This is a nice little guide to the art of crafting balloon animals, in this case mostly featuring cartoon characters. Suitable for absolute beginners but also including some more advanced models, it’s a great way to develop a starting repertoire if you’d like to learn balloon twisting. Obviously such a short book isn’t going to tell you how to make all the most advanced ones, much less to create your own designs, but it will give you a nice collection of a little more than 15 characters most people would find delightful. Most importantly, the instructions are clear, simple, and fully-illustrated with photographs of each step so it’s easy to follow along.
I have this desire to be a children's entertainer. I liken it to being a clown, but it's really different. I want to be that guy who hires homself out to schools for workshops. I would be in character as a storyteller (Toastmasters). In that role, I would dabble in magic, juggling, and balloon animals. Yup, just a pipe dream. But it led me to this book and I still use it.
