doesn’t match the description
It’s pretty good but it doesn’t match the description. I feel like the story was supposed to go one way then took on a kind of its own. It’s fine! I understand, but my expectations weren’t met because of it. There were a few parts in there where I could see it was changed and adjusted for the new plan but the other parts weren’t changed to match. Overall good, just a little thrown off.

A love that would not be denied!
It's been a long while since I've read a book by this author. But that is definitely going to change. This book had me clutching my Kindle tightly while I was soaking up the words on these digital pages. Beau and Chante had a great love until Beau chose to follow his dream to go pro in the NFL, leaving Chante behind. First of all, let me say I so appreciated the back story of what kind of relationship Beau and Chante had and what caused their breakup. It explained a lot in regards to where both main characters were in the present time.
I loved so many things about this book. One was Beau's determination to reclaim Chante's trust, love, and respect at any cost. And whewwweee Chile, the diabolical way he went about it was OTT and left no room for doubt. That man was playing for keeps. Another part of this awesome story that I loved was Chante's honoring of her late husband Derrek. She loved him to the moon and back. There's a part in this book that had me bawling my eyes out. No spoilers! If you know, then you know. That part made this story even more special, and I knew from then on this book had me full stop.
I believe that there's a possibility for two people to reconnect for a second chance at getting it right and finding their HEA when the timing is right, and then I say go for it. Life is too short to play games and missing out on what could be the best second half of your life. Beau and Chante deserved theirs. And I'm so glad I was able to read such an amazing story. I most definitely recommend this book.

This is a captivating story with amazing characters that's so enjoyable with a relationship that is entertaining and drama filled . What a couple they have a sizzling chemistry that burns the pages.The story is full of humor and suspense that I really enjoyed. This is a must reads by T.C Clark. It a has strong and brave woman and a man who will fight for love of his life even if it's right or wrong. Of course their connections is steamy with interesting twists and lots of excitement this will keep you turning pages. This is a fast paced story, that I enjoyed reading It's also intriguing and it will keep you engage from the beginning and I enjoyed every moment of it. Oh my I couldn't put my reader down until I finished the story. The story is full of discovery and some saddest. It's so emotional its a must read if you are like myself you will enjoy it because this is definitely a excellent romance!!. This is the kind of story that has you cheering for them all.

Good storyline
I enjoyed this storyline and the main characters. They both had tough decisions at such a young age. My take on this is the forgiveness and being open to send chances. I did remove a star because I had no description of either character other than Beau's eye color and height. Where did the live, city, and state would have been nice to know.

I enjoyed this long lost love story and I can understand the choice each of the main characters made in their lives,it just made their love stronger in the end.

Ever since I started reading this book, the word devouring comes to mind. I just could not put it down. Chante never had a chance. Beau had it bad and so did l. I recommend this book highly. Ms Clark you are totally awesome. 🥰

I love this Arthur.. I have read almost all of her books and the one was great it reminded me of one if her others but I wish she would gave waited a little longer to forgive his parents

I am not a fan of series
However this first one made me laugh, rolled my eyes and cried it was funny the Alpha is charming and overly obsessive but in a good way.
The leading lady is strong sadness without bitterness a must read.
