I have no background in the Waldorf philosophy and so I picked this book up in effort to learn more about the how/why, etc. In my opinion, this book was poorly designed and lacked cohesiveness. I was much more impressed and enlightened with Rudolf Steiner's The Spirit of the Waldorf School. I thought it might be too technical since I didn't have the background, but his words made much more sense. Skip this one and go with Steiner's own words.

Masters writing is winding, opaque, and very hard to make sense of. He also makes a lot of claims without offering any research to back them up.

Interesting ideas but the writing is way too rambling and opaque. The author seems to be quite passionate and knowledgeable but constantly undercut himself with parentheticals and tangents and it was just too frustrating to be really helpful.
