How can I not love a book about a con artist and a fighter?

Tempest and Silas where young and in love but after Tempests parents conned a few rich families in West bend she had to run with them and leave Silas goodbye, no money and no way to find her.

Tempest is a con artist with the heart of Robin Hood. She and her team con people that deserve that and they give the money they steal to the persons those "bad people" have hurt.

I'm had a hard time deciding whether I like Elias or Silas more. Sabrina Paige do has some great talent in writing easy to read smutt story with really likable characters.

When I first met Silas in previous book, I thought he was the bad twin, the rule breaker, the heartbreaker. So color me surprised when I found out he was pining after his first love, who unfortunately is a con artist.

Tempest met Silas when they were 17, she was brought up to follow her parent footstep as con artist. When she up

It's a little different as the main story line about the brothers runs through all the books but each brother will fall in love within their own book. (I hope that came out right) I like the concept it leaves me hanging to continue the story but I also get a new story every book. It's a different read for me and so far I'm enjoying it.

This was a good second chance romance. Tempest and Silas were in love when they were 17. One day, Tempest takes off and leaves Silas behind without even saying goodbye. Things aren't what they seem and eventually the truth comes out. I liked Tempest, she was strong and kind of a bad-ass. Silas was sexy but also really sweet. I liked this book but not as much as I liked the first book in this series. For me, this one got off to a bit of a slow start and it took me a while to really get into it. I ...more

Having just read and enjoyed 'Elias' I decided to move straight into 'Silas' we got glimpses of him in the previous book well more than just glimpses and something was off, he was edgy and holding back and difficult to get a lock on, but then since it wasn't his book we didn't really have enough to work with.
Silas fell in love young, she was it for him and he knew it but she left and took his heart with her and while there's been other women his heart has always stayed away, but then they meet a
I found myself more interested in the grifter aspects to this one than the romance. I liked that Tempest had standards, that she only stole from those that deserved it. That will come in handy as it seems that the Saint brothers are in need of someone to help them get to the bottom of what happened to their parents. It will be interesting how things shake out.

On a side note Tempest's grandma was a hoot, I loved how she egged Tempest on.

Beautiful brothers.....

I can't believe there are two more of the perfect specimen to go, and I can't wait until they all knock this crazy little town on its ass and take back what's theirs.

3.75 stars. liking the series so far. I'll will be waiting for Lukes book next:)
This was ok, but not as good as the first book in the series. I liked Silas and Tempest. But frankly the book was a bit boring for me. I am not a fan of second chance, but this one worked ok for me. They never expected to see each other again and she left him so I was ok with him moving on. (view spoiler)

Well it's somewhere between 3 1/2 and 4.

Sweet quick read. They are dragging out the mystery of the land they own and why someone wants to kill for it.

Tempest is cool and she very interesting. I am glad she didn't run and lasted the distance.

Silas is hot and sexy! He sure know how to get what he wants and damn the man has stamina. I could go for that.

The only thing that bothered me was all the sex...yes I did say that! Hopefully I don't get struck by lightning for saying that. It just seemed lik

4 stars!! This series has cameos from the inferno MCs ... so far I have read the first 3 books Silas, Luke and Elias and let me tell you it's quite awesome! They all can be read as stand alone but everything gels when you read them in order!! Each couple has a HEA

Reading this book was like watching an episode of Leverage...which I loved. For all the history the Silas and Tempest had that was bad...the angst in this book was low. I figured they would have more issues and backlash from Coker...but there was non at all from him.
Also the plot thickens with the story behind what really happens to the brother's parents. Things like what really happened to their dad? What really went down with their mom...and who is behind everything?
Let me not forget the end a

This is the second book in the West Bend Saints series that follows the 4 Saint brothers as they find their HEAs and unravel the mystery surrounding some shady dealings in their home town of West Bend, CO. This book is about Silas, who is Elias’ twin, and Tempest Wilde, the girl who broke his heart when they were just 17. I really enjoyed the fact that this was a second chance romance, they had a history so it made sense that they fell back into each other’s arms when their paths crossed 7 years ...more
Silas is the second book in the West Bend Saints series and tells the story of Silas and Tempest, long-lost lovers who are reunited. It also continues the mystery surrounding the deaths of the Saint boys's parents.

In Elias Silas at first came off as a bit of a jerk, so I wasn't sure what to expect of him in his own book. But I should have know better...I think he may have edged out his twin for my affections!

Silas is hot steamy read about 2 strong-willed individuals, reaching for a second chance

Good series

So, the West Bend series is shaping up to be a good one. This is the second in the series, and they should be read in order. Book 2 follows Tempest and Silas (who we met in book 1). Tempest and Silas fell in love while they were in high school. Tempest and her family moved to town to run a con (they are grifters), and she and Silas end up together while they are in town. When the con is over, they leave without a word, and Silas is heartbroken. Flash forward 7 years. Silas is set to t

I went right into this after reading book 1, Elias, and the story continues with Elias's twin, Silas. He's been asked by a friend for a favor, and while performing that favor he comes face to face with his past love, Tempest. And their story takes off from there!

I didn't enjoy all of this one as much as Elias - I felt like Silas & Tempest had too much time apart in the story - they were each working toward the same thing, but separately & so a lot of the story is them individually (with

I really enjoyed Silas. The banter between him and Tempest, so far, has been the best but I haven't started Luke yet. I am a bit concerned with the whole "high school sweethearts are still in love when they're adults" plot, because who knows what they want at 17 years old? And I would hope that some of those wants/needs have changed once you become an adult. But I suppose that's the point of fiction, to feed us a fantasy. As fantasies go, it wasn't a bad one. These Saint brothers are quite hilar ...more

Four very happy stars!! So far Silas is my favorite Saint brother. So sexy! And I love that he is a fighter! But this story caught me right away. I loved the grittiness of it with Tempest being a con artist and him the fighter. I loved that they had a complicated past and when they saw each other again for the first time it was electric! You knew that they both were somehow going to end up back in West Bend. And I loved Letty!! She is hilarious! Who doesn't want a nana like her?? So awesome and ...more
I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review & in all honest, I loved the story of Silas & Tempest. I was especially intrigued with the "grifter" or "traveller" concept, neither of which are common terms in Australia but sounds so much more exotic & intriguing than simply "con artist"! The back story of Silas & Tempest's youthful romance was well explained and meshed well with the current events in their lives, as well as what was happening in their home tow ...more

Sabrina did not disappoint on this book !

This story is about the swoon worthy other twin of Elias.

The story picks up where we left off from the first book Elias. All the usual
characters are back.

Enter Tempest.

There is the back story between Silas and Tempest from when they were 17.
Cut to present day and their paths cross again.

Tempest does believe in fate and karma - so what does she do when she comes
face to face with Silas after 7 years.

The way Sabrina writes, the sex scenes between Silas and T

I burned through this book. It has everything I love...second chance love, a heroine who doesn't whine, hot guy, suspense, and a believable plot. Should be easy, but after reading some of the things I have, it seems it is not. What I really love is the sub plot the author has running in this series. What began in Elias, is continued in Silas. Luckily, there are two more brothers and the story will continue. I want to find out what is to come of the town, how the villains meet their fate and what ...more

I'm very anxious to get a chance to read and review "SILAS" story in book #2 of the West Bend Series! =)
Book #1 of "ELIAS" story was enjoyable with the romance, a bit of suspense and great steamy build up.

Silas seems like an intriguing bad boy in comparison to his twin-brother Elias so I'm looking forward to seeing how this unfolds.

Just added to my TBR List!
I guess I should have given Elias a 3.5, because Silas, although the better character of the two (in my opinion) fell short for me. I felt like this book was so much more about the sex that the story. Oddly enough, I liked Silas and Tempest better than Elias and River, but I just got bored reading all of the sex scenes...and that's never a good thing. I still enjoyed the book, though. I've started Luke today and can't wait to see how the main story line ends.
whoop that was exciting :-)

The plot continues onto the next book.

love Silas's story it was hot unpredictable, exciting and enough to entice you onto the next book.
Recommended read from book one first.

Great storytelling!

I love that this book was a type of story new to me and not the usual. It was another chapter in the Saint boys lives in West Bend but the twist was that it was also about grifters or con-artists. In the forefront of that is Tempest, Silas’s teenage lover and sweetheart.

Another good book from this author!
