This is the first I have read from M.R. Pritchard. I have more of her novels on my kindle that I hope to one day read. This was a very good and short read! I read it in just a few minutes.

It seems like it could be in the middle or the start of a good book. These two men arrive at the outside of a city. I can’t really say much more as the story is so short. I was pulled into this flash fiction and then

I give it 2 starts rather than 1 based solely on the fact that it could be turned into a great story. This 1 page read (which I was expecting to be at least a couple of chapters) was barely worth the effort of clicking the download button.

This short story is really flash fiction. It was well-written but ended way too soon. I was just getting ready to learn more about the safest city on Earth and how it had been established when the story ended with a decision but nothing more about the city itself. I do hope the author uses this as a mini prequel or blurb to a much more fleshed out novel. It would be interesting to discover the city's origins, founders/builders, and if the city is really earthly at all or whether it, perhaps, exi ...more

There's not much of a story here, but at least it's free and took about 3 minutes to read, so it wasn't a giant waste of time.

I would have loved to see more about this world. Intriguing story, but I wished there was more to it.

A good short story

This short story is well written for a story of only 450 words in length. It has a simple plot and is a quick read, perfect if you are commuting.

Interesting

This flash fiction is well written. It drew me in immediately. I only wish it was just a little longer.

This is a pretty good short story about good, evil, and the judgement thereof. The only question I have is that if one man was left to burn, and the other was “hauled up,” what exactly happened to the man who was sent up?

Otherwise, this is
