These Are the Garments
This careful and penetrating study of the High Priestly Robes of Aaron is unsurpassed in both its detail and application. Slemming vividly reveals the Old Testement roots of Christianity with intensely practical application for today's believers. He uncovers the deep connection between the spiritual significance of the garments, and the High Priestly Ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ.

A fascinating study, I was surprised by how devotional this book was, some wonderful moments for reflection! The author does a great job of bringing out so many wonderful things to sit on and really appreciate!
Going into this book I didn’t know anything about Slemming so was slightly caught off guard by some of his more out there dispensationalist remarks however, these weren’t super prevalent and have not thrown me off from reading more of his work in the future which I hope to do!

Mr. Slemming does a wonderful job of putting a microscope on these scriptures in Exodus, then following the threads in the tapestry of Bible history to drive home the significance and careful thought and symbolism of each and every element of the High Priest’s garments. He delicately ties each piece, tribe of Israel, even the placement of threads to sound biblical truth. I learned so much from this little treat written in 1955. If you ever see a copy, I would highly recommend snatching it up!
