy and Paxton was the Little. It didn’t help that I felt like their names should have been swapped. There was only maybe one moment in that whole first 10 Chapters that Nico seemed like a little. Paxton still didn’t feel like a Daddy to me.
Chapter 15 is when I finally felt like I could keep my attention on the story. Being that the books ends at about 88% (18 Chapters total, the last one being the epilogue), that took well over half the story though.
The epilogue was definitely the best chapter and when they actually acted like Daddy/Little the most. Or at least, when it was on page. I did really love the gift that Paxton got for Nico. Considering he made the stories up, I was really surprised that he remembered all of them enough to get what he had made of them (trying not to leave any spoilers).
Overall, I just found that the pacing was kind of slow through the majority and while I do think that Nico and Pax are cute together and make a good couple, I just feel like their positions of literally everything about them should have been switched. Their names, jobs, families, kink, etc.. Again, this is just my personal opinion, but I just really felt like the story would have flowed a lot better if the characters had been switched.

This was pure holiday comfort wrapped in snow, second chances, and emotional vulnerability—with just enough sweetness to feel magical without tipping into saccharine.
Paxton’s POV carries the heart of the story. His quiet longing, years of restraint, and fear of losing Nico altogether feel deeply relatable. The “one who got away” trope works beautifully here, especially because the separation wasn’t caused by betrayal or cruelty, but by fear and miscommunication. That makes the reunion feel earned and tender rather than angsty.
Nico’s return is handled gently and respectfully. There’s no unnecessary drama—just two men finally forced to slow down, talk, and be honest thanks to a snowstorm that refuses to let them run anymore. The only one bed and snowed-in cabin setup is classic holiday romance, but it’s the emotional intimacy that really carries the story.
The daddy dynamic is presented as affirming and soft rather than sensationalized. It’s about acceptance, safety, and finally being seen for who you are and what you want. The roomful of stuffies, cookies, glitter, and Christmas cheer adds warmth and whimsy, giving the book a cozy, Hallmark-esque vibe while still staying true to the Found By Daddy universe.
What really stands out is the communication. This is a second-chance romance where the characters actually talk about their wants, fears, and needs—and the payoff is deeply satisfying. No drawn-out misunderstandings, just emotional honesty and growth.
Overall, A Little Snowed In is a low-angst, heart-forward holiday romance that leans into comfort, acceptance, and chosen happiness. If you love snowed-in second chances, gentle daddy vibes, and Christmas magic that feels earned, this one is an easy, cozy win. 🎄❄️💙.

Paxton is finally able to leave the office behind and go home for Christmas. His mother would take a long time to forgive him if he didn't, it's a big celebration for his family. But when his boss calls, asking him to check out some accommodation they want to book for the following year, he can't refuse. After all half an hour out of his way won't hurt.
Nico is renovating. He followed his dream. Left behind the city and the corporate life and has bought land with cabins, a place to rent out, for part of the year. For the rest, he can do maintenance and finally have some time to relax. The only thing missing is company, a Daddy to be more specific but since he didn't have one in the city either he's resigned to it.
It seems however nature and some other forces have other plans, for both men. On top of that Della Cain has a few fantastic surprises for her readers. Not only is this a warm, thoughtful, loving and romantic story, it has Christmas themes, snowy winter themes, and vibes which simply encourage year-round reading! Cute, maybe a little unlikely but then that is one of my favourite things about fiction, it takes me away from real life, let's me dream, along with the characters and shows me there are endless possibilities for us all. Della Cain does all this, and so much more. Her characters are real, the setting is real, some of the circumstances might be less so but this is such a readable story with a huge heart. I can't get enough!

Paxton agrees to check out a cabin for his boss on his way home for Christmas, but an unexpected snowstorm leaves him stranded. Inside the cabin, he’s stunned to find Nico — his first love, the one who got away. Years ago, Paxton never confessed his feelings, afraid that revealing his desire for a daddy/little dynamic would drive Nico away. Now, snowed in together with only one bed and plenty of time, Paxton sees this as his chance to finally be honest. With Christmas magic swirling around them, he musters the courage to admit his truth and risk rejection, knowing he can’t spend his life wondering “what if.” What follows is a tender, Hallmark-style holiday romance filled with stuffies, cookies, glitter, and second chances. Paxton and Nico rediscover their connection, find acceptance in each other, and realize that the greatest gift of all is true love and the promise of new beginnings.
I loved this story which was about rediscovering love, embracing vulnerability, and finding the courage to claim happiness during the magic of Christmas. I loved how the story explored how authenticity can feel risky but is the foundation of lasting love. I also loved how love was portrayed as the ultimate present — one that outshines all others and lasts beyond the season. A sweet second chance Christmas story. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.
This book is part of the multi-author DKAG Christmas Daddies series 2. Each book is a standalone read and focuses on a different couple. This is the story of Nico and Paxton. They were best friends, coworkers and neighbors. They both wanted more but fear of rejection kept them quiet and caused their relationship to wither out. Nico is the owner of a resort and he is working throughout the winter to update all the cabins. He is happy with his life except for the fact that he wishes he had a daddy. Pax is on his way home for Christmas when the boss diverts him to check out a resort the company is planning to use in the next year. Unfortunately the winter storm is getting worse. Pax is stunned to walk in and see his old friend at the resort. Pax is a daddy and he must now decide if he can be brave enough to let Nico know how he feels and what he wants in a relationship. This is their story. The book is written well and is easy to read. I enjoyed this sweet Christmas romance.

I enjoyed reading this story about Nico and Paxton. Both men worked together and lived next to each other until Paxton took another job and moved away because he was afraid to tell Nico how he felt about him. Paxton is a Daddy Dom and wants to be Nico’s Daddy, but he isn’t sure if he is a Little. Nico has been in love with Paxton for a long time ever since they first started working together, he always wanted Paxton to be his Daddy. Years later, Paxton is asked by his bus to check out a resort and to his surprise, Nico is the owner. I enjoyed how these two worked out their feelings for each other, and finally were brave enough to let each other know how much they meant to them. It’s a sweet story that ends with them going onto live happily ever after.

The characters were wonderfully written and so very appealing and likeable and perfect together. Plot was well developed. World building was solidly drawn. Enjoyed immensely and highly recommend.

Paxton is on his way home when his boss asks him to go and check out a rental cabin for a work retreat when a snow storm sees him stuck he finds Nico his first love. They both have feelings for eachother but have been to scared to tell eachother. This was a sweet little Christmas time story. I felt that it moved quite fast into their relationship but considering they knew each other it wasn’t really. I wanted to know a bit more about Their daddy/little relationship but enjoyed their story as they reconnected with each other.

What an adorable Christmas story with Daddy Paxton and little Nico meeting again and actually revealing their feelings for each other, embracing their long wished for Daddy/little relationship. Each had been afraid of being rejected by the other once their personal desires were revealed, but finally coming clean had their wishes come true. I enjoyed the little times they had together, liked the connection to Chained and Miss Lily, and thought Paxton knocked Nicos Christmas present at the end of the book out of the park. A very enjoyable, entertaining holiday read from this writing duo.

I really enjoyed this story. It was a sweet novella of two friends who both wanted more, but didn't know how to tell the other, then years went by without seeing each other.
Out of nowhere, they run into one another again, promise themselves they'll both be honest and find out what the other has needed since the start.
I thought both characters were incredibly fun and kind and understanding and I loved how much they had worked on themselves during the time apart to be ready for the moment they saw each other again. Super sweet story!
A heartwarming Christmas MM romance with engaging characters. Paxton and Nico were best friends, neighbors and co-workers. Desire for more coupled with fear of rejection lead to them ultimately loosing touch. When an unscheduled business assignment sends Paxton stumbling into a white-out, he mat end up finding much more than he bargained for.
The clear and easy writing style allows this story to flow effortlessly. I enjoyed the bit of role reversal in the dynamic, particularly early on.
I was gifted a copy of this book and voluntarily provided this review. Happy Reading Y'all 📚
A Little Snowed In is about Paxton and Nico, they were best friends and neighbors, both did have feelings to each others but they didn't say anything at the moment. When Paxton's boss wants him to check out a potential rental for a work retreat, he gets snowed in and when he tries to get help he sees Nico.
This was a quick read, there were elements that felt too rushed, but over all this was a readable Christmas story.

I loved this book. Pax and Nico used to be neighbors until Pax took a new job and moved away. A trip to his parent’s house for Christmas will bring Pax back to Nico and the place he lives now - a resort. The two will reconnect and find out that they both have the same feelings for each other and even better, Pax is the daddy Nico has been wanting. I love how the two get a second chance and they make the most of it!.

4.5 Star This was a really sweet second chance. Paxton and Nico love each other years ago and Paxton’s reluctance to express his wants, he ran and ruined the relationship. Now, years later Paxton and Nico are brought together again and Paxton can’t hold back his wants. These two are able to reconnected and start a new relationship including all the stuffies, cuddles and sweetness. I really enjoyed this book and I can’t want to see what these two awesome authors have in store for us next.

This was the perfect book to cuddle up with and a warm drink. Paxton was on his way to his mom's for Christmas when his boss asked him to stop by a resort to check it out to see if it would be any good for their company retreat. Nico had given up his corporate job and bought a quaint little retreat after becoming burnt out from corporate life. Imagine his surprise when his best friend, who he had lost touch with and was also in love with, shows up in the middle of a snowstorm.

ARC review A short sweet read about friends that reconnect after years apart. Both were in love with the other, but didn't have the courage to do something with it at the time. A christmas miracle coming their way give them the chance to be brave and ask for what they want, if they just can be brave enough to put on their big boy pants and jump in with both feet. This is a second chance, daddy/boy, friends to lovers, christmas miracle to warm your heart before the season settle in. Enjoy.
Pax and Nico were friends, neighbors and coworkers. Both wanted more but were terrified of losing the friendship. Eventually they lost touch. Fated has a second chance in store for them in the form of a potentially dangerous snowstorm that reconnects them. This was wonderfully sweet, with no drama, and two men finally being brave enough to take a risk for love.
Right place, better time! What starts out as an errand for the boss, turns into a dream fulfilled for Pax. He walks into the retreat site and sees his crush, Nico. He never had the courage to tell Nico what he wanted in a relationship, but now has the opportunity to confess his feelings and maybe a little more. Delightful story, great characters and nice flow. Well done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A story of what happens when the one that did not know they were the one got away and suddenly they are there. Paxton and Nico are reunited after years. When both of them finally admit to wanting and needing more, that’s when you get to see the love blossom. The story is such a cute one with just the right amount of spice.
This was another very sweet, very cute DDlb novella from this writing team.
Paxton and Nico’s love for each other feels true. I love how they so quickly lean into their second chance, not wanting to miss out on their HEA. An overall enjoyable read.

Paxton and Nico were former co-workers and friends who meet again and realize they are meant to be. Pax is a Daddy who really wants to be Nico's Daddy. Nico is a Little who really wants to be Pax's Little. Both are hesitant to tell each other how they feel and get a second chance. It's a sweet Little Christmas novella. I received a copy of this through BookSprout and this is my voluntary opinion.
Nico and Paxton never admitted their feelings when they had a chance before. Stranded in a snow storm Paxton unexpectedly lands on Nic's doorstep. Admitting attraction and then admitting your deepest needs and want isn't easy. They are perfect for each other and fate bought them back together. It's a good story with great characters. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
This story was so sweet. Nico was just a sweet boy who wanted someone special to love all of him. Paxton stumbled back into his life and found himself exactly where he needed to be. Perfection.
