【Callum's POV】We both tugged on our balaclavas, then pulled our helmets over our heads, visors up. Without thinking, I grabbed the strap of hers and fastened it, tugging to make sure it was secure. It felt like protection. The bare minimum I could do to keep her safe.

Whoa, I swear I'm ADDICTED to this series. Not gonna lie, I was 100% hypnotized by whatever spell Caitlyn cast on me. Not only could I not put this book down, but I also had a hard time moving on after that cliffhanger. I thought the first book, Overdrive, was already incredible enough, but now it was safe to say that Close Contact was EVEN BETTER!!!! Like, how was that possible?!

In Close Contact, gone was the slow-burning tension between Callum and Auri, their sizzling romance took over instead. One thing I loved about expanding this series into five books was that we got to see so much more details regarding their romantic relationship, more nerve-wracking F1 games, along with all the drama in this high-staked, competitive environment. Callum and Auri had to fight against their urge to be with each other game on and off, and it totally touched me when they could finally surrender to the undeniably strong yet natural chemistry.

Both of them apparently made each other a better version of themselves and even with their respective PR team intervening however they could, Callum had been standing by his Queen's, Auri's, side the entire time. He was there to celebrate her win (yep, our feisty gal's hard work eventually paid off), lift her up when she got knocked down by reality, and even taught her horrible ex a lesson...the list of his awesomeness went on and on. Seriously, this book made me fall in love with Callum so much more.

【Aurélie's POV】They always underestimate the ones who sit pretty and say "thank you." I wasn't here to break rules. I was here to weaponize them. To color just inside the lines--so that when they tried to penalize me, I could hand them their own damn handbook and smile. They don't realize what happens when the thank you becomes watch me.

Of course, aside from Callum, the main subjects of this series remained consistent: fearless female mc and girl power. Auri was the epitome of a woman SLAYING in a male-dominated industry, one who knew how to use her voice and make the crowd listen. She'd got beauty and brain, and with the cliffhanger in this book, I was certain that she would not stay quiet like everyone expected. She was gonna ROAR and I couldn't wait to witness it!

All in all, Caitlyn once again nailed it with Close Contact. The speed got speedier and the smut smuttier...I had never been more ready for the next book, Flat Out, coming October 1st, 2025! If you hadn't gotten into this exhilarating Formula One fantasy, please remedy that ASAP!! You could thank me later.

***Massive thanks to the author for kindly providing me with an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.***

I absolutely loved Overdrive, but Close Contact just topped it.  How that is possible, I’m still processing, but I devoured this book and wish I could read it again for the first time. The emotions and intimacy in this book had me in my feels and I felt like I was part of their relationship. They are perfection, despite having so much going on around them. And the spice we get in this book, GRAB A TOWEL because you’ll need it after sweating while reading some of these scenes!!

Everything about the writing feels poetic and kept my attention, making me crave more of Callum & Aurelie. This series is about so much more than Callum & Aurelie and this is why I'm loving it so much.  Aurelie is on a mission to make sure she isn't silenced and I am HERE FOR IT.

Thank you to Caitlyn P. Tajon for letting me ARC read this in exchange for my honest review!

This series just keeps getting better. I loved Overdrive, the first book in this series, but Aurélie and Callum’s love declarations in English and French in Close Contact had me swooning. Of course, the forbidden romance or secret relationship continues for much of this book but the spicy scenes make up for the wait for them to declare their love for each other to the world. Thank you to Caitlyn P. Tajon and Smuthood Promotional Services for the opportunity to read this early!

ARC Review
Close Contact is the second book of the Speed Demons series by Caitlyn P Tajon. We picked where we left off with Callum and Aurelie's story. We are in Monaco. The most anticipated race on the grid. So much messy drama, and I'm here for it. Marco and Kimi are in this book more than the first, and I'm glad they are. The banter between the four of them is the best. The spice between Callum and Aurelie's is off the charts. I didn't think book two would live up to the spice in book one, but ohhh my God did Tajon deliver on the spice in Close Contact! I can't wait for book three! I'm hooked on this series! Add Close Contact to your TBR. As always, check for trigger warnings before reading!

Dual POV

I absolutely loved book 2 of Speed Demons. The rush, the female rage, the spice, the possessiveness, the worshiping, the racing... all of it. Speed Demons isn't just a spicy romance between two drivers in the top tier world of car racing. No, Close Contact- book 2 - was about female equality, trust, loyalty, and fighting back against the patriarchy. I freaking loved it.

I wish Aurelie was a real person. I know there are women in Formula 3 today, and since I am a F1 fan... I would love to have a woman racing in F1 to support and cheer for. I love her character. She's faced so much discrimination, bullying, belittling just because she's female in a male-dominated sport. She's fire. And those last few chapters of Close Contact...... girl, burn. it. down. I'm dying for book 3 just to see what your match lit up. I'm here for it.

The romance part of this story- I loved how Callum and Aurelie couldn't even make it 4 days without needing one another. I loved their relationship this book and was so glad to see them BOTH support the other. It was sexy, it was fierce, and it was beautiful. However, WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THAT CLIFFHANGER? I need answers immediately! Because right now, I'm pissed at Callum and I don't want to be. I'm hoping its just all a misunderstanding. It better be. Because I will riot.

Also, the banter/ group texts between Callum, Auri, Kimi, and Marco was hilarious. I literally laughed out loud. I love Kimi and Marco so much! I hope they get books in the future :) Okay, I'm going to go process those last few chapters of this book because so much went down and I'm here for 98% of it lol.

Overdrive was AMAZING and had me hooked on the series but Close Contact?!! It has me OBSESSED!!

So much happens in this book and it is STEAMIER and more fast paced than book 1, but I am even more invested in Aurélie and Callum!

I’m a huge F1 fan and Caitlyn P Tajon gives us an incredible F1 romance! With a cliffhanger that has me crying for more!! I cannot wait for book 3!!

book 2 in the 5 part series and we got our other expected cliffhanger.

Auri and Callum are back at it: racing, sneaky spicy sessions, and being each other’s biggest fans.

we got more passion, more victories, more proof that the men are determined to silence Auri.

and baby, we’re just getting started.

I loved this part 2 of Speed Demons and the love story between Cal & Auri. they’re both so perfectly obsessed with each other and it’s downright delicious at how feral they make each other.

Caitlyn P. Tajon. Caitlyn. P. Tajon. Caitlyn FREAKING TAJON.
A million stars, all the stars, every single one of them.
How do I even write this review because the words I have for this book just completely render me speechless. The way this book makes you feel, love, beg for more, grow, worship the ground characters walk on, and scream from the top of your lungs that LOVE is worth EVERYTHING. This book proves exactly that. Love is worth everything, with the right person.

There is something about the way Caitlyn writes a story, it’s with such precision, importance, and outcome driven. It feels like a book that someone poured their entire heart into and I know that this is exactly what she did. These characters hearts POUR out in this story, their hopes, their dreams, their fears, theirs wants, their needs, and then add in their desire to race on the track. Speechless. There are a million words to write about this book, and apart of me wants to lay every bit out there for you, but the other part of me really just needs you to go into this book blind - go into this book after you finished the cliffhanger from Overdrive and FEEL everything.

I fell in love with Aurélie and Callum, in Overdrive, book 1. I thought there was no possible way that this book could top that one. There was no way. Until I read this book in a 30 hour period. All 460+ pages, in less than 30 hours. In one singular day, I read 60% of this book, stayed up until ungodly hours, and I could not put it down.
The character development just continues so strong in this book. We get a deeper look into each characters life, a TON more into their personal lives, and even meeting families. While we all love Auri and Cal, we cannot forget Kimi and Marco too... they are apart of this too. They play such a huge role in Overdrive, BUT gosh, wait until you get them in Close Contact... you won’t be able to stop laughing, and loving them too.

This book takes you on a total rollercoaster, a fun one, an exciting one.. GOD ONE I JUST NEVER WANT TO GET OFF OF. I cannot wait for everyone to read this book because I was to shout it from the top of the world how phenomenal this book is. It’s everything and more.

The sexual chemistry! The longing! The desire! The love! The want! The need!
The way I screamed throughout this book.. kicked my feet.. screamed some more. Nothing compares.
This is MY sports romance of the YEAR. No doubt about it.

Infinity stars, my girl. Infinity FREAKING stars.

Now, BRING ON FLAT OUT!

Thanks to @thesmuthood and @caitlynptajon for the advance copy!

I loved Overdrive, but that one leaned more slow burn for a while before the spice kicked in. Close Contact kicks it up several gears with fast pacing and plenty of spice.

Aurélie is still fighting to prove herself during her rookie season after stepping into her brother’s seat, while Callum is determined to show her how much he cares. Tajon doesn’t shy away from the very real challenges Aurélie faces as a woman in a male dominated sport, including the toll it takes on her mental health. I especially loved how Callum is a steady source of support, giving her space to lead while still being there for her.

I love the details Tajon gives both about the tracks and F1 in general, making this a great read for serious F1 fans and newbies as well.

I also loved that we see more of Kimi and Marco and the relationship they are building with Auri. It’s giving found family vibes.

The on-track action, behind the scenes details, and relationship tension are all written so well, you can feel the sparks flying whenever these two are near each other.

And that cliffhanger?! I wasn’t ready. I cannot wait to see where books 3–5 take this series!

I am truly obsessed with Callum and Aurélie. I fell so head over heels for them in Overdrive that I didn’t think it was possible to love them any more than I already do. And boy was I wrong. I became even MORE obsessed with them in Close Contact. Their connection, them needing each other like it’s a necessity to life, and the amount of love they have for each other. Aurélie is a bad ass formula 1 driver that just keeps making her way to the top. Callum is PERFECTION and so supportive of her that it’s seriously the sweetest thing. Also, the spice be SPICINNNNN! I swear it’s one of the best written spice I have ever read-Top tier work! Just wait till you read the shower and gym scene! 🥵

I’m so grateful these books are releasing so close together, because these cliffhangers man! Cait does amazing work and I know these books just keep getting better and better. This series has made my heart race more than ever! 🩷

I needed a few business days to process my thoughts.
I took them and I am still not well.
What a freaking masterpiece was this
I ate it up everything!!!
The angst in here holy shitballs but the tension the love the spice.
It was having it all.
And the story took me so in that even I was questioning it all.
I didn’t trust anyone not even myself while reading.
And you have to be one hell of an author to do that!
Caitlyn has written this story with such a passion such love such greatness i can’t be anything else but obsessed.
I was laughing I was crying I was feeling proud i went to all the different stages one can feel.
I felt all the emotions one can feel.
And I still want more. It’s not enough it will never be enough.
Book 3 can’t come soon enough because with that ending??? Its not only a need it’s a must.
And ill be waiting patiently for the next masterpiece.
Because another masterpiece it will be. I am 100% sure of that!

Caitlyn always knows how to make me fall for her characters. Getting to read the next book of Callum & Aurélie's story was just the best news of my summer. Especially after the cliffhanger of Overdrive. I loved the whole book and how the relationship between them evolved. I also cannot wait to see how the second characters will evolve after the appearance of Ivy. I was surprised by all the emotions that got to me, from being swoony for the main couple to being utterly enraged against some other characters. There is still so much to unwind and to fight, but I can surely say that Close Contact and the overall Speed Demons series is just amazing and my favorite of the year <3

No surprise here but this is another 5 star for Caitlyn P. Tajon!!

This series has made me addicted to F1 racing and we are only 2 books in. But catch me following all the F1 drivers on my IG and watching the series on Netflix.

I am obsessed with Callum and Auri and I am even more obsessed with how much Callum is obsessed with Auri. I am fully thriving on the drama and chaos, the competition, the chemistry. And, as we can expect with any Caitlyn book- the SPICE was 5 pepper, all the alarms.

Thank God this is a rapid release series because I need book 3 yesterday

"I raised my fist again, this time for me.
For the girl who'd spent countless nights in a simulator, chasing a dream everyone told her was impossible and always living in the shadows. For the women and girls who stood on the sidelines, told they didn't belong. For every doubt, every sneer, every roadblock. I hoped someone was watching today and feeling inspired to chase their dreams."

This book was... everything.
Aside from it being a whirlwind of romance- filled with longing, stolen glances, scorching touches and raw emotions- it was a story of a woman realizing the cruel reality of motorsports and singlehandedly taking it upon herself to fight for women.

Aurelie is one heck of a power woman and I am in awe after this book. This book shows resilience, demands respect for women in male dominated fields. It shows everything that is wrong with motorsports and the hoops women have to jump through just to be looked at as more than a pretty smile. While the story is fictional, none of the struggles shown are. The world of motorsport is inherently sexist and misogynistic.

I admire Caitlyn for the way she wrote this story. Yes, we get a beautiful romance story of two souls intensely intertwined and fighting against the world that is against them. But this story is so much more than just a love story between Callum and Aurelie. And I immensely appreciate Caitlyn for that. As a woman who's loved F1 for years, it's refreshing to see it not be romanticized for once. While the sport ís evolving, we have a long way to go. And fictional or not, it is highlighted in this intense story of fighting for whats right.

The cliffhanger had me on the edge of my seat, shaking with anticipation. And I cannot wait to see what book 3 will bring- both for Callum & Aurelie together aswell as the waves Aurelie is creating in the sport. 🤍

More scandals and more spice!

I was taking my time with this one. I'm so invested in these two like there's no tomorrow!! It just keeps getting more scandals and spicer as we go. The development between Aurelie and Callum relationship is everything. This man is wanting her to succeed and is going to stand beside her until the end!! Just as the first book the details the author puts when describing the racing scenes are amazing. You as the reader can see it play out as if it were a movie. I am beyond excited for the next one !!

ARC Review: 5⭐️

Close Contact is book 2 in the Speed Demons series featuring Callum Fraser & Aurélie Dubois. Close Contact picks up right where Overdrive leaves off and will need to be read in order!

After Aurélie tries breaking things off between her and Callum, the teams travel to Monaco for the next Grand Prix. Callum however isn’t ready to go down without a fight.

After overhearing some of her team members making comments about her body, being the only women on the grid and the threats of her team replacing her next season, Aurélie hits a rough patch and it’s Callum they comes to her rescue.

The two spend a spicy evening together in his flat in Monaco. Despite their best efforts, rumours continue to fly about their involvement with one another outside of the paddock. Their teams warn them away from each other but it’s too late for them to stop.

When things hit a boiling point at the Montreal Grand Prix, and the truth of their relationship is revealed will they be able to survive what happens next ?

Holy. Smokes. I honestly wasn’t sure this series could get any better after Bow much I loved Overdrive but Caitlyn did not disappoint! This story had me on the edge of my seat from page one and I fell even more in love with these two! I cannot wait until Flat Out is in my hands !

Thank you Caitlyn for the ARC opportunity !

✨Welcome to Monaco✨

GUYS. I am completely BLOWN AWAY! Caitlyn is taking over the grid babbyyyy! I love every dang second of this one! The plot, the romance and THE SPICE! Pure perfection and I cannot wait to see Auri burn the world down! Flat Out cannot come soon enough!!

Auri. My badass b!tch! Talk about a woman who needs no one to stand on her own! This girl is taking the grid by storm and will literally knock down anyone in her path! I loved watching Auri knock down her own walls to let Callum in. Watching her be loved was oh so beautiful and I cannot wait to see these two in the spotlight!

Callum. My sweet sweet man. This man hasn’t loved before but reading the sweet ass words that come out of this man’s mouth literally had me kicking my feet! Callum is literally the definition of a man obsessed. He will take down every single person who stands in Auri’s path. I loooved watching Callum fall and man oh man does he fall HARD.

So let me start off by saying, we pick up RIGHT where we left off so there is absolutely no slow burn with this one! Spice full steam ahead! And man oh man was it a spicy good time. I will say the gym scene will live rent free babbyyyy. Like I have zero words. My jaw was just on the ground. I love when both MC’s have a dirty mouth, sign me up babbyy!

Ok so let’s chat. We start off right where Overdrive ended..heading to Monaco. Auri and Callum arrive in Monaco and can’t keep their hands to themselves but let be honest we don’t want them too. 🤭 Auri and Callum need to learn to love in the quiet and watching them fall is oh so sweet and romantic. But with these two taking over the grid they are bound to create some enemies and Auri and Callum need to learn how to survive together before they can take on the world one enemy at a time.

THANK YOU Caitlyn P. Tajon and The Smuthood PR for an advanced copy of this book!

This is book 2 (of 5) in the Speed Demons series and this one was even better than the first. Aurélie and Callum’s love for each other is what literal dreams are made of. His obsession with her is DROOL worthy. Aurélie is a woman who was meant to be heard. Callum has built her up and stood beside her. Watching her fall apart was so hard to read, but probably because it resonates.

The spice in this book is some of the best I have ever read. It’s so much more than physical. The emotional connection between these characters is expressed through “pain and poetry”. And it is beautiful

I am an unwell with the ending and need book 3 yesterday. Caitlyn has promised us a HEA and I will hold her to that!

Start with Overdrive (out now). These books MUST be read in order.

The second book in a continuous five book series, which built on the steamy relationship that was building between Callum and Aurélie, but this book definitely has more drama and Aurélie gets to demonstrate the fire she has burning inside her, especially when tragedy strikes, warnings ignored and her team and the sports higher ups treat her like a liability.

Callum was so supportive of her, and I am definitely looking forward to reading book three and finding out why their has been a sudden change in his treatment of Aurélie, with saw this book end with emotional cliffhanger.

Can I just say that I enjoyed Kimi and Marco and the bond that has developed between them and Aurélie, it was perfection.

Thank you for the ARC.

**WARNING: Do NOT read this review if you haven’t read the first in the series- Overdrive**

My second book by Caitlyn P Tajon and the second in the Speed Demons series and I wasn’t disappointed. This one was just as good as Overdrive, and I have given it another very deserved 5 star rating!

Spice: 4/5

After one night of giving themselves over to their urges Aurélie and Callum are thrown back into the real world….and the F1 world is as harsh as ever! The fans are going wild for #frabois but Aurélie’s team, Luminis, not so much, and Aurélie starts to hear rumours about losing her seat with the team when the current season ends. One night isn’t enough to extinguish the flame that burns between Callum and Aurélie and they are both finding it increasingly harder to stay apart from each other but with the frenzy of the F1 world they find they need anchoring and that anchor is being together. However, with team orders, F1 rival problems and other issues all causing complications, can Callum and Aurélie really contemplate a future together? They are sick of sneaking around and hiding how they feel about each other, equally knowing that at some point they will get careless and will be found out. With the systemic misogyny in F1 going public will do little to harm Callum’s F1 career but what will going public mean for rookie Aurélie’s budding F1 career that she has worked so hard for amongst the sexism in the sport?! And is it better to be found out or to come clean themselves?!

Another great read from Caitlyn P Tajon. I was so excited to start book two and I certainly wasn’t disappointed; it was magnificent to be back in Aurélie and Callum’s world.
(Continued in comments)

I really enjoyed the depiction of the Monaco Grand Prix- it was perfectly described and exactly how I felt when I was there- it’s more about the glitz and glamour than the actual racing- but then that’s the beauty of Monaco! This story definitely wrung out some different emotions for me…. I was so proud of Aurélie in Chapter 6- what a LEGEND but then pretty soon after I was furious for her (sorry a little cryptic but this is a spoiler free review!). Chapter 26 made my jaw drop and I was also punching the air at the same time- that was a very unexpected and exciting twist I didn’t see coming (again sorry for the cryptic-ness). Kimi and Marco made me laugh a lot through the story with their banter with both Callum and Aurélie and I absolutely LOVED Ivy and look forward to reading more about her.

Overall, another smasher of a read from Caitlyn P Tajon. I am absolutely loving the Speed Demon series and the next book, Flat Out, can’t come quick enough!! I can’t wait to be back in Aurélie and Callum’s world!! Bring on book three!

The Speed Demons series by Caitlyn P. Tajon has me in a chokehold, seriously, I am obsessed. This isn’t just my favorite series of the year, it’s up there as one of my all time favorites. Whatever Tajon is doing, it’s pure magic, because I feel like I’m living inside these books. And Close Contact? Somehow it managed to top Overdrive (which I didn’t think was even possible).

Callum and Aurélie are FIRE. Their chemistry? Off the charts. Their intimacy? It’s not just spice (though oh my God, it’s so good!), it’s emotional, vulnerable, and so real it makes me feel like I’m in the relationship with them. I love that Tajon shows all sides of them; not just the honeymoon phase, but the jealousy, the struggles, and the heartbreak. That’s what makes them feel so alive, and why I can’t stop rooting for them.

And can we talk about Monaco? That race had me holding my breath. Watching Aurélie win was one of my favorite moments of the whole series so far. Part of me wanted to just freeze the story there so I could live in that perfect high forever, but of course Tajon doesn’t let us off easy. The drama, the tragedy, the emotional cliffhanger, my heart is wrecked, but in the best way.

I also loved how much more Marco and Kimi we got in this book. Their banter with Callum and Aurélie was amazing. The four of them together just work so well, and it made the story feel bigger than just one couple; it’s about friendship, loyalty, and how people hold each other up when everything is on the line.

What really gets me, though, is Aurélie. She’s fierce, she’s fiery, and she refuses to be silenced. Every time she stands her ground, I’m cheering. She’s a heroine who demands to be heard, and Tajon wrote her so beautifully that I feel every win and every setback right alongside her.

But let’s circle back to the spice because… wow. I went in thinking there’s no way book two could beat book one in that department. I was so wrong. It’s hotter, yes, but also so much more emotional. The connection between them is pure “pain and poetry,” and I loved every second of it.

The ending? Left me in shambles. I need book three yesterday. Tajon promised us a happily ever after, and I am clinging to that because my heart cannot handle otherwise.

This series is a wild, emotional, addictive rollercoaster, and I never want to get off. Close Contact has officially ruined me in the best possible way, and I can’t wait to dive headfirst into whatever comes next.

"Officially, we wait until the end of the season." I nodded, silently agreeing. "Unofficially?"
"I'm yours," he said softly, pale blue eyes meeting mine. "Every second we can steal."
I sighed, brushing my fingers along his jaw.
"This feels an awful lot like our friends with unconventional benefits arrangement."
"You mean the one that lasted four days?"
"Ouais. That one."

***this is book two of an ongoing series, Speed Demons. YOU HAVE to read book one, Overdrive, first before reading this.

Okay, if book one was just an amazing into into this series, this book proved why it needs to be a series. Callum and Aurelie are ATTRACTED to each other (allll the spice scenes of this book was just amazing) but the F1 worl is still being sexist towards A so they are keeping the relationship quiet. But this book, more and more people start learning about the relationship (and I LOVED KIMI & MALLCUM finding out — had me cackling). I loved the romance, who faithful and supportive Callum is at every corner, and I just want to hug Aurelie and make her my bestie to love and defend because her family sure as shite aren't doing a good enough job)

"I couldn't keep my eyes off you. You drove like a fucking goddess. I wanted to rip this suit off you the second you overtook me."
"You called me your love," I whispered, my hands fisting his suit by his hips, finally finding my words as I pulled his hips closer. "You said—"
"I meant it," he rasped. "And if you keep looking at me like that, I'm going to make a scene."

AND HOLY COW THE LAST 15% OF THIS BOOK?! I cried, I hyperventilated, I swooned, and then I started pulling my hair out (I'm writing this review having only read the 'her" edition, but gonna go read Callum's POBV of the final chapters for extra info cause I can'ttttttt wait to read Flat Out! (So thankful o the rapid release schedule for this series. Only having to wait 3 weeks is a blessing).

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review — Close Contact (Speed Demons #2) by Caitlyn P. Tajon

Caitlyn P. Tajon has done it again — and somehow turned the heat up even higher. Close Contact isn’t just a romance, it’s a wild, adrenaline-fueled ride that grabs you and doesn’t let go.

I devoured both book one and book two in just three days because this series is that addictive. The writing is sharp, emotional, powerful, and oh-so-spicy. Aurelie and Callum’s rivals-to-lovers tension is everything: forbidden desire, forced proximity, obsession, high-stakes racing, and a cliffhanger that left me yelling at my Kindle.

Aurelie is the kind of heroine I want to be when I grow up — fierce, unshakable, and determined to carve her place in a male-dominated sport. And Callum Fraser? Let’s just say Caitlyn perfectly captures why race car drivers are so dangerously irresistible. 👀

The intimacy between Aurelie and Callum practically bleeds off the page. One moment that floored me:

“A story, nothing special. Just a blurry photo of the city skyline from her hotel window.
But I saw her reflection in the glass, her silhouette in my hoodie with my driver number stitched across her shoulder… Not hiding. Just waiting.”

And then there’s the kind of line that makes your heart stop and stay lodged in your chest:

“Because the world could burn, and I’d still come back here—to this.
To her.
Always.”

The stakes are high, the chemistry is scorching (5🌶️, no question), and yet it’s not just about speed and spice. Close Contact is about girl power, ambition, and refusing to shrink yourself to fit into anyone else’s expectations. It’s about breaking ceilings, owning your sexuality, and chasing your dreams like the track is on fire.

With three more books to come in the Speed Demons series, Caitlyn has built a world that’s sexy, suspenseful, and impossible to walk away from. If you want a romance that’s bold, empowering, and hotter than a Formula 1 crash at Monaco, this is the one.

🔥 Rivals-to-lovers
🔥 Forbidden desire
🔥 High stakes + higher spice (5🌶️)
🔥 Found family
🔥 Girl power

This book is fast, furious, and unforgettable. Buckle up — the Speed Demons series is just getting started!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review of Close Contact by Caitlyn P. Tajon

Speed Demons, Book 2

Caitlyn P. Tajon has officially cemented herself as a must-read name in Formula 1 romance. Close Contact takes everything I loved about Overdrive and turns the intensity up to maximum speed—higher stakes, deeper emotions, and a romance that burned slow but hit hard.

Aurélie and Callum’s dynamic is pure electricity. She’s the fiery rookie determined to carve out her place in a male-dominated sport, and he’s the reigning champion who can’t seem to stay away despite every reason he should. Their rivalry kept me hooked, but it’s the stolen moments, the tender cracks in their armor, and the way their connection builds through every lap and every heartbreak that made me fall in love with them.

The pacing is flawless—equal parts adrenaline-fueled action on the track and emotional, character-driven storytelling off it. I adored how Caitlyn balanced the thrill of racing with the vulnerability of two people fighting for both their careers and their hearts. By the time the slow burn combusts into full-blown passion, I was breathless and cheering.

Favorite Tropes You’ll Find:
• ✅ Rivals-to-lovers tension that sizzles
• ✅ Forced proximity in the high-stakes racing world
• ✅ Slow burn with an explosive payoff
• ✅ Found-family vibes from the racing team
• ✅ Dual-edition storytelling (His & Hers) for extra layers

Close Contact is emotional, addictive, and achingly romantic. It’s the kind of book that stays with you long after you turn the last page—and makes you desperate for the next installment in the Speed Demons series.

✨ Rating: 5 stars, 4 spice ✨
High-octane adrenaline meets heartfelt romance. Caitlyn P. Tajon has written my favorite F1 love story yet.
