Freddie gets a crack at his first big case when a former childhood friend hires him to find her brother. Things are not what they seem when Freddie finds himself face to face with the end of a sawed-off shotgun and the least likely of suspects.
Freddie's Dead was funny, at times snarky, and very suspenseful. I liked the suspenseful buildup, the touches of romance, the flashes of gunfire (very realistic)and the sharply drawn characters. Looking forward to this author's next novel.
