This is the story of Ohio State's undefeated run to the 1968 national championship. For Ohio State football loyalists, there hasn't been a time like the 1968 season. In '68, OSU completed a 10-0-0 sweep, won the Rose Bowl over O.J. Simpson and Southern Cal, and finished as the national champion. It was a team of household names for Ohio State Kern, Brockington, Otis, Tatum, Hayden, Stillwagon, Gillian, Provost, Polaski, Foley, Worden, Adams, White, Whitfield, Jankowski, Long, Maciejowski, and Zelina -- the latter of whom is the co-author of this work.
A+++ #GoBuckeyes #OhioStateBuckeyesFootball Excellent book told from the words of players and assistance coaches. I was too young to enjoy this season while it was happening but I heard numerous stories about the 1968 undisputed National Championship Team and the Super Sophomores. I really enjoyed listening to this audio book. The narration is excellent and the writing is championship quality.
What a great walk down memory lane since I am the same age as the Super Sophomores and was at Ohio State at that time. The summaries of the game preparation, game and player memories was GREAT!
