In the novel Dirty south readers will be taken on a journey of drugs, sex, lies and murder and that is just the beginning. The story revolves around notorious New Orleans kingpin Marion “Snookey” Lake, his two kids Shawn and Dawn and his nephew Rae-Kwon.

what I think about this book is that it really impressed me in the setting. Theres so much Gangs,drugs,strippers,and so on. when I first saw this book it really called my attention. If someone really wanned to read this book they would actually really learn about a lot of things .One like an example,Snookey got pregnant at 14 with this boy that did drugs. When the baby was born ,he started hitting his son . She decided to move on, get a job, put her son in school, and she went out to look for a ...more
