Julian St. Albans and Alex Benedict celebrate the Solstice with a visit to the wish tree, and a holiday party at their flat. A little holiday gift to the readers of my Consulting Magic series!

This story comes after the events in the second book, The Apprenticeship of Julian St. Albans.

A wonderful Solstice short with Alex and Julian and all their friends and family! Long or short Amy Crook writes beautifully and with lots of heart!

It's been a long time since I read the earlier 2 books in the series so I had fun remembering the secondary characters. It didn't really matter though as this was just a Solstice party at Alex and Julian's place for their friends.
A nice little holiday read.

Rosemary for the Holidays is a short story taking place after the events in The Apprenticeship of Julian St. Andrews. It shows us how Alex and Julian live their everyday life, working and sharing time together, to culminate with them hosting a party to celebrate the solstice. In this party we have the chance to glimpse all the characters who have had any relevance in the previous books, like Alex’s job mates Lapointe, Thomas McLean, or Tiny, their guardians Jacques and James, Jones, Father Steph ...more

A nice, warm, feel good holiday read - in this case Solstice - with the cast of characters from the previous books.
I've only just read Book 1 so some of the references and people were new to me, but the main gathering were old friends.
Julian has obviously moved onto magic studies in book 2.
Definitely one that means more and makes sense only if you've read the books.

*sigh* now I want more

Nice short read that give us insight in all character we got to like (or not) in first two books.

I especially like how Horace becomes more of a pet

A deliciously sweet short story, like a refreshing little dessert after the two main books. Somehow managing to pack in all the cast favourites, humans & fae alike, and stuff them all with food. ♥

A sweet little addition to the two volumes, full of happy feelings and not much else, aside from the sex scene requisite for this type of short story. :P

Sweet short story! ♡ I love reading about Alex and Julian and their various friends! There were some additional characters in this book that were from the first book. It makes me want to reread! :)

So sweet of the author to give a free Christmas story! I like these characters and was pleased to visit them again. Hoping for more to come in the future.
