Interesting, brief overview the six specific characteristics of the Lutheran christian denomination.

This book was helpful to me as it explains the beliefs of the Lutheran Church in a clear manner with examples that further clarify the topics. It is short and easy to read and has a study guide in the back to help the reader focus on specific questions as they read. I would recommend this to anyone who is curious about being Lutheran, or wants to better understand their own faith. This would be perfect to assist in adult confirmation classes or even to give someone at their first communion, or just before.

A six-session course on Lutheran teaching. Starts with interesting description of early history, confessions of faith, etc. Most of book taken up with ordinary mainstream Christian beliefs. Learned that Lutherans have retained confession all these years! I had no idea.
