This impressive book was published in an updated version in 2003. The book initially appeared in 1988 and, in this edition, is brought up through 2002. Since another ten years has gone by, another update might be warranted. Ten years is a long time when you focus on war. When, in my lifetime, has the U.S. not been involved in a war?
