Hank O'Malley is about to have his idyllic West Virginian life turned upside-down. It's 1956 and Hank leads a quiet, boring life of a senior at Cavanagh Gap Regional High School. On the cusp of his 18th birthday the pack of bad boys at school have told him, "It's time..." - just what that means for unassuming Hank, he can't begin to imagine. With a new threat on the horizo ...more

What.The.Fuck. I don't even know what to say, I have no idea what just happened. Basically this book consists of:

Everyone: "We are yours Hank. We love you so much. We need you. You're wonderful and perfect and we're yours."

Hank: "What's happening? This doesn't make any sense. But I feel that it's right. But I'm confused. But I can sense it."

Lather, rinse, repeat. For a hundred fucking pages. Then they pretend we're gonna learn something, but it's everyone and Mama and Corey sitting around thinki

So this book confused me a little. I had to go back a couple times because I kept asking myself well what just happened. But I want to know what is going to happen next to the point that I started stalking. You know looking to see when this one was published and if something was said about the next book. I didn’t unearth anything, but I will keep my ear to the ground.

I liked Hank and his “boyfriends”, because yeah there were eight of them and I think I was stalking Collins because I wan

Finally, a werewolf story that thinks out of the box. No actual werewolves in their huge, hairy form appear in this first book, which sets the scene for the coming series, but you know they are in the background. Hank is the cute student in a small town, on the cusp of becoming a man, being bullied by a gang of good-looking, popular guys who seem to enjoy tormenting the shy boy. Then a complete turnaroundhappens, and Hank finds himself the centre of their attention in far more sensual ways. The ...more

Hank O'Malley is a quiet, unassuming boy who spends his time at High School keeping his head down and trying to avoid the eight bullies who torment him whenever they have a chance. Unexpectedly, he finds himself with eight eager admirers instead, and things get even stranger as he learns that what happened in his past will make a big impact on what is about to happen in the future.

This book is called a lycothapric adventure, but do not expect descriptions of slavering werewolves and men howling

I am a fan of werewolves, there is no secret about that. I am also quite picky about the omega stories, but this one was a very nice surprise. Hank is absolutely adorable and his pack of teenage wolves is nicely developed. The bullies turned boyfriends are not really brushed over, the issue is debated at length and Hank remembers the bullying in quite vivid colors.

Although the werewolf lore is changed quite a bit to explain the gay relationships within the pack and how some wolves also had famil

HO'M,O is a tension filled book showing us how Hank comes to terms with his sexuality and also his destiny to lead his boys through the troubles that lay ahead of them. The emotional and erotic scenes that Hank encounters are truly mind bending. Seeing how Hank is so gentle by nature it makes you want to have a Hank in your life to feel what true love is. Can't wait for the second release in the series. WerewolvesRSexi. ;)

4.5 stars only because this book is just the beginning of which appears to be a long story. It is HFN and may bring HEA in the long run. The one of the best things for me in this book was the new outlook on the whole werewolf folklore in rural North America. The story is written from the point of view of the main character Hank (Henry) O'Malley. Thus the narrative could appear a bit sporadic and with some degree of confusion but in my opinion it is exactly how it should've been written. The high ...more

Wow ! I started following this Author when he wrote Angels of Mercy which is based on real life situations of our youth, intense character studies of the players and beautiful literature that leaves you having a better understanding of our world today and craving more.
This book however spins us in a different unique direction...a world of fantasy but at the same time still capturing those individuals within so deeply that you as the reader become a participant. It reminds me a bit of Anne Rice a

I would give this 10 Stars if I could. So much better than I thought it would be. I felt it started a little slow, but by the end I was ready for oh so much more!
I remember watching those horror movies when I was a kid, so it's refreshing to read something that expresses old timey Hollywood horror films!
I also have a good friend from West Virginia, and so I appreciate the verbiage.
