Lately, Logan "Unbreakable" Kellar's life has been a series of miscommunications with catastrophic consequences. However, this time around, the consequences threaten to not only damage his current relationships but erase a future he only ever dreamed of. Will Logan lose everything he's ever hoped for or will he finally be able to break the cycle of his mistakes and get the future he is so desperate to Savor?
This has to be one of my favorite series, and I'm so sad to see it end! :( If you haven't read this series yet (it does have to be read in order) You're missing out on a great story! I love Xavier's writing, it just sucks you in and you are begging for more once the book is done!
First there's Maxx. She's got a new road a head of her and isn't sure how the one person she wants to spend her life with will react. Though there were times where she irritated me because she wouldn't really listen, I'll give her a pass because of her condition. Most woman over react when they are pregnant.
Then there's Logan. He isn't sure he's made the right choice going professional, but he wants to make a life for him and Maxx. However, when she visits him for his first fight, things don't go as smoothly as planned. Words are exchanged and feelings get hurt, question is, can he fix this?
These two have a long road ahead of them, there will be fights (lol where aren't there any with these two) and some scares as well. Will Logan and Maxx be able to work everything out and a family and life they never dreamed of having? Or will the arguments be to much and they both go their separate ways?
I'm totally in love with Logan, he's definitely in the top 5 of my book boyfriend list. Sure he has his faults and just doesn't know when to shut up (I mean what guy does?) but he makes up for it with how he treats the ones he loves. If you haven't read Xavier's work, you're missing out! I can't wait to see what she has next for us with this group of characters and with other stories as well.
Doing a spinning 'Happy Dance ' right now, my God I have loved, loved, loved this series
This series has..
Brilliant, kickass characters
An Author with a truely witty, amazing sense of humour
And the publications..perfect, only a few weeks between books, just right amount of time to keep your interest ( you know how you get bored and loose interest when you have months to wait )
The final chapter to Maxx and Logan's story was perfect, a bit of angst in the middle and the finale ...well you'll just have to find out....
Logan.
As usual, HOT and sexy as ever...
'And besides, sex with me is relaxing.Well, after you've had an orgasm or two'
Maxx,
Brilliant, tough,beautiful, loveable character
Will really miss these two 'talking' to me
Have said in previous reviews that I love Dean, the introduction of him was just so right...he is the ultimate 'mini me ' of Logan and the things he came out with, just hilarious..
" So cool, you speak Spanish. Will you teach me how to say ' all the ladies love me'?"
Erin and C.J...
Am dying for their story and you just know Erin will f*ck it up don't you???
Seriously, the dialogue and interaction between these BRILLIANT characters was just amazing....
Can't finish without mentioning Luke( don't know why but he's my favourite..am wanting his story and (please ) HOT m/m action
Have really enjoyed this series, Xavier Neal, you rock girl...keep doing what you do !!
From start to finish you feel involved with the characters.
Logan is so hot!
Going from scared boy getting daily beatings from an alcoholic father to a world class fighter with the support and love of his childhood friend to girlfriend Max and his other friends too taking you along with them on the journey.
love the way Xavier addresses the reader getting you involved its different and makes it even more special.
how can I sum this up? hot, passionate, roller coaster of emotions, emotional, humerous, feel good family moments, great characters, recomended, blissful finish.
Apparently Logan has issues where his furniture is concerned one chair in particular, "defensively, Logan folds his arms across his chest and glares at Tony. "What the eff are you doing in my chair?" He's still romantic in his own weird, strange way, "baby, I've taken down fighters twice as heavy as you." I assure her as I head us towards the couch. "And right now, the only thing I am worried about is how long until I am balls deep inside your beautiful body." I honestly can't wait for C.J's book, "C.J. smirks proudly. "Nothing to be ashamed of, Erin. I'll let you call me daddy if you want." I'm glad Logan was smart enough to get his head out of his a** before it was too late. I can't wait to see what Erin and C.J. bring to the table.
*I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review*
As depressing as it is to know the Senses series has come to its end, I can think of no better finale'. The intensity of the events throughout the entire book kept me on edge. Maxx and Logan's story is one I have to relive time and again. There is no better high. A lot of twists and "what if's" are headed your way if you are already anticipating this final installment. Be prepared for some surprises.
I recommend the entire series for people romance junkies.
I have really enjoyed this series and I hate to see it end. I did complain about all the cliff hangers in the previous books but I kept coming back for Maxx and Logan's complicated journey. This last chapter was my favorite. I am a sucker for an HEA and these two really deserved one. Of course there is the inevitable misunderstandings but finally Maxx and Logan make it official. And sexy, very sexy. I hope there are future books for the other characters, Erin and CJ, Lucas, even Tony.
Perfect ending to this series. Just wish it had been longer. While I'm going to miss Maxx and Logan I'm excited about the other characters getting their own stories. Btw that dr appt scene was hilarious.
Awww Maxx finally got her happy ever after. I was really proud of Logan. His journey to where he is now was not easy but it was worth it thanks to Maxx...Omg i love mini Logan (Dean) he'sso funny as well as the others who considered themselves Logan and Maxx's family. This was a great read. I really did enjoy it
All good things come to an end and this is the final instalment in Logan and Maxx’s tale but there is more to come from the other characters, so that is a small crumb of comfort as I try to console myself with the fact that two of my favourite characters from 2014 have stopped speaking to me. Xavier Neal you have addled my brain and provided me with characters that now feel more like siblings than any normal person should consider. I have absolutely adored this series and more over I am completely in love with not only Logan Kellar but also the most reader inclusive writing style that I have come across and one that has me totally devoted!!! Logan has his professional contract and Maxx is determined to let him go and fulfil his dream, despite the fact that he is leaving her behind and unbeknown to him pregnant. Why she didn’t tell him puzzled me to begin with but then I thought about for a while, chatting to Maxx in my head (as you do) she made me see that she really did have Logan’s best interest at heart, she wanted him to have what he had longed for all his life and not to have any regret. But just as with many of the situations they have found themselves in, when she heads to Vegas to watch his first fight and to tell him that they are pregnant, things do not go as planned and she returns home, more alone than ever and with little prospect of the bridge to Logan ever being mended. Dean comes into his own in this book, he really could be Logan re-incarnated! How on earth they found each other beguiles me- Logan and his mini me – hysterical! The only person that can remedy this situation is Logan and the boy does good, he does what he has to do and sets his family apart from his career, making the changes necessary and making Maxx his forever. I defy you – yes, honestly I absolutely defy you not to sob when he proposes – he is just EPIC!! #ilovelogankellar I have read hundreds of books and have a list of favourites that is as long as my arm and a TBR list that I will never ever finish but Xavier Neal is now firmly on my go to author’s list and Logan Kellar will always be one of my top 10 book boyfriends, the series is simply fantastic- read it!!!

Novella: approximately 140 pages. Serial Conclusion. Same Alternating POV with eye-roll inducing mental asides. Same characters, plot picking up right where HUSH left off. Logan's left for California after signing to go pro. Maxx still has shared her life-altering news, but rather decided she and Dean are going to surprise him in Vegas at his first professional bout. Once again poor reactions and miscommunication causes tempers to flare and creates yet another :poop: storm. Pride needs to be swallowed and some tough decisions need to be made if they want any chance and saving and keeping their dysfunctional family intact. The conflicts are mostly resolved now and the story is mostly concluded. There are hints that at least one book or serial will be in the future to follow Stuart, Luke, Erin, CJ, Tony and a more grown-up Dean. There were a few minor surprises and twists. Overall, I'd recommend reading the serial as a book, not part by part.
What a fantastic way to end the story of Maxx and Logan! Logan has just signed a contract to go pro, something he has wanted all of his life. The only downside is that he has to leave Maxx, The Kid, and his friends behind. Maxx has just received some news that could possibly change the course of her relationship with Logan. But, she decides not to tell him right away. When she does tell him, how will he react? And, will they be able to put aside their trust issues to make their relationship work?
As with all the other books in this series, Xavier does a phenomenal job of connecting her readers with the characters…actually more in this book…in my opinion. Maxx and Logan are growing up and becoming more mature adults. Readers will finally see the insecure part of Logan which is heartbreaking and humbling. Unbreakable is actually breakable when it comes to Maxx. The Kid has been an awesome addition to the series. He forces the two of them to think of someone besides themselves. He just kind of cements them all, including the other characters, into a family. As Maxx says, “Logan, family isn’t genetic makeup. It’s those people who stand beside you through anything and everything.” And, that was the book is…it’s a love story between two people who are truly soulmates, and the love story of a family that stick together through everything.
I have been a fan of Xavier’s from the very beginning, and she just seems to get better with every book she writes. She has a wonderful talent of creating characters filled with flaws that she just continues to build upon that grow with each book. While I am sad to see the main story of Maxx and Logan end, Xavier couldn’t have ended it any more perfectly. I know she is going to continue writing about the other characters, and let me tell you, I am waiting very impatiently for C.J.’s story. I can’t wait to discover his secrets! Thank you, Xavier, for making your readers such a big part of Maxx and Logan’s story! You did a wonderful job!

It was a bitter sweet feeling opening my email and seeing the final chapter to Maxx & Logan's story. But as sad as i was, i was also extremely happy to see where Xavier Neal took them in there journey.
Maxx & Logan have just sorted things out, when Logan is off to train and work for the pros. It's a Chance to have a career and a stable life. A dream he never put much stock into. He always believed he wouldn't live long enough to see his future. Until Maxx. But going pro, means he's miles away from his girl. And little does he know, he didn't just leave his Maxx, and his family, Dean, luke, & Erin. His friends, C.J. , Stuart, and even Tony. But he left Maxx with his child growing inside her.
Maxx didn't have the heart or courage to tell Logan, that there pregnant before he left. She knew he would abandoned his dream, and stay. She was also terrified of what this meant. Could she be a mom? Could she raise a child, while Logan was in another state, or traveling? And would Logan even stick around? Yes she loved him, and she knew he loved her. But she also knows Logan. And his habit of running when things get out of his element.
But with the help of there little family. Logan and Maxx, with face anything together. Savor gave us, love, family, sex, tears, fights, heartbreak, & laughs. A perfect mix, to end this chapter of this series.
Bravo Xavier, on bringing us unforgettable characters, and angst filled romance. Logan ''Unbreakable" Keller, will be a top favorite "Book Boyfriend" for many people. Including me!
Well this is the 5th and final book dedicated to Logan and Maxx and their story. I'm sure any books that follow from here on out win mention them. I am amazed to say that all 5 books dedicated to their story were equally amazing, which is not an easy thing to do, but Ms. Neal managed to put out 5 books all 5 star reads for me! She was able to reveal things about these characters in each book that we were unaware of and in turn sucked us right into the story. I think this book was one of the most emotional of all and part of that is because I knew it was the last installment into their lives and the other part was the fact there was a baby involved in this and I was obviously waiting and hoping for an HEA. Ms. Neal has a very wonderful gift and for me she was able to bring these characters alive right before my eyes. After reading 5 books I feel like I know these two like I would a classmate or a work partner. Great job and I am so looking forward to reading whatever she has in store for the rest of the family. After I read Blind, I was so excited to dive into the rest of the series that I just started one-clicking them all. After I had 6 or 7 of them already bought, I notice she offered them in a boxed set. "DUH", that's my luck. And I know better because this certainly isn't the first time it's happened. But truthfully, I don't really care as long as I have them all to read. Looking forward to starting Callous and finding out what Ms. Neal has in store for C.J. and the little spitfire, Erin. It should definitely be interesting and with it's share of laughs.
Just like every other book in this series I could not put this one down! Amazing! That's what this book was! I loved it, and I love this series and I can't wait for all the other characters in the books to get there own series! Especially Erin and CJ! I think they are next and I will be the first one in line to read that one! Ugh I can not recommend this series enough. The humor and the wit in this series was just great and Logan is one sexy man! I loved it! What a great read and ending!
Merged review:
Savor (Senses Series, Book 5)
Just like every other book in this series I could not put this one down! Amazing! That's what this book was! I loved it, and I love this series and I can't wait for all the other characters in the books to get there own series! Especially Erin and CJ! I think they are next and I will be the first one in line to read that one! Ugh I can not recommend this series enough. The humor and the wit in this series was just great and Logan is one sexy man! I loved it! What a great read and ending!
Really Xavier?????? Could you give us anymore heart attacks!!! Savor has to be the BEST book in the series! I am going to miss these two more than you know. In the final installment of the Senses Series we jump right in where we left off. Maxx is really got her hands full in this one! If Logan don't drive her bonkers, Luke will definitely fit the bill. But, ladies I swear you are going Logan in the balls a few times, ok and maybe cuddle him a little bit too. Lol! This book wouldn't be the same without Maxx and Logan's banter. I know we secretly love their drama! Oh, and get ready to swoon over Dean, he is going to melt your heart! I can't wait until for the ready of the group to get their stories told. I am not so patiently waiting for C.J. And Erin's story! XAVIER- you have done it again my friend! Thank you for giving us a story about family, even though they might not always be blood. They love each other. And, you my friend I love you to the moon and back!!!
I loved it!! Savor is the fifth book of Senses Series and it is the conclusion of Maxx and Logan's story whom from the start captured my heart. I just love these two and I know despite their misunderstandings and wrong assumptions about each other they were meant to be together. There are times in their whole story that I get annoyed only to realized that their reaction in that certain moment is just normal and I totally get it since I know their personality as if I'm the one who wrote their story. I loved how Logan put Maxx first before his career, fought for her and for their family to be together.. To sum this book and Maxx and Logan's story: It is a K. O. read! It is a feel good book like eating your very cupcake. It is funny and interesting. Logan Kellar will definitely be added in your BBF list. Remember : he gotchu.
I am also pretty excited for the next book to come.. I really want to know more about Lukr, CJ, Tony, Erin and Dean!
What a journey Xavier has taken us on with this series. I feel like we grew with Logan and Maxx. We rooted for them, laughed and even cried for them. You get so drawn in to their story that you eagerly wait for the next book. Savor was the cherry on the top! This book was the perfect conclusion to a series that quickly became one of my favorite series. Not only did she give us Maxx and Logan we get a whole cast of characters that I eagerly await their stories. The possibilities are endless for Xavier! The sky is the limit and I fully intend to watch Xavier continue to take the book world by storm! Congratulations Xavier!
This was the conclusions to Maxx and Logan's story (Thank You Xavier for releasing each installment super speedy).
I've really enjoyed this series and Xavier took Maxx and Logan out with a bang and had me in tears at one stage and laughing out loud at others.
Great characters and a great story. If I had to grumble I'd have liked to have seen the birth scene, however, I know that Xavier has confirmed that there is more to come from the rest of the gang so hopefully we might see Luke put his nursing skills to the test.
I loved this entire series and I can't wait for the other characters to get their own HEA! I think what I loved the most about Maxx and Logan was that their chemistry was genuine and that this wasn't "insta love" for them they truly cared for each other and developed their relationship through the years. Erin and CJ, should be a pretty interesting read too. She's got spunk. Great job Xavier on an excellent, witty, tender, angst filled serial. 4.5 stars
I absolutely loved this ending.... Everything worked out for Maxx and Logan.. I have to say that when Maxx told Logan she was Pregnant I wanted to kill him after all the things he said I felt like she forgave him to easy but at the same time I am happy that the fight didn't drag to long and the story moved along nicely and I enjoyed this book from beginning to ending...
Omg I can't believe this series has come to a end :,(. I took so long to read this book because I new it would be the end and wasn't ready for that. It was a beautiful an fitting ending that still leaves Xavier with possibilities (happy dance). I will miss maxx, logan and the rest of the gang, If u haven't read this series please do u won't regret it <3 xx
I'm sad that it's over. It's hard to say goodbye to Logan and Maxx.
Hopefully we'll get a glimpse into their lives in the upcoming books with the rest of the Senses gang. Don't we all want to know if the Kellars have a boy or a girl? And aren't we all praying that Logan has learned to shut his damn mouth before he has to stick his foot in it?
Fantastic writing Xavier. I love the dynamics between maxx and Logan's relationship and the added bonus of 'the kid' and that relationship. Sometimes something amazing happens and the book just makes its own but this book had a helping hand and she rocked the world via the pages of this book.
Oh Logan and Maxx! I have loved their story, their journey, their struggles and their accomplishments. The series has been amazing and I'm digging in to more immediately!
INCREDIBLE SERIES!!! This has to be one of THE BEST series I've read in a long time. Xavier Neal is such an amazing author. She writes like no other. The characters in this series come to life within the pages. You become invested in them. I love the interaction with the reader. While this may be the final book in Maxx and Logan's story, I'm looking forward to reading more about the other characters. I'm sure a little Maxx and Logan will be weaved into their stories as well. I highly recommend this series. You'll need to read these books in order. But believe me, it'll be so worth it. You're going to love this series.
I've had a lot of mixed emotions while reading thus book. Sadness-knowing that thus us the last if Maxx and Logans story. Sadness and anxiety-when Maxx is at The Kids birthday party. Anger-at Jake when Logan needs to go hone to be with Maxx. Joy and happiness-when Dean talks to Maxx and Logan. Mixed emotions at the end of the book. I wanted more.....but knowing here are still more books from this series hopefully we will hear from Maxx and Logan again.
Although this is it (you will think) but the way MS. Neal's has done this series and her little sneaky ways going on, I am going to research more before I read Erin's and CJ's story, Dean and Megan and Luke and Stuart... I want or I need to finish with Maxx and Logan before I start on anything so I can do my final review on these two...
