Summary:
This was the first book in this series that I have read and I would definitely recommend reading this series in order. As this story unfolded, there were so many unexpected plot twists that added depth to the story. Kate may have been human, but there was more to her than even she ever imagined. Her life had been filled with love, horror, and loss as her world was almost destroyed as the battle between good and evil continued. Kate's past was revealed revealing her abduction by aliens, interaction with the Anasazi, and how the use of the Gemini Rising book that was very similar to the bible was fascinating. The conflict between the light and the dark was brought to life as Belial, the fallen angel, fought anyone who threatened his control of the underworld, including any of his family that stood in his way. I look forward to reading other books in this series.
