At the end of Book #1, we had a failed suicide attempt by murderer which OMG turned out to be her boyfriend Chris and the people she killed -most of them had been his family WTF. I didn't see that coming to be honest. In this book, Hilda has been kidnapped by Chris and Ben. Cosette is feeling guilty that she alter ego Bonnie made more killings and more so the fact that her suicide mission failed. She didn't want to be in this world, and she is trying so hard not to let Bonnie out again. During t ...more

This picks up right where the first one left so I highly recommend you read that one first so that you do not get lost with this second book. There’s so much I want to say about Controlling Cosette but I can’t say much as I am afraid that it would spoil this for anyone who is reading this review. I can say that this is a fast-paced story that continues to let readers immerse themselves and get lost within the storyline and the fantastic narration. The author weaves a story that leaves you holdin ...more

This is book two in My Beautiful Suicide Series. I highly recommend you read book one first before jumping into this one.

Can’t really say too much without spoiling it. I will say it’s a great continuation to the story and I can’t wait to read more. These books are gripping. Once I started I was hesitant to put down until I’ve finished it.

Another interesting read!

So here I am, a senior citizen reading this book about high school teens and loving it. I was warned by the author is was a twisted novel and she was right. The twists and turns kept me up all hours to see what would happen next. Amazing and haunting. Good job Atty!

So disturbing and wicked. Face paced and creepy. There is nothing I can say that won't reveal spoilers other than to say my friends were not that...enabling, lol. Seriously, it's a perfect continuation to My Beautiful Suicide without suffering from 2nd book syndrome. Time for book 3! ...more

"If you don't ask the question, I won't have to lie."
Controlling Cossette continues from the conclusion of My Beautiful Suicide, and it is definitely advisable to be familiar with that book before commencing this, the second in the series.

Being impressed with the originality and pace of book one, as well as being intrigued by the futures of the main protagonists, this reader came to this second part with pleasurable anticipation combined with the expectation of something n

If you like them dark and twisty, this is a series for you!
This book went in a different direction from the first book, this one was more about Cosette and her addictions and need to control! While the first book reminded me of the movie Heathers, this one didn't at all! This book picks up right where book 1 ends and it ends leaving you wanting so much more. There were times when I thought "OMG, what am I reading" and times when I was thinking "this is so F'd up" and I loved all o

Wow! She tried the Beautiful Suicide, but alas lived through it and is left here to deal with the aftermath... of what she's become, of what she's done, and what she'll do now.

Another dark & twisty book in the series, this will take you in, chew you up & spit you back out. Starts where the last book left off, and the you thought you were off that crazy ride, but now it's back!

Mind-bending, twists, intrigue, and darkness all mix and mingle in this second dose. Take it, and enjoy the ride!

This was good, but not as good as book 1.I found it just a bit too far out there to be believable. The creepiness was more how everyone 'loves' Cosette. Michelle Sparks was a fine narrator for all characters.I was given this book by the narrator, author or publisher free for an honest review. ...more

This is like a car wreck you can't turn away from. Whereas the first book saw a young girl fighting deep depression and truly horrible things happening to her, this book is the birth of a serial killer. That part honestly didn't bother me - it's teenage Dexter. But the sex - we're talking fade to black, but orgies - it was a bit much for me. I think it's that they are teens and we're still observing them in high school.

We're observing a true sociopath be born and it's disturbing. Also d

Controlling Cosette My Beautiful Suicide book two by Atty Eve Controlling Cosette is book 2 of the My Beautiful Suicide series by Atty Eve. It picks up right where My Beautiful Suicide ended. I thought it odd that Atty Eve named the first book and the series the same, but then this is an odd story. It is peculiar and very good.

For those who have not read book 1, stop reading this review right now and go get it. You will be glad you did. Although there is a lot of reaching back – so you are not lost when meeting the characters, and the situation

*SPOILER ALERT* *SPOILER ALERT*

Okay now this is more like a Dexter reincarnation. Except Dex is a girl (Cozy), Hannah Mckay debuts in season 1 (My Beautiful Suicide) instead of season 7 and Harry (Officer Jenny Crance) is still alive. Also unlike in Dexter, everyone knows about Cozy's dark passenger. The blood on the paper towels thing also brings me back to Dex. Of course there are plenty of things that make it different which I'm still in a love-hate relationship with. I'm really happy Chris

I was born and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I grew up with a short-tempered, alcoholic father, and faithful Christian mother. My escape was reading and music. I think I was the only kid with my nose in a book during the Air Force Academy football games.
As a rebellious teen I was very self-destructive and always getting into trouble. Needing a change I followed my father's footsteps and jo
