Some of the issues I had with book, is from the fact that it was published 25 years ago. There are clearly aspects of school counseling that have changed, but from this book, there is plenty that is the same. It was nice to have a refresher on solution-focused techniques and to have validation in many of the techniques I have employed for almost 20 years. The final chapter on bringing solution-focused practice to the entire school was a great idea and I appreciate the tips and tools to roll it out.
