Bay Area Players #1

Just for the Cameras

Rate this book
From New York Times bestselling author Meghan Quinn comes a sizzling sports romance full of flamingo feathers, slow-burn heat, and one grump-meets-sunshine love story that's anything but fake.

They're faking it for the cameras. But what if the sparks are real?

Graydon St. John doesn't do drama―or public appearances. The brooding defensive end for the San Francisco Foghorns prefers silence, solitude, and avoiding headlines. But when a league-wide PR scandal forces him into a media stunt at the city zoo, he's suddenly face-to-face with squawking birds, nosy fans, and the zookeeper who seems to hate his guts on sight.

Maple Baker loves her flamingos. Loud, pink, messy? Sure. But they're hers. And the last thing she needs is a grumpy football player stomping into her sanctuary with a bad attitude and a bigger ego. Unfortunately, they've been paired for the zoo's new public outreach program, and the cameras are already rolling.

The banter is sharp. The tension is electric. And the more they pretend to play nice for the press, the more their fake flirtation starts to feel like something dangerously real.

But when family secrets, viral fame, and a PR romance gone off-script threaten everything Maple's worked for, Graydon must decide if he's willing to fight for love―or let it slip away to protect her.

When I was in high school I occasionally read books but was consumed by other teenage things so I didn't take the time to appreciate a good book on a cloudy day, wrapped up in a blanket on the couch. It wasn't until I received a Kindle for Christmas one year that my world completely flipped upside down. When looking for books I came across the Contemporary Romance genre and was sold and I haven't turned back since.

You can either find my head buried in my Kindle, listening to inspiring heart ripping music or typing away on the computer twisting and turning the lives of my characters while driving my readers crazy with anticipation.

I currently reside in beautiful Colorado Springs where the sun is always shining and there is a trail waiting to be hiked on every corner. I share a lovely and warm home with the love of my life and my five, four-legged children.

this was so fun! i loved watching the relationship between graydon, a football player, and maple, a flamingo keeper, unfold. it was so sweet to watch graydon go from closed-off, grumpy man to full on lover boy for maple!! meghan quinns books always make me laugh and this was no exception! i giggled so much during this book!!!

i really enjoyed this one because i think it balanced an emotional and physical relationship very well. i definitely value a book with a strong emotional connection over a physical connection, but meghan balanced the two so well in this one and was able to demonstrate a strong emotional connection before going into the physical, which i really loved!!

thank you meghan quinn & hambright pr for the arc!!!📷🩷

Synopsis: Just for the Cameras is a laugh out loud, swoon-worthy romance that is sure to have you flying through the pages! When the San Francisco Foghorns face a PR crisis, they decide to send their star player to a zoo to help boost community morale. The team hasn’t won many games, and the last thing that Graydon St. John wants to do is waste his time at the zoo when he could be training for the next season. Especially not when he is paired with the flamingo keeper Maple Baker. Maple loves her job, and more than anything, she needs funding to improve the flamingo enclosure. So, when she is presented with a PR opportunity to fake date the star football player in exchange for a large donation, she jumps at the opportunity. As the two spend more time together, they realize that they may have misunderstood each other a little too harshly. Sparks fly as the two work to navigate their new reality, and when outside forces try to cut in, they realize that things are tougher than they seem.

My thoughts: Meghan Quinn does no wrong in my eyes! This was another fabulous read that had me hooked from the very beginning. I love a fake dating story, and Meghan is such a pro at immediately pulling you into the lives of the characters. Graydon was a strong, reserved MMC and Maple was a loud and outgoing FMC that you couldn’t help but love. I loved seeing their trade-off with the deal they made for each other. I won’t mention any spoilers, but the scenes of Maple training had me laughing out loud. Their chemistry was off the charts, and I was constantly begging for them to cross the line. When they finally did, it was like fireworks! The zoo setting was also such a fun and unique touch, and I loved getting to learn more about the flamingos.

My only complaint is that the book was a bit too long; it felt like it could have been cut down 100 pages. I also struggled at times with Graydon’s internal monologue compared to his real life actions. I didn’t love how he seemed to constantly think of Maple positively in his head but then turn around and do something that made it seem like he didn’t care about her at all. I wish he would have spoken up sooner about how he felt instead of belittling her one too many times.

Overall this was a great read and I recommend it!

Read this if you enjoy:
• PR romance
• fake dating turned real
• flamingo advocate and zoo keeper × football player
• protective MMC
• Grumpy × Sunshine
• slow burn
• incredible spice
• she wears his number
• a very funny group chat

This was my first book from Meghan Quinn and I was sooo excited to get this as an ARC. I've been wanting for a long time to read one of her books, but it actually scared me how popular they are.

I loved this sooo much! It was incredibly funny (sometimes almost too funny if that is even a thing), but it also had some hard topics... I adore how Meghan wrote about them and this just made me love this book so much more.

Graydon and Maple were such a cute couple and sooo funny. He was very grumpy and even mean at the beginning, I literally couldn't really like him for the first 20% of the book, but after getting to know him better I just love that man so much.

I am someone who enjoys spice in books so much and with this one I was actually panicking a little because it's definitely a slow burn and this book is very big. The spice does start at about 56% and it's freaking hot!!!

Sometimes it was a little childish with the jokes, but overall I loved it and enjoyed reading so much.

I am really hoping she will make a whole series with these characters because I want sooo much more!

I have this 4.25/5. This was so cute! We have Graydon a pro football player and a zookeeper Maple in a PR relationship by accident! They CAN NOT stand each other but are very attracted to each other. They are forced to work together for good PR. For him it’s good PR for his football team, which is not that popular, for her it’s for the flamingo 🦩 exhibit at the zoo. The banter in this book was so good and funny and cute. Highly recommend ❤️

This book had a lot of fun and humor along with real topics that were explored with the mmc. If you love fake dating with over the top rom com goodness you need to pick this up. The fmc is a zookeeper that has been paired with the mmc who is a grumpy star football player, for a pr relationship. The romance in this book is a classic opposites attract with a fmc that loves flamingos, and is a little over the top. The silly and fun banter is one of the things like about MQ books and there was a lot of this in this book. As they start the pr relationship we get to see more of both characters and the mmc is very broody and grumpy but we start to see why he is the way he is which was deep and touched some trauma that he and his family went through. The romance is a slow burn but in MQ fashion when they finally get together it was spicy spicy. I liked how the MCs grew in their relationship and celebrated some firsts with each other. At times especially in the beginning I felt like the mmc was a little too broody and that the humor was over the top but overall a fun romance. Thanks to MQ team for this arc for an honest review. I listened to the audiobook arc and I thought the production was excellent, it’s a duet narration and both narrators did a good job bringing to life the characters. I think audio is my favorite way to read MQ books now.

Read for:
- Fake dating
- Zookeeper fmc and football player mmc
- Grumpy x sunshine
- Slow burn

Favorite book so far of 2026! 5⭐️

I laughed. I cried. Meghan Quinn has outdone herself! This book delivers everything I love about a MQ romance: unique characters, laugh-out-loud banter, slow-burn tension that keeps you hooked, and chemistry that radiates off the page.

The grumpy x sunshine dynamic here is absolute perfection! Graydon exudes so much broody male energy. This defensive end would rather be anywhere but a zoo. At first I was like, "WOW, he is taking grump to a new level!" I wasn't sure he'd ever grow on me, but oh he did. This stoic ice king has a heart of gold hidden under all his layers. Meanwhile Maple is pure, flamingo-loving sunshine with a spirit that’s impossible to dim. Watching their fake-dating-for-PR arrangement slowly blur into something real was completely addictive. I found myself giggling and kicking my feet like crazy as Graydon’s gruff exterior finally began to crack for the woman determined to save her exhibit.

This story balances humor and spice with genuine heart. The steam is fresh, the payoff is worth every second of the wait, and the character growth is top tier. If you love a sports romance with sizzling tension and characters who feel like real people, add this to your TBR immediately! You'll thank me later!

Flamingo zookeeper meets professional football player in this adorable PR stunt that turned into real feelings (everyone is shocked 🤭).

The chemistry is on point. Graydon’s inner monologue is 70% infatuation with Maple’s butt, 20% grumpiness that he has to do something unrelated to football, and 10% hyperfixation on his abandonment issues. It’s a fun place to be.

Despite his perpetual grumpiness, Maple can appreciate other things about Graydon…“I don’t think I’ve ever seen such…such athleticism encompassed in one singular body. Are those muscles real?”

This isn’t my all-time favorite MQ book - it felt a little drawn out at times - but I’m excited for the other two books in the series, focused on OC (annoying but cute hockey player who forces his friendship on you) and Bennett (quiet and introspective baseball player who has a long term crush on his sister’s bestie).

Finally, I absolutely LOVE the crossovers in this book: Every and Hardy, JP (his love for birds ever expands). The MQ universe is my happy place, and the super short JP cameo was honestly one of my favorite scenes in the book.

Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️ (3/5)

Typical MQ RomCom vibes with some real raw feelings too.

Grayson is a complicated grumpy/ broody hockey player who has been tasked, along with two other pro-athletes, to help improve their team’s images.

Maple is a zoo keeper & flamingo advocate that is tasked with Grayson. The two have a strong dislike for each other, which grows into banter that will have you in stitches.

The two end up in a PR relationship- and you know that just eventually leads to a real relationship; flaws, hiccups and all!

More to come… for now here are my unhinged notes:

The cross - series references
PR relationship
The grumpy brooding
Gets her pink wrap when hurt
Redoes apartment
The “Gladdy Daddy” group chat
She wears his number
He’s totally spewing flamingo facts & getting those funds raised at

Honestly… Meghan Quinn just gets it. Every single time. This book was an instant favorite for me, and I devoured it way too fast. You know that feeling when you’re forced to put a book down, and you’re low-key annoyed at real life for interrupting? That was me the entire time reading this.

This one delivers everything I love about a Meghan Quinn romance: sharp, laugh-out-loud banter, slow-burn tension that hurts so good, and chemistry that feels effortless and real. The grumpy-meets-sunshine dynamic? Perfection. The fake-dating-for-PR trope? Executed so well I was kicking my feet and smiling like a crazy person.

Graydon is peak broody MMC energy, and Maple is pure sunshine with depth... funny, passionate, and impossible not to root for. Watching their fake interactions slowly blur into something real was addictive, and the way the story balances humor with heartfelt moments made it impossible to stop reading.

This book was engaging from the very first chapter and kept me wanting more long after I turned the last page. If you love sports romance, fake dating, sizzling tension, and characters that feel like real people, add this to your TBR immediately. 💕📖🔥

GOD DAMN. Meghan Quinn is a genius. She is one of the very few authors that can actually make me laugh out loud while reading. The narration for this book was TOP TIER and included Connor Crais, Teddy Hamilton, Jason Clarke, Emma Wilder, Samantha Brentmoor, Stella Hunter and JF Harding. UGH too good. Not only is the banter superb, but the depth of the characters and plot is something else. Meghan Quinn can always create a humorous, spicy romance plot with amazing characters and outstanding found family. The Gladdy Daddies chat...obsessed. OC and Graydon's "friendship" is the best thing to happen in 2026. Let's not even get into the spice 🥵. I am unashamed to admit how much of this book was highlighted on my kindle...

This was the perfect enemies to lovers, grumpy x sunshine, fake dating, sports romance (and thats just to name a few of the delicious tropes in this book). Please note, I HATE quirky main characters and find them cringey and hard to read about, BUT the one and ONLY exception to this is Meghan Quinn. I don't know how she does it, but she writes quirky, hilarious main characters that never make me cringe. Its truly a gift.

All I need now is both Bennett's and OC's love stories and I need them ASAP. Thanks.

Thank you to Meghan Quinn and her team for sending me an ALC of this book. Its such an honor to be able to listen to and review the masterpieces that she publishes.

I have read almost every book in Meghan Quinn’s extensive backlist. So when I say that Just for the Cameras is full of so much of what makes Meghan Quinn Meghan Quinn, trust that I have the credentials.

I LOVE when she incorporates characters from previous series. This is the first book in her newest series — so no homework is actually required — but if you’re a fan, you’ll recognize names from at least four other series.

Our FMC is sweet zookeeper Maple, who finds herself fake dating grumpy pro athlete Graydon. What’s in it for her? Good publicity to help save the flamingos, obvi.

Another bright spot: the group texts. Graydon’s exchanges with “the Gladdy Daddies” bring the comedic relief in an emotional-at-times story… and tee up OC and Bennett books I cannot wait to read!

My only gripe with this one is that Graydon was a liiitle too mean for my tastes. I like a grump but prefer him to be somewhat likable in spite of a devastating backstory. That said, he does earn points for two very cute grand gestures.

Thanks to the author and Hambright PR for an e-ARC in exchange for my review!

Everything about this book was perfection. I know @meghanquinnbooks said that you don’t have to read her other series to enjoy this BUT omg it was 200% better with knowing the references and having flashbacks to who she was talking about.

I was laughing, emotional and cackling
It’s like she got all the feel goods from the other series and made me want to reread them 20 more times. And the ending 😂👌 perfect in every way.

If you have not already thought about reading Just for the cameras out on Feb 3 please do. I have so much to yap about with this book.

Just for the Cameras by Meghan Quinn is a hilarious, spicy, grumpy/sunshine sports romance. Maple is a zookeeper who works with flamingos, and Graydon is a grumpy football star with a soft heart under the attitude. Why was this so long…592 pages should have been max 300!!! There was a lot of unnecessary content in the book and it felt disjointed. I didn’t love the main characters and just overall felt the story dragged. Had it been shorter and less unnecessary drama and angst I probably would have enjoyed it more but I was just looking to finish it already at like 75%

It wouldn't have been so exhausting were it not at least 30% longer than necessary, but the bigger problem is this huge, dramatically possessive, violently inclined man who makes decisions for everyone around him regardless of his inability to think his way out of a paper bag. Also? Are there adjectives other than beautiful and perfect? I've forgotten, as I've been stuck in the bottom end of this quagmire for waaaay too long.

Meghan has done it again!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

I did everything I could to savor this book and not binge it in one day because…let’s face it people. It’s Meghan Freaking Quinn! (And yes I have designated the middle name to ‘Freaking’ 😄) She’s my #1 top favorite author who got me back into reading many years ago and I am now trying to absorb every single book she has ever written including all the anthologies. I am just a huge MEGA FAN of hers all around! I’ve met her in person and she’s amazing at answering DMs on instagram and is just an awesome person.

BUT! About this book! Holy cow ladies and gentlemen! I think I have a new favorite! Graydon! I mean HELLO!

“At six foot five and two hundred and eighty-eight pounds of rock-hard muscle, I’m not a fucker to be messed with.” 😳

Guys, I don’t think any of the other hunks she’s written were ever this massive! Phew! And talk about the grumpiest of grumps! This man does NOT want to do any PR shenanigans. He does NOT want to have to spend time at a zoo of all places. And he does NOT want to be matched up with the damn pink flamingos! 🦩

And OH MY GOD YALL! For those of you who love OC?!! OC!!!!! THEEEE OC is here! Ugh…talk about a book I want to read again and again just because of the Gladdy Daddies! 🤣 Their chats had me ROLLING! Just the entire reasoning behind the name Gladdy Daddies had me spitting my food out and snorting. (Go read it because I’m not going to spoil that for you!) Holy heck did this book check all the boxes!

I mean

You have humor! - 5/5 ✅
You have spice! ✅ - guys I’m calling this one a 5/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ I’ve never read a Meghan Quinn book that started to make me sweat a little, sheesh! It was gooooooood.
Then you have the FEELS - 5/5 ✅ getting to know Graydon and his background and then there’s Maple who’s an absolute angel that he never knew he needed in his life.
You also have a VERY possessive MMC ✅ - “Touch her and die” vibes and “my lap is where you belong” 😂
And so much more!

I couldn’t get enough of Graydon and Maple! I hear the FULL CAST audiobook is insane so when it comes out, I’m definitely buying that bad boy!

Just get your hands on this as SOON as you can because you will not be disappointed!

Thank you sooo much to Hambright PR! Thank you to Bloom Books! And THANK YOU to Meghan Quinn! It was a great pleasure to have received this book in exchange for my honest review!

First of all, thank you so much Meghan for the arc! I’m honored to be a part of your review crew. Secondly, this book was fan-freaking-tastic! Which should come as no surprise because it’s a Meghan Quinn book. This book will have you laughing out loud one minute, and crying during an emotional scene the next. Meghan never fails to pull every emotion out of me. That is why she will always be one of my favorite authors. Not only did I love our main characters, but I loved all the side characters so much. It was great revisiting with some of our old friends and meeting new characters. I cannot wait for everyone else’s books after this one! Give me more OC!

We have Maple and Graydon in this one. You might remember our cheerful, flamingo loving fmc from Bridesmaid Undercover. Graydon is the grumpy football player that feels like he has too much baggage to ever find love. He is forced into a pr stunt at the zoo where he meets Maple. Fast forward to a little fake dating that eventually turns into real dating. But can Maple handle being in the spotlight, and can Graydon open up about his baggage to make it work? I loved the character growth in this one so much. Graydon is a changed man by the end of the book, and my heart is so happy for him.

I also listened to the alc from Hambright while reading along. This was my first audiobook of Meghan’s. To say I’ve been having fomo would be an understatement. This is a full cast narration starring Conner Crais and Emma Wilder. Everyone did an amazing job and really brought every character to life beautifully. I felt like I was right there with everyone and hanging out with my best friends.

Of course, I highly, highly recommend this one! It was perfection as always. Be sure to mark your calendars for February 3rd!

Thank you so much to Meghan Quinn and Hambright PR for the ALC 💌

This book felt like pure sweetness and falling in love when you least expect it… with a lot of giggling in between ✨

Brayden is the definition of broody football star energy—grumpy, guarded, and pretending he doesn’t care.
Maple is pure sunshine, a flamingo keeper at the SF Zoo with the warmest heart and softest glow ☀️

☀️ Grumpy x Sunshine
🥵 Forced Proximity
💗 Enemies to Lovers
💪🏽 Jealous, protective MMC

The way Brayden talks about flamingos had me giggling nonstop—calling them “double bubble gum birds” and “pink dodo birds” like it’s completely normal 🦩💗

And the Gladdy Daddies group chat??? Actual laugh-out-loud moments. Silly, chaotic, and such a perfect balance to the swoon 🤍

Quote that stuck out🩷: “Find someone who looks at you like Brayden looks at flamingos.”

But beneath the laughter, there’s tenderness that sneaks up on you…
“I’m not worth the pain.”
“Trust me, you are.”

The audio deserves its own moment 🎧 The multiple narrators brought every character to life in the dreamiest way—this one is an absolute must-listen.

So many kick your feet moments, pink flamingos, and a grumpy man falling hard 🦩💗

Just For the Cameras releases February 3 and it’s pure joy ✨

Let me start by saying Meghan Quinn has a way with words and is hilarious AF. Her banter always pulls me in, and Just for the Cameras was no exception.

Graydon was a top-tier grump and for good reason. I really enjoyed finding out what made him the way he is. Maple was equal parts adorable and strong, and watching these two clash, push each other, and slowly wear each other down was fun to read about.

I also became obsessed with a side character (OC) who’s getting his own book. He’s a chaotic hot mess, leader of the “Gladdy Daddies” group chat, and honestly kept me hooked. I need his story immediately.

Now for the real talk: the length. At nearly 600 pages, it felt longer than necessary. If you can do the audiobook, I highly recommend that route. There’s also a trope that isn’t my personal favorite (no spoilers here), but overall this was still an entertaining book.

Full cast + Duet

This audio was stacked!! I was cackling at the grumpy banter between two MCs that loathe eachother. The nicknames Graydon would give the flamingos and literally anyone that he hated were top tier insults, I couldn’t contain my laughter.

Super freaking cute!! Pacing slowed down a bit in the center, and felt a long for a romantic comedy. I believe this audio is around 17hrs, and felt 5hrs too long.

Our MC is a football player who needs to revamp his image so his PR company signs him and his fellow team mates up for volunteer work at the zoo (which is portrayed as an amusement park with animals) he meets and does NOT get along with zoologist Maple, heading the flamingos. They launch an IG page to promote and fundraise for the flamingos where the world assumes they’re together- leading to a fake relationship.

The trauma in Graydon’s life is heart wrenching and explains why he’s such a grump. I loved that added depth to the fluffy romance.

I listened to this on audio and had the BEST time. Meghan Quinn is in her hilarious, over the top era and somehow makes it work every single time. This one had me genuinely laughing out loud, swooning, and kicking my feet over a grumpy football player who never stood a chance against a goofy, flamingo loving zookeeper.

The audiobook is a full multicast DREAM TEAM, and the performances absolutely elevate the banter, tension, and slow burn chemistry. It’s spicy, sweet, ridiculous in the best way, and pure rom com chaos. Fake dating, forced proximity, a real grouchy grump, and a sunshine FMC who steals the show — I was fully entertained from start to finish.

🎧 Early audio listen & highly recommend this one in headphones.

Tropes 🦩
• Grumpy MMC (mean ish, broody, allergic to feelings)
• Sunshine FMC (goofy, sweet, flamingo girl supremacy)
• Fake dating for PR 😌
• Forced proximity (AT A ZOO???)
• He falls first (and HARD)
• Public tension / private yearning
• Slow burn ➝ big spice ➝ bigger payoff
• “Why do I care???” spiral

My first Meghan Quinn is officially finished 👏🏼 and I enjoyed the hell out of it. I absolutely love the grumpy/sunshine trope, but throw in some fake dating and I am fully seated and locked in. This had me kicking and screaming as the relationship between Graydon and Maple started really forming because it felt SO real. Those little flirty text messages?! I was smiling so hard.

I will say that this was a little long for what it was! And I really wish we had more scenes with the flamingos!! I was expecting so much more with that…missed opportunity for some hilarious and memorable scenes. Graydon has this stubborn and overprotective side to him that was endearing at first, but came to be rather overly frustrating as his character seemed to develop everywhere else but that. Maple was adorable and really kept to who she was, while discovering new sides to herself.

Overall, I enjoyed this! The full cast audio was so fun. Thank you to the author and Hambright PR for sending me an early copy. This one will be out February 3rd 🦩

For those football girlies who love a football romance, you’ll want to add this one to the tbr!! And if you love a grumpy sunshine, Graydon and Maple will be the couple for you!! This boom had some of my absolute favorite tropes and it had me laughing so much.

If I can count on anything with Meghan Quinn, it’s the fact that she will have me cracking up, and the text threads between the men in this book was PERFECTION. The three most unlikely men are forced together and you do not want to miss it 🤣🤣

Although I had some trouble getting sucked in for the first 30%, I knew if I held on it would be worth the wait!! Graydon was such a dish!t the first 30%, unnecessarily mean to poor Maple, but the more you learn about his situation, the more it makes sense. My heart breaks for him.

This book hit me in every possible emotion. Although it’s not my favorite Meghan Quinn book, it was still a fun read that made me fall for the characters and want more from the side characters!!

Meghan Quinn strikes again! MCs with incredible chemistry, hilarious side characters, and a storyline that tugs at your heartstrings. The characters were written so well that there were moments I was genuinely mad at Graydon for being so hot and cold with Maple. His behavior is rooted in personal struggles I can’t get into without spoilers but trust me, it makes sense. And Maple? Our girl is one tough cookie. She knows exactly what she wants and refuses to back down!

This series was set up perfectly, and I loved getting a sneak peek at what’s coming for our next two MMCs, Bennett and OC 👀. And the group chat… the Gladdy Daddies?! Absolutely OBSESSED, can’t wait to see more of that banter!

I was literally squealing over how cute this book was. Thank you, Meghan Quinn and Good Girls PR for this ALC!! 💕🦩

I am obsessed with this audio!! This was the ultimate grumpy x sunshine book. Graydon is a grumpy, closed off football player that ends up in a PR relationship with sunshine zookeeper, Maple. They can’t stand each other and there’s so much tension between them. Neither one wants to admit they have feelings for the other but the tension eventually bubbles over and they can’t deny their attraction.
I was hooked from the beginning. Maple and Graydon get off to a rocky start but their banter was so good! Once Graydon let his walls down with Maple, he was down bad for her! Connor Crais growling “mine” should be reason enough to listen to this audio.
The group chat between the boys had me cracking up! I loved that this was a full cast narration. The banter was chef’s kiss! I really hope there’s more books after this one because I need more of the gladdy daddies group chat.
Overall I loved this audio. I loved the duet narration with the full cast that consisted of some of my favorite narrators. I can’t wait to see what’s next!

Thank you @hambright_pr and Meghan for the ALC!

4.25 stars!

Thank you Hambright for the ARC/ALC. I decided to do the audiobook and oh my, the casts was so so good! Connor Crais never disappoint.

This book was a little unhinged but in the best possible way! Just for the cameras follows Graydon, a football player in San Francisco (BAY AREAAAA) who was sent to volunteer at the zoo as a PR stunt. He was paired up with a flamingo keeper which he was NOT happy about. Maple, the zookeeper is a ray of sunshine and let's just say Graydon is the grumpiest man ever. They begin to fake date as another PR stunt in order to bring positive views for his team and awareness to the flamingos.

Ugh I AM A SUCKER FOR FAKE DATING, ENEMIES TO LOVERS, GRUMP X SUNSHNE. So I ate this book up!!! I fund myself being so giddy and even squealing. hahaha.

Def add to your TBR

Thanks to Hambright PR for the gifted Earc
In Meghan fashion this book was hysterical. full of Grumpy x sunshine, Forced proximity, and fake dating
We follow our spunky, vibrant, kind zoo keeper Maple who LOVES the flamingoes. Our Grumpy, broody, and handsome Pro football player Graydon. Together they have to come together for a PR relationship to help the zoo and the Foghorns.
There was a lot of character growth, thank goodness because at times they both drove me batty. Meghan also put in some emotional topics which is great to break up the comedy. The side characters were chefs kiss and i'm excited to see who we follow next. The book was laugh out loud funny and around 3 chili peppers on the spice meter. My only complaint is her books are usually way too long for a romance. Sitting at almost 600 pages is wild.

This took grumpy x sunshine to another level 🤣 I won’t lie, the start of this book I was getting really pissed at Graydon’s attitude and treatment towards Maple. Whatever his past was, he had no right to disrespect Maple as much as he did. I’m glad towards 50% of the book, Maple started to stand up for herself more and demanded respect and made Graydon work for it. It got better for me once they got closer and Graydon’s attitude really did a 360 once he accepted that he had feelings for her. I really really REALLY enjoyed the ALC of this!! The casting was perfect and I am now a huge fan of Connor Crais 🤭

Thank you Hambright PR for the ALC!! If you’re a fan of Meghan Quinn and romcoms, you’ll def want to add to your TBR’s! Releasing on Feb 3rd 🦩💛
