About the author

Masahiro Chatani was an architect, considered to be the inventor of orgamic architecture. He graduated from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1956, later becoming a professor there.

My friend Antonia gave this to me during graduate school as a distractor. Origami architecture takes the concept of folding paper and cranks it up a notch by allowing cuts to the paper! Truly beautiful and amazing results.
