is it cheating to put my textbooks on here?
Read all of part 1 and some of part 3 for my applied DE course.
Very decent book and is a good introductory text. Some subchapters did feel rushed.

December 5, 2010Just emptied a box-full of old books and found this at the bottom. It's inspiring my inner nerd to come out and tackle some partial-derivatives.
A typical university text-book that quickly becomes very boring - especially when trying to re-learn what I've forgotten and learn those chapters not covered in the curriculum ages ago !
As the title describes, book covers advanced topics in Calculus and Algebra with emphasis on various fields of engineering.

I'm using this book as a reference for vector and matrix calculus, as well as differential equations. It is a very good book.
