Though the book's content is oriented to students in the UK, the content can easily be adjusted to the reader's context. The layout of the chapters (introduction, key terms, references in blue, tips boxes, and now activities) makes it a pleasant for the reader to dip in the topic they are interested in, to gain practical steps and to apply them to their daily living. The book begins with chapters dedicated to events before starting University, during University and after graduating (getting a job). I look forward to using this book to enrich my studies and help me grow to be a more successful student.

I would recommend it for any parent of a soon-to-be student or any person consider to study or already studying a degree. This book will serve as a reference I will return to frequently.

Despite being mainly for new undergraduate students, I found myself appreciating the advice offered, and becoming a better student using many of their practical ideas.
