Ok...I'm going to try to get you up to speed with this series. You should absolutely start with the Men of Steel Series and work your way to the Ties of Steel Series. The Men of Steel Series is a chronicle of the Steel Brothers. Four hot alpha male brothers and the story of their business and their women. Then move into Ties of Steel and Abe. Abe is not a Steel brother but a good friend and a financial genius. Oh and also, he's completely dominant in the bedroom and it's insanely hot.
Dominc The Prince is about Dominic Segretti, the Steel's first cousin. The story starts out with Dominic coming to the United States to work with his Steel cousins to regain control of the Segretti empire. It was taken over by the DeLuca family when Dominic's grandma remarried. Throw into the mix Jules DeLuca, Benito's wife who is trying to help Dominic take down her deviant husband. Jules is also very interested in a relationship with Dominic and spends some time on her knees proving that point.
Next meet Delaney "Laney" Johnson. She is best friends with Nikki. Nikki is engaged to Abe, the CFO of Steel Inc. You don't remember Nikki? Then read Abe, I promise it'll be worth it. Laney has recently dumped her boyfriend James. She walked in on him having sex with another woman and clearly wasn't having any of that. So as you can guess Laney has trust issues. She also has some issues with her parents that have shaped the kind of person she is.
Now here come's the good part. Laney and Dominic meet at a casino in Atlantic City. Well at least I think it's Atlantic City. Of course they are instantly attracted to each other. Who wouldn't be attracted to Dominic? He body is completely lick worthy with that V that totally drives women crazy. Dark hair and eyes complete the total package that is Dominic. Oh wait, I forgot the accent. Seriously hot and when he throws Italian phrases into the mix, I'd probably do anything he asked me. When they get into that elevator, hold on to your panties girls, it's a hell of a ride.
In an act completely uncharacteristic of herself, Laney goes back to Dominic's room and holy hell! The night they have is unbelievable. I cannot even do justice to describing the hotness that is Dominic Segretti in bed. Just know it will make you tingle EVERYWHERE! He made Laney tingle about five times in one night, so yes, I would say Dominic's hotness factor is blazing.
So now remember Nikki and Abe are together and Abe works at Steel Inc. Laney and Nikki are best friends and she shows up with Dominic who is a Steel cousin. The Steel brothers and Abe kind of know that Dominic and Jules DeLuca have a thing so they're worried that he'll hurt Laney. The thing is Dominic and completely in love with Laney from the word go. He's just a guy and sometimes they do stupid things.
After James and her issues with her parents, Laney has built walls around her heart. Dominic wants nothing more than to break them down. Laney lets him in a little bit and he screws it up and yes, it has something to do with Jules who I would enjoy giving a smack down to. But Laney isn't the only one with feelings of jealousy. Dominic keeps posting pictures of him and Laney on Instagram and letting her cowboy know that she's with Dominic.
Just when you think everything is going to work out, Dominic regains control of his company, and he and Laney have worked out their trust issues, boom another silly mistake from Dominic and Laney gives up on him.
Oh I forgot, Valentina is also an important part of the story. She is Dominic's little sister and he has spent his life protecting her. She decides she wants to live in New York City and in very Christian Greyesque style, Dominic has bought and renovated the building that she and Laney live in. Of course Valentina befriends Laney and tries to convince her that Dominic is worth another chance.
So here's the question will Dominic be able to make Laney understand she is all he wants? Will Laney realize that even with the tragedies of her past, she is allowed to be happy? Will there be any consequences from the way Dominic regained his company?
You'll have to read Dominic The Prince, by M.J. Fields. I will tell you I am completely in love with Dominic he is so damn sexy, I can't get him out of my head. But the way he loves Laney is so intense, it sent me swooning. He is perfection in a very hot, sexy Italian package.
Yes of course I'm giving Dominic a five lip smack review. I love everything about this story and I'm looking forward to book three which will be Sabato's story.

I have read and loved every book my MJ, and Dominic is just as loved. The book is hot, steamy, sweet, swoon worthy and loyal to a fault. What more could you want....?
Dominic is the cousin of the amazing Steel brothers which I love that they appear in this book in all their Steel glory. With so much going on in Dominic's life he needs a break. He stays at a Casino where he sees Laney and he is blown away by her natural beautiful, she does carries herself with such confidence and what Dom wants, Dom gets.
Laney leaves her arse of a boyfriend and needs to de-stress which happens to be at the same casino as Dominic Segretti.
The sexual chemistry is off the charts between Dominic and Laney but you also get the sense that their connection runs deeper. Even after one night together the pull between them keeps them close.
Little do they both know how 6 degrees of separation works. They both know the same groups of people, which means they will see more of each other, which is perfect with Dominic. Through the whole book you get to sit deep with both Dominic and Laney, you get to feel the pain of both their losses. You get to feel both the sexual and soul searching connection and believe me the sex scenes are mighty hot.
There were a few times that I wanted to slap Dominic for being cocky, arrogant and so damn sure of himself but then he goes all sweet and sexy and you melt. Bloody Dominic and poor Laney, she never had a hope in hell. He wanted her no matter what. I love that you get to see Dom interact with the Steel boys but stand his ground for what he has his heart set on. I thought that Laney came across as a very strong female character, considering what her childhood was like. I loved that Dominic saw all of her emotion and helped her through it.

Oh Dominic I really wanted to murder you at times, or just heavily kick you in the nuts, why can't anything ever be easy with these Steel men? Actually there's always one thing that's easy with them, and that's their stamina, "not uncomfortable in that way. Let's just say you make what's soft, hard again." He thrusts upward." Laney I'm glad that girl has a mouth and knows how to use it and I don't just mean in a dirty way, she knows how to stand up for herself and shows the true meaning of a first impression isn't all that's cracked up to be, "Jesus Christ, I left an angel this morning, and now, I have a she-devil. Did I not make you come enough, last night? This morning? Tell me what brought this on?" Dominic doesn't like waiting for answers or what Laney's reaction to his requests might be so he just does what he wants, "because I threw them in the garbage. I told you, 'nothing to tamper with the fertility of the land.'" One thing I didn't like about Dominic was his secrets why couldn't he just been upfront and honest? Like seriously Dominic do you know how much hurt and pain wouldn't have existed between you and Laney if you had done that?

Ho iniziato a leggere i libri sulla famiglia Steel senza nessuna aspettativa, ma pian piano recuperando uno per uno le storie sui quattro fratelli me ne sono innamorata e li ho letti uno dietro l'altro, quando poi ho saputo dell'uscita di Abe sono stata lì in costante trepidazione nell'attesa dell'uscita e ho iniziato anche questa seconda serie che vede l'apparizione dei personaggi precedenti solo marginalmente.
Ma l'autrice non manca di farceli assaporare ugualmente anche se in piccole dosi, non ho una graduatoria, per me sono tutti bei libri, tutti da leggere, sono scorrevoli e coinvolgente uno più dell'altro, ho amato tutti i fratelli e la loro mamma chioccia sempre pronta ad aiutare i figli e a tirargli le orecchie se solo osano sbagliare, adesso non vedo l'ora che arrivi la storia su Sabato.

**JOSIE'S 4.5 STAR REVIEW**
Once again I am honored to have been able to read and review one of Ms. Fields books. Dominic is book 2 in the Ties of Steel series and although it is a short read, it is packed a lot of shock and awe. Dominic has had a traumatic past and wants to bring the one man that has taken from him and his sister. Laney whom we met in Book 1. She is Nikki’s best friend. She always felt like she was not good enough and it doesn’t help that she caught her boyfriend cheating on her. This book in this series is also told in alternate POV’s. The Steel Family also have camo’s appearances in this book.
Dominic’s mission in life is to take over and destroy the one person that is responsible for causing the greatest pain that he has suffered. My heart broke for her and I understand her need to want to be first for once. I really loved the way Ms. Fields addressed the issue with depression. It was done in a very respectful and insightful manner. Dominic’s character was easy to love but he also can be very frustrating with his need for vengeance and justice. This caused a lot of misunderstandings. Can Dominic and Laney let go of their past and accept the promise of a new love? Will Laney fight for Dominic or will she give up on love altogether? Once again I am honored to have been able to read and review one of Ms. Fields books. Dominic is book 2 in the Ties of Steel series and although it is a short read, it is packed a lot of shock and awe. Dominic has had a traumatic past and wants to bring the one man that has taken from him and his sister. Laney whom we met in Book 1. She is Nikki’s best friend. She always felt like she was not good enough and it doesn’t help that she caught her boyfriend cheating on her. This book in this series is also told in alternate POV’s. The Steel Family also have camo’s appearances in this book.

I am yet to read a book by MJ Fields that I didn't enjoy and Dominic is another great read. As with all MJ's books, before your know it you're 50% in without even realising. Dominic is a seamless and more than enjoyable read.
Dominic certainly has many alpha traits, however, he is a lot more softer than his Steel cousins. We met Lacey in Abe, and she was certainly a far more layered character than I imagined. I actually really liked both of them and was routing for them throughout.
While I felt their progression from lust to something more was a little speedy, it is clear that right from their first meeting, the sexual chemistry between them is undeniable and we were certainly treated to pretty steamy scenes.
There's also some really touching and emotional moments throughout that really pulled at the heart strings. Dominic and Lacey have experienced pain and loss and while Dominic has come to grips with his loss, Lacey is still very much affected and it affects her in ways, I'm not sure she even realised. I loved how the nurturing side of Dominic's personality came out to help Lacey move forward.
Dominic is a more than enjoyable read, that I would be happy to recommend. I will now patiently sit back and await Sabato's story which after reading the epilogue I'm now even more eagerly awaiting.
Dominic can be read as a S/A, however, I would recommend reading Abe first and if you haven't done so already, I would certainly check out the Men Of Steel series of which the Ties of Steel series is a spin off from.

Love Dominic. MJ Fields has once again written a fantastic book. Not only is Dominic as hot, sexy and alpha as they come he also has a tender side to him that just makes you love him even more.
Dominic meets Laney and has an immediate interest in her and she in him but they both have secrets that they aren't sharing. Secrets that could be dangerous to all involved. Can they overcome all that is ahead or will they both walk away from their chance at happiness?
This storyline is so well written and captivating the character development is such that you immediately love Dominic. MJ Fields gives us a look at what the rest of the Steel family is up to and pulls it all into a book that keeps you wanting more.

Man...that was everything I thought it would be and so much more. Ties of Steel is turning out to be a really good spin-off series. I usually hate spin-off series because they are like movie sequels... they suck. But Ties of Steel is truly amazing, because you get explore really great secondary characters as main characters while still getting your fix for the original characters from the initial series, with a healthy dose of drama that does back to the original story and characters as well. I have found a new love in Dominic and a fond affection for Delaney... l can't wait to read the 3rd book Sabato...

There is nothing hotter then a sexy Italian alpha. I absolutely love this series and Dominic I absolutely loved. I loved how they instantly connected and how much he cares for Laney. I love see the Steel Men and Abe is this story as well. What Dominic and Laney has gone through in their lives and know what each other is going through and to be there for each other I couldn't put my kindle down.. It ended perfectly and can't wait to read what happens next.

Very BEST book by MJ Fields I have ever read, and I have read them all. Missing this book would be a tragic mistake- Dominic is a must have, must love book boyfriend. Controlling, arrogant, overbearing? Oh yes. But he makes you love it. Lol! This is not to be missed and 5 stars really is not enough, it is just all it gives me the option to choose.

Tempt audiobook - I just have to start this review out by saying the narrator/actors on this audiobook were absolutely fantastic. Kai Kennecott & Wen Ross took the story to a whole new level. They are fantastic voice actors! The book was fun and funny. A completely stress-free read! 🌶️

With the help of Jules DeLuca (Benito's wife), and the Steel Brothers, Dominic is prepared to take Benito and is Mafia related friends down.

Lies, deceit, and betrayal all go hand in hand in this book. This in my honest opinion is the best book by M.J. Fields hands down. I really loved the characters that she has created. Although I must admit I wasn't looking forward to this book, as I through she should follow Kat and Rico's story lines. I am still holding hope that she still will.
I have to say that I am really looking forward to the next book in the series. Sabato: The Cross. I'm sure it will be just as good at the last two.

This was freaking amazing out of this world I think I have a new favorite book from this author. When you created Dominic you made him perfect in every aspect. He's dominant but in such a great way. His need to protect the ones he loves is truly remarkable. Laney she's vulnerable in every way and has been mistreated most of her life by a tragic event that she lost her other half. Only she shares with nobody the darkness that lies in her and how she feels her life has no meaning. Until one night her luck changes by chance she meets the mystery man the Italian beast. Gahhh what a beautiful man he calls her ladybug from there first night you see the walls start falling from both of them they let each other in. We learn secrets about them nobody knows the trust they have for each other is hard to explain. Because they aren't even sure they get it. But Dominic will stop at nothing to make sure she's his. But as the story continues you learn more about heartbreak. This family sticks together and with the support of them all they will take down an army because that's who they are. But choices are made and and Laney starts questioning herself did she trust to quickly is he worth the shattered heart she knows that is coming. Go on this journey and meet my Dominic because you yourself will fall in love with this Italian beast. Can't wait for the next book it was perfect. You did a phenomenal job Mj fields

The only place to start this review is but simply saying WOW. MJ Fields has done it again. In this book we meet Dominic a cousin to The Steel men and we are draw to him from page one. What a gorgeous man who is looking to right all the wrongs that were brought upon his family. He comes to the states to fix everything that has happened with the help of his cousins and to see first hand it is done right. What Dominic doesn't expect to find is Laney a woman who is broken herself and who is trying to move on with her life and to make it better it in the process . When Dominic and Laney meet the chemistry is their right from the start and the pages are steamy from then on.
The two of them are both broken in some way by their pasts and need each other more than anything to right all the wrongs. Their is defintely many bumps along the way but you can't get to HEA without them. If you are looking for a book that will have you from page one right up until you see The End this is defintely one you won't want to miss

Thanks to the author, I was allowed to read an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. I absolutely loved this book! It was awesome! Dominic is ranking up there awfully close to Cyrus Steel in my eyes after reading this one! The chemistry between Dom & Laney was very hot but what got me the most was how loving and protective Dominic was. Being Italian may have helped a little too.....he could speak Italian to me anytime! One of the most moving parts for me was how he pushed Laney to forgive her parents so that she could move on and rebuild her broken spirit. His character was very loving and caring, traits you don't always see in an alpha male character.

MJ has a knack for writing her readers new men to fall in love with. Does he have his flaws? Absolutely. Does that make me want him that much more, hell yes. He's not perfect, he admits to it. He says what he means. Laney is the complete opposite and someone, as an unlucky woman, I can totally relate too. When the two of them get together the air in the room is hot, hot, hot.
The way she writes, you feel like you know the characters, that you're with them, making their decisions, that you're in their head. If you loved Abe or any of her other books, you'll love this one. Highly recommend this!

I am always a sucker for books with familial ties, this book is no different. I enjoyed not only meeting Dominic and Laney, but watching them meet and fall in love.
MJ Fields is an artist at writing couples with smoking hot chemistry that is both sexy and undeniable. Laney & Dominic are no different.
This book has everything you could want: action, drama, and family bonding that leaves you wanting more! It was a great ending to Dominic & Laney's story and the perfect segue way for Sabato's.

After reading this novel...the name Dominic will always leave a sweet sensuous taste in my mouth!This hot as hell Italian is the man of my dreams...just don't tell my husband,please!!! Such a purrrrrrrfect character in every sense of the word...as a man,a lover,a relative,a nephiew,a friend and a brother. I knew I would not be diappointed in MJ Fields' 2nd book of the "Ties of Steel " series...each book seems to be getting all the more yummier! 5 sinfully sexy stars for Dominic!
