The first page had a Faulkner quote about his love of martinis, so I necessarily had to see it through to the end.

The perfect book for the perfect cocktail.

What's in it: A bit of history, a bit of cultural background, many quotes related to martini and tons of recipes. Purists, don't shy away - I usually prefer a regular martini (dirrrrty please) or a Vodkatini, but the exotic ones are nice to try out every now and then. This is a book that has earned its spot in my kitchen shelves, for I need it for reference every so often ;)
