Alright, slower then previous books in the series

A bit disappointing but not bad. Earlier books were much better. There wasn't the build up and chaos I've come to expect from the other floors they've been on. More of a training montage instead of a nail biter.

In the earlier books the group is frequently at the edge and you truly have no idea what's going to happen next. This book didn't really have that. Worth reading if only to keep up with the series. Plus the next book is round 2 of the tournament!

It's alright

First, the ending as normal was a giant cliffhanger. Secondly, the story led me to believe the dog was killed off for several pages. I almost dropped the series right then and there.

The pacing is slow, still typical of a web serial converted into a book. That hasn't changed and it was expected, but it's still disappointing. I don't want another 20 book series that drags out. So I really hope the pacing increases a bit because I hate reading a book and feeling like it could be summarized in twelve pages or less.

That said, the quality is better and the author's writing skills have improved. Nat is also far more enjoyable and likable now than he used to be. But he continues to make dumb decisions like investing everything into mana.

Some lingering questions were finally answered though, which is nice and felt good. I'll keep reading for now... But if anything bad happens to Biscuit, I'm done.

Lost The Magic

I’m extremely disappointed with were this series has gone. The general plot is still good but everything else is terrible. The characterization is atrocious, everyone is the same. There is no nuance or variety to anyone you encounter in the book. They are all profanity driven Neanderthals acting as sycophants to the main character. This is to include villains and minor support characters. Not only is Nate completely different and no longer interesting but the greatest injustice is the fall of the actual Magic in the book. What started as this interesting magic system has devolved into a bunch of brawlers with elemental bents. Nothing unique or fleshed out about the magic, just a concentration on power and not even good power scaling at that. This might be my last

Sturdy Interstitial

This volume connects the two tournament books. It does a lot more than that, but that is the high level function.
The characters deepen, but there is little new development. The plot develops interestingly, leaving me curious for most of the book. The ending is a bit of a cliffhanger as Group 4 arrives for the second tournament.
I enjoyed this one, and look forward to the next volume. Recommended.

A very disappointing sixth volume, which feels more like a transitional piece than a true continuation of Nat and his gang's adventures.
The sixth and seventh levels are merely skimmed over, often carelessly and disjointedly.
There's not much new to sink your teeth into.
The author and the characters all seem to be waiting for the tournament that will undoubtedly fill most of the next volume, which can only be more interesting than this one.

I've moved beyond my "I didn't like the protagonist but am just invested enough to pre-buy the next one given that it's pretty cheap" stance from the first couple of books and can pretty much admit that I really like this series at this point.

It's changing just enough about the broader scheme of the universe and the challenges being faced by the core team to keep it fresh as the scope continues to expand and expand. As long as it does so, I'll continue to buy them as they come out.

Changing but still very well written

With leveling up, the roles taken on by the Angry Kittens are evolving. Nathaniel is changing as are all of the other group 4 crazies. I look forward to how Futurethaniel develops especially since With the growth of his powers, appropriate fights will be harder to orchestrate.

I love how we start to get glimpses of activities on earth as well. I also look forward to future books where the return happens. I can't wait!

another great instalment

Wow I’ve been waiting for this book! So good to be back in the hell tutorial with Nat and group 4. I’ve read so many litrpg series and this is one of the few that combines great storylines and characters with drama and comedy. But now back to waiting till next year to get the next instalment !!! Nya.

I can't get enough

I'm not a books guru but all I can say is please don't stop writing this series I love all of the books so far and it kills me to wait for them to come out. The characters the world the whole damn thing is amazing you get all the feels and become immersed into the world.

Tha k you for creating and writing these books I look forward to all that comes next.

So want to continue this story, but…

Either: Fire your editor, or get an editor. 75% of this book was a literal waste of your readers’ time. Surely someone is telling you this before deciding to put this book together. Or maybe not. Find someone that will you tell you this if you can’t see it for yourself.

Hate naming reviews

EXTREMELY complex, well thought out, mana system that has zero structure :-), but the author pulls it. The main character continues to grow emotionally - he's no longer the sick psycho we met in the first/second books. Just an admirable psycho now.

Sux have to wait for the next book to come out.

Book six is good

The character development in the past two books of this series has been great. All of group 4 are becoming more nuanced and complex, and it is a pleasure to read. The world of the system is also becoming a minefield of powerful players and danger. I very much enjoy the way each new step forward in Nathaniel's journey seems to come with even more new obstacles

Better and better

Usually you get to a point in a series like this where the action drags or the formula becomes rote. But not herem- the author knows when to break up the monotony, adds some really good dialogue, and really fleshed out some of the character foils. My only complaint is we didn't get enough of the best doggo in book 5...no book six!

Continuation of a good LitRPG series with good action and progression. Flushed out the main character and group 4 Hell difficulty team members. Better than average length to read. Can-t wait till the next installment

Great series

Interesting main character, great fight scenes and progression. Despite a crazy power curve, the crew are almost always out of their depth. Cant wait for the next one!

Even more "fun" for group 4

Things get better (worse) this episode. Stakes rise questions get answered (and hundreds more asked ) i am really loving the absolutely Metta gaming powered lvling system braking attempts that only get more inventive as this series goes on. Best dogo and future Absolute of Earth Biscuit becoming even cuter is also a bonus :) boop his snoot while we can before he rules over us all! Ok but seriously the story ramps up here and I am loving it and the clif hangers oh boy are they still on pare lol 😆 5 out of 5 stars and perhaps getting to be my favorite "isekai"/ "game system" story. Overlord light novel is my One true love but this one is getting close. People may dislike the pacing but its one the things I like here actually. SAO done right.

Best Doggo of the 7th Floor

Well, I personally think that the title says enough to be a review but Amazon insists on a minimum of 20 words.
