Brought back lots of good memories - walking home in the rain from grade school. Always felt sorry for the worms that were on the sidewalk - nowhere to go but up - and that was not a good place to be. Still a very nice story with vibrant art. Great to read on a rainy day!

It's a simple narrative for the littles but one they'll enjoy!

Content surprises are super annoying, especially when you’re 100+ pages in, so here’s my attempt to help you avoid that!

I personally wasn’t impressed with the words (thought the concept was cute!) but my 18 month old stopped what he was doing to come over and lay down on the couch and listen, which he has literally never done before so I’m guessing I’m not the target audience 😂

Really cute, full of the joy of playing outside in all kinds of weather…planning to give as a gift to a 4-year old.

It was a cute book. Not a lot of text, but lots of rhyming that flows real well. At the beginning of the book there are some questions/ideas to start a discussion after you've read the book so that was pretty cool. The illustrations are cute as well! I really liked the details in the illustrations like the pizza window sign.

Beautiful illustrations of rainy day walk to pizza place and park, but I kept wondering why it was titled, Worm Weather. We do see the worms get excited about the rainy weather and make their way above ground. But the story is not really focused on the worms. And the text was a little sparse for my liking. That said it was well written.

What a wonderful book to read to toddlers and infants about rainy weather. I loved the simple rhyming scheme continued well throughout the book and each sentence was short and sweet.

This would be wonderful too for young readers to discuss what they see on the page and how they can match the words to the pictures.

Not super great for storytime however, as the book is rather small.

This is a really cute book about spring, rain, and worms. While rhyming, it talks of things to do on a rainy day and how you know it is worm weather. I would use this book in a unit introducing spring and/or weather.

Like the Core Concepts note to parents and educators in the beginning. Good explanation as to how the concepts of Imagination and Weather help develop cognitive skill, science concepts, predictions and response.
Text and pictures are engaging. Good read aloud and/or Early Reader.

Very cute illustrations and simple rhyming text show two children outside enjoying the rainy, worm weather. When it starts thundering, they head inside for some pizza until the storm stops and a rainbow appears

Urocza!

I love rain and this was the perfect little book to read on a rainy day like today. I didn't realize how many things these kids got into like plopping into a giant mud puddle or stomping away with worms.
I definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes rainy days and cute books.

Uninspired. Only a few lines of text. Mediocre illustrations. Kids didn't care for it.
