These novellas of Sue London's are wonderful. This one features Casimir's older sister, Krystyna Rokiczana, who is dedicated to seeing her younger brother fulfill their father's wishes. She decides to travel to London to talk some sense into him. In order to get there she needs help and finds in the form of an acquaintance of her brother, Hans Von Rosen. Hans is a very proper Prussian nobleman and it is ever so much fun watching him fall for the very independent Krystyna as they spend days trave ...more

Another novella from the Haberdashers Tales. I have quite liked these novellas, something to fill the gap, nice and light, no concentration needed.

However, something is gnawing away at me, it doesn't read as though Sue London wrote it. It maybe that the two main characters are not English, therefore she has tried writing with a foreign tongue in mind, I don't know. It didn't have its usual flow.

However, I always think you can't complain too much with novellas and really t

I really enjoyed the Sweet Tannenbaum --- such a lovely sweet Novella! The characters were fun to get to know and loved how they were introduced to each other --- plot well planned and story well written. A fun, enjoyable read. Will look for the rest in this series! A Christmas with a tree and candles!

Sweet story, but just a bit too vanilla compared to the other Haberdasher tales.

Sweet Story

This is a sweet story set around Christmas. It's a nice addition to the Haberdashers series. The characters are loveable and their falling in love is adorable.

Another cute story in the Haberdasher series. Instead of a servant, this one follows Casmir's sister. I liked the characters and thought the novella was a nice story for Christmas Day!

If Hans can stomach to make a traitor to his country his brother-in-law and trust him... Then good luck with that. However, I don't want to jump to conclusions so I guess I need to read Fates For Apate to better understand Casmir more.

Forced proximity is one of my favorite tropes. Krystyana and Hans are great characters. Both are very stubborn and perfect for each other. I am not complaining that Casimir is showing up in so many books. I really liked this story and the tension was well done.

Sweet & Witty

If you're looking for a sarcastic heroine and stoic hero this is the novella for you. I devoured it in a day while prepping for Christmas. Kristina and Hand snowed in together at an inn and realizing their deepening feelings is too adorable for words.
