Pop-up. My first book and one of my dearest possessions.

A reprint of the Victorian picture book, Peeps into Fairy Land, this is a short but sweet collection. The stories are all nice, but the divine pop-up illustrations are the highlights! The swan boat and Snow Queen ones are jaw-droppingly gorgeous. Any Victorian child who had this visual confection in their nursery was lucky indeed!
