Another lovely book in the Mountjoy series i shall be so sorry to finish them all.

This was my favorite book in the “Children of Chance” series. Like most of her books, it can be a challenge to keep up with most of the characters. It's fascinating to see how she pulls it all together at the end.

Good fun
So enjoyed visiting with these characters for a couple of days. Such fun. I have to just add my personal opinion that I really don't like Val at all. No redeeming that I can see ever emerging. Loved his trip to Italy so much. Laughed.

Enjoyable
Great for holiday read as light and fairly easy to follow and sprinkled with humour and sunshine. It's different from her other art history novels. Would comment it.

why on earth did she marry Valdemar? a trafficked about a very troubled family.
