This book starts elementary and ends at a level that would require a Spanish immersion for the beginner to progress that far in a reasonable amount of time. I understood the first few lessons well since I once lived abroad. I learned a lot from the next few. I was overwhelmed by the last few. But I think a second or third reading should be enough to learn it all.
