While I generally liked the tone/attitude of these stories (comedic, coyly noir), I thought almost all of them were awful. The lone exception was an excellent story by Ray Bradbury about some squabbles between a few prospectors and an interesting mirage.

I'm not sure why most of these were considered science fiction... the title story mentioned a computer... the main character in another story was an earth-bound astronaut... in one story an inventive neighbor built a contraption... it was a pret
