This book lost a star because some dumb person didn't think to title it "Getting Hitched Without a Hitch". The presentation of this information seemed far more canned than either the Practical Wedding or Wedding Planning for Dummies.
It was a good try, but it was kind of 52 snippets, and not all for wedding planning (there's a chapter/idea for how to be a good guest. Great "idea" but I'm not sure that anyone reading this book will be looking for that!)
I didn't get anything really new out of it, but I thought other people who maybe don't read as fast as I do and like little snippets will prefer this over many of the other all-in-one books. There were cute quotes on the bottom of pages in each "idea" (short chapters really), and the questions at the end of each "idea" were cute, though not always useful.
