To me, this was more like a journey and less like just reading a very good collection of books. You are following the lives of the great Olympian Gods. Mostly Ares, the God of War, who no longer lives in Olympus since his banishment over 200 years ago He lives in a huge cave he turned into a home, with his stable of beautiful women. On an Isolated Island in the Medaterranean sea ...Accused of a most heinous crime which he was framed for. The only one who could successfully accomplish such a thing is an Olympian. But who? And more importantly why? .... 200 years, and still no closer to exposing the truely quilty party.... but hey, Olympian Gods have nothing better to do since the human world with their progressions over the centuries stopped believing in or needing them, well, you've heard that saying about.... Absolute power corrupts absolutely. .... so we have all these Gods, each with their own powers, who mostly are all vying for the top position in Olympus currently held by Zeus, so he has power over everyone and everything. Oh Yeah, he is also Ares father, next in the line of suggestion. But wait! He's been bannished. The playing field is pretty level..... There is so much more going on beside and at times within the relentess pursuit for ultimate domination of Olympus. But unknown by the others, one Olympian has already begun his campaign, and if he is successful, it will decimate the human world too! On top of this, Olympians have been disappearing.... what is going on with that?.... then a human woman washes up on the shore of Ares Island. Who is she and how in the worlds did manage to get through all the deturants and deadly traps out there. After all, he is the God of War! This little bomb shell of a woman, is about to change his life forever. Magdalena is on the run, hiding from the one she is promised to. It's the why and the who of it all that is about to bring chaos to Ares door. ... just keep in mind that nothing is random. The universe has the plan, and we are always where we are suppose to be, or pretty damn close. And everything has a purpose, everyone has a part to play in order to complete the "Big Picture"..... Magdalena and Ares both had me enthralled by the sheer intensity of the relationship that formed between them. It seemed doomed so many times by all the evil, conniving, trickery going on relentlessly. Constantly. And from those closest to them. I had to take a break from reading a couple of times and a day after I finished just to let it all roll around in my head. The tragities ran deep. The realities were unforgiving and cruel. I had to figure out how I truly felt. Did I like it? I have never been so gob smacked. I wasn't sure if I could even review it. I hope I didn't give anything away, because you really need to go to Olympus and meet the Olympians cold. I do recommend this to adults only please, and Good Luck.
The Heart of War I just love Mythology. This was a great intense, emotional, funny, action-packed book. We are talking about Gods so Mythology lovers the characters are consistent and boldly unapologetic. The writing was great and readers will appreciate. The sex scene were off the hook. I love just all a truly bad villain. There was so much intrigue, danger, and betrayal; the revenge is so sweet.
Child of War - A God is Born I cannot get enough of this book. This is a great page-turner with blood vows, secrets, lies, adultery, murder, and treason. I enjoy so many WTF moments with Zeus, Apollo, Aphrodite, Ares, Eros, Poseidon, Hades, and Athena. Talk about characters who are literally selfish with jealousy. Their viewpoints of conniving deceptions will have readers screaming. ***I must point out the child will have reader thinking of every horror flick ever made.
Christmas Eve on Olympus I enjoyed my very erotic Mythological Christmas Tale! This was an sweet sexy short story of Aries and Maggie with their young son Raven celebrating Christmas and Yule. ***Readers will learn Olympians do not celebrate holidays, but this family is honoring many traditions.
Child of War-Rising Son This book is mind blowing. I cannot wrap my head around these Gods there is a baby Rose which the Gods has turn their back on. As a reader I am loosing a lot of sleep, which is a good thing. These characters are dark, dangerous and beautifully disturbing. The mythology has horror, dystopia, and less not forget this is an erotic paranormal. *** As a reader, I enjoy this gritty, sexy, rollercoaster ride and I love the ride.
Women of War Wow, wow, and wow. This is the history of women in Alena's bloodline, spanning four generations. Readers will learn all the gap to so many unanswered question's about her back story. Apollo, Apollo, Apollo, if the readers hasn't hated him before after reading what he done. Sex and violence is strong in the novel. Talk about a gripping, page-turning; readers will remembered this one long after the last page is read.
Kingdoms of War Long live sexy, dark, twisted, Gods. I love this series. There are some many WTF my review cannot do it justice. The thrilling finale with dangerous and wickedly sexy characters had me twisted. My favorite villain is Apollo and I love him. If there was ever a series that took a reader out of it's comfort zone, this series is a pot of gold.
